Abstract

This study evaluates the post-adoption effectiveness and efficiency of GoPay usage among Generation Z in Kutai Kartanegara and Kutai Barat Regencies, East Kalimantan, within the context of 2025 regional fiscal pressures and digital infrastructure limitations in rural settings. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation involving six Generation Z informants selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted phenomenologically using NVivo 15 software through textual description, structural description, and synthesis of meanings. The findings indicate that GoPay is perceived as highly effective and efficient due to its transaction speed, ease of use, security features, and promotional benefits that contribute to cost savings. TreeMap and WordCloud visualizations reveal the dominance of terms such as “fast,” “transaction,” “efficient,” and “time” in participants’ narratives. Beyond functioning as a digital payment tool, GoPay also serves as a simple financial management instrument through balance monitoring and transaction history features. However, challenges such as limited digital literacy and unstable internet connectivity remain significant barriers in rural contexts. This study recommends strengthening digital literacy programs and expanding digital infrastructure to optimize financial inclusion for Generation Z in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

The Public Service Mall (Mal Pelayanan Publik/MPP) is a strategic digital-based bureaucratic transformation innovation enshrined in Presidential Regulation No. 89 of 2021. Makassar City, as one of the pilot cities in Eastern Indonesia, offers a rich context for examining the dynamics of digital innovation in public services, yet in-depth academic studies on its digital innovation dimension remain scarce. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the digital innovation dimension in the implementation of Makassar City's MPP in 2025, encompassing the technology architecture employed, service digitalization processes, driving and inhibiting factors of digital innovation adoption, and its impact on public service quality and efficiency. A qualitative approach with a holistic single case study design (Yin, 2018) was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 12 purposively selected key informants, three months of participatory observation (February–April 2025), and documentary analysis. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña (2014), with data credibility ensured through source and method triangulation and member checking. Digital innovation in Makassar City's MPP operates across four integrated layers: (1) infrastructure layer—NIK-based Single Sign-On platform connecting 22 agencies; (2) service layer—digitalization of 47 service types with measurable time standards; (3) user experience layer—iCare mobile application with real-time tracking and automatic notifications; and (4) analytics layer—data-driven performance monitoring dashboard enabling continuous service improvement. These innovations reduced average waiting time from 4.2 to 1.8 working days, raised the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) to 84.1 by March 2025, and decreased complaint rates by 41.3% year-on-year. The success of digital innovation in MPP Makassar rests on four pillars: transformational digital leadership, human-centered technology architecture, a robust multi-actor collaboration ecosystem, and an organizational culture oriented toward continuous improvement. This model deserves to be a national reference with the necessary contextual adaptation.

Abstract

Peningkatan temperatur pada kabin kendaraan Mitsubishi L300 sering menyebabkan penurunan kenyamanan termal pengemudi, terutama akibat posisi mesin yang berada di bawah kabin kendaraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan aluminium glass mat dan bubble aluminium foil sebagai material thermal insulation dalam menurunkan temperatur dan kelembaban kabin Mitsubishi L300 Euro 2. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pengukuran suhu dan kelembaban pada ruang kabin, area kursi, dan ruang mesin kendaraan menggunakan Data Logger Elitech RC-4HC, thermometer infrared, dan mini digital thermometer. Pengujian dilakukan pada kondisi siang dan malam hari dengan variasi ketebalan material 4 mm, 6 mm, dan 8 mm serta dua konfigurasi pemasangan, yaitu pemasangan parsial pada area mesin dan pemasangan penuh pada seluruh permukaan kap mesin. Setiap variasi pengujian dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali untuk meningkatkan validitas data penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aluminium foil mampu menurunkan temperatur pada ruang mesin, area kursi, dan kabin kendaraan. Konfigurasi pemasangan penuh memberikan efektivitas penurunan suhu yang lebih baik dibandingkan pemasangan parsial. Variasi bubble aluminium foil ketebalan 8 mm menghasilkan performa terbaik dengan efisiensi penurunan suhu ruang mesin sebesar 21,9%, sehingga dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan kenyamanan termal kabin kendaraan.

Abstract

This study examines the position of Sasak women in the merariq tradition on Lombok Island with an emphasis on the perspective of gender justice and equality. The merariq tradition as a typical marriage practice of the Sasak people is often understood as a symbol of male courage and social legitimacy in forming a family, but on the other hand, it leaves problems related to women's position and rights. This study aims to analyse how the construction of women's position in the practice of merariq and the extent to which the tradition reflects the principles of justice and gender equality. The method used is qualitative research with a sociological approach to Islamic law and gender, through case studies and descriptive-analytical analysis. The results show that the practice of merariq contains ambivalence: on the one hand, it shows gender inequality through the lack of women's consent, social pressure, and marginalisation in decision-making; But on the other hand, it also opens up a space for negotiation for women in determining their life partner. Thus, justice in the Merariq tradition cannot be seen formally but must be analysed substantively through women's experiences and the power relations that surround them.

Abstract

This study analyzed the effect of cooling pad placement in closed-house broiler cages on production performance and farmer income at Anitasari Farm, Dampit District, Malang Regency. The research compared two ventilation systems, namely front cooling pad and side cooling pad configurations, during one production cycle of 38 days. A descriptive quantitative approach was applied using direct observation, interviews, and farm documentation. Primary data included final body weight, feed conversion ratio, mortality, performance index, temperature, humidity, ammonia concentration, wind speed, production costs, and farmer revenue. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics and an independent t-test to identify differences between both systems. The results indicated that cooling pad placement influenced microclimate distribution inside the house and affected broiler productivity. The side cooling pad system produced more stable temperature and humidity conditions, improved feed efficiency, reduced heat stress, and supported better broiler performance. These conditions contributed to higher production efficiency and increased farmer income compared with the front cooling pad system. The study concludes that appropriate cooling pad placement is essential for optimizing environmental control, broiler productivity, and economic profitability in tropical closed-house poultry farming systems. The findings support recommendations for sustainable poultry management.

Abstract

A decline in employee performance within a company—particularly a palm oil plantation company—will lead to a drop in the company’s productivity, resulting in losses that the company wishes to avoid. The performance of palm oil harvesters has fallen short of the company’s expectations, leading to significant financial losses. This study was conducted at one of the oil palm plantation companies, PT. Cinta Raja, at the Silinda Plantation, Silinda Sub-district, Serdang Bedagai District, North Sumatra Province. The results of this study indicate that there is no influence on work motivation, work discipline, and work experience among harvesting employees. This was derived from the results of data calculations and field observations at the research site. However, work experience does influence employee performance.

Abstract

Assessment in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at the elementary level remains largely focused on written examinations that prioritize cognitive achievement, while affective competence is insufficiently evaluated because direct observation is limited and conventional assessment tends to be subjective. Previous studies have mostly treated video as a learning medium rather than an authentic assessment instrument. Therefore, this study analyzes the implementation of short video-based authentic assessment to measure students’ affective competence in Islamic Religious Education learning. The study used a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design involving 30 sixth-grade students at an elementary school in Batang Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. Data were collected through observation, video assessment, semi-structured interviews, and documentation using an affective rubric covering empathy, apologizing awareness, sincerity in forgiving, self-reflection, and authenticity of expression. The findings showed an average affective competence score of 13.95 out of 20, categorized as good. Authenticity of expression achieved the highest score, whereas self-reflection received the lowest. Overall, short video-based assessment provided more contextual, flexible, and objective evaluation than conventional methods while increasing student engagement and strengthening authentic assessment practices through digital technology integration. The approach also encouraged reflective learning, emotional expression, and meaningful participation during Islamic Religious Education activities among elementary students

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) remains one of the most common infectious diseases and continues to be a public health problem, including among military personnel. High mobility, intense social interaction, and suboptimal implementation of clean and healthy living behaviors increase the risk of ARI transmission among soldiers at Polkes Brigif 22/OM. This study aimed to identify the factors causing the high risk of ARI, determine priority problems, and develop intervention strategies through health education programs. The study used a descriptive approach with Fishbone analysis, USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) analysis, and SWOT analysis. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the main problem was the inconsistent implementation of preventive behaviors such as wearing masks when sick, practicing proper cough etiquette, and maintaining personal hygiene. Based on USG analysis, suboptimal clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) became the highest priority problem. SWOT analysis indicated that the organization was in Quadrant I (aggressive strategy), meaning that internal strengths and external opportunities could be optimized to support health education interventions. Health education activities involving 30 soldiers demonstrated an increase in the average score from approximately 60 during the pretest to 85 during the posttest. This finding indicates that health education effectively improved participants’ understanding and encouraged preventive behavior toward ARI. In addition, the SIAP ISPA digital education innovation was developed to support sustainable and accessible health promotion activities for soldiers.

Abstract

The code blue system aims to provide a rapid response to cardiac or respiratory arrest events. Implementation of this system is crucial to increase the chances of patient safety. However, in various hospitals, including in Aceh, the implementation of code blue faces several obstacles that can reduce its effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to analyze the obstacles to the implementation of code blue in hospitals in Aceh. The research design is an analytical correlation and a time-based design approach, namely cross-sectional. This study will be conducted from March to September 2025. The population in this study are nurses in hospitals with a sample of 50 people. The measurement tool used is a questionnaire about the obstacles to code blue and the implementation of code bule. The analysis will use univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. The results of the study indicate that there is a relationship between facilities and infrastructure factors (p = 0.009), contribution and communication (p = 0.001), regularity of training and simulation (p = 0.000), and managerial aspects in code implementation (p = 0.000) with the implementation of code blue in hospitals in Aceh. It is concluded that each factor plays an important role in implementing good code blue implementation in hospitals.

Abstract

Human resources are a key element in the establishment and structuring of an organization within a company. To manage activities relating to human resources, it is essential to foster motivation amongst the company’s employees. The higher the quality of human resources, the better the performance of employees will be, and the better the outcomes in terms of productivity and strategic efficiency will be. This research was conducted at PT. Cinta Raja, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra Province. The research was carried out from February to April 2026. The results of the study revealed that the human resource development programme and employee work motivation implemented at PT. Cinta Raja were of a significant standard and achieved their objectives more effectively. Furthermore, motivational training activities were maintained to uphold quality and quantity within the company, thereby ensuring that the provision of motivational rewards to employees for better performance had been achieved in line with the objectives set by PT. Cinta Raja.
