Abstract

The Drumblek Kresendo art performance in Kaliwungu, Kendal Regency combines drumblek percussion rhythms with the chanting of sholawatan, creating a performance that serves as a medium for conveying Islamic da'wah values to the community. This study aims to examine the process of internalizing Islamic da'wah values through sholawatan within the Drumblek Kresendo performance art. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observation, interviews with group leaders, performers, and audience members, as well as documentation, and were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing using source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that sholawatan in drumblek performances functions as a form of cultural da'wah that internalizes religious values through the introduction of values via sholawat chanting, community participation in sholawatan activities, the appreciation of collective religious experiences, and the reinforcement of the religious identity of the Kaliwungu community through performance practices in various religious and cultural events.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika materi pembagian di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, terutama rendahnya minat belajar siswa, keterlibatan peserta didik yang pasif, serta penggunaan media pembelajaran yang belum inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan media papan ular tangga berbasis game based learning pada materi pembagian di sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode literature review yang diperkuat dengan studi kebutuhan lapangan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan angket kebutuhan media. Partisipan penelitian terdiri atas 28 siswa dan 1 guru kelas IV SDN Kambangan 04 serta 5 guru kelas IV SD di Kabupaten Tegal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pembagian secara konkret. Guru juga menyatakan bahwa media berbasis permainan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, partisipasi aktif, dan kemampuan numerasi siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, media papan ular tangga berbasis game based learning memiliki urgensi untuk dikembangkan karena mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif, kolaboratif, dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bahwa integrasi permainan edukatif dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di SD.

Abstract

This research aimed to design PAKAR (Papan Ular Tangga Kocok Arisan) learning media for division material in elementary schools. The study was motivated by students’ low interest and difficulties in understanding division concepts in mathematics learning. This research applied the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, limited to the stages of Analysis, Design, and Development. The participants consisted of 28 fourth-grade students and one classroom teacher at SDN Kambangan 04, Lebaksiu District, Tegal Regency, five fourth-grade elementary school teachers in Tegal Regency, and two expert validators from Universitas PGRI Semarang. Data were collected through interviews, observations, needs questionnaires, and expert validation sheets. The findings indicated that students and teachers urgently needed innovative and interactive mathematics learning media. The PAKAR media was designed by integrating snakes and ladders games with lottery activities to create joyful and student-centered learning experiences based on constructivist theory. Expert validation results showed that the media was highly valid, with a score of 92.8 from the content expert and 94.7 from the construction expert. Therefore, the PAKAR media is considered highly feasible for implementation in elementary mathematics learning, particularly in division material.

Abstract

A conducive organizational climate in schools is an important factor in improving collaboration, teacher motivation, and the effectiveness of educational management. This study aims to analyze the role of inclusive leadership in building a conducive organizational climate at SD Negeri 2 Glapansari. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach to obtain an in-depth understanding of the principal’s inclusive leadership practices in creating a positive school organizational environment. The subjects of the study consisted of one principal, six teachers, one educational staff member, and two school committee members. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data was examined using source triangulation and technique triangulation, while data analysis applied the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the principal’s inclusive leadership played a significant role in establishing a conducive organizational climate through open communication, teacher involvement in decision-making, strengthening collaboration among school members, appreciation of diversity, and the creation of a harmonious working environment. Teachers felt valued, motivated, and actively involved in school programs due to the democratic and participatory leadership approach implemented by the principal. Furthermore, the positive interpersonal relationships and collaborative culture among school members contributed to a comfortable and supportive working atmosphere. Therefore, inclusive leadership can be considered an effective leadership approach in fostering a positive organizational climate and improving the effectiveness of educational management in elementary schools.

Abstract

Subjective well‑being (SWB) merupakan evaluasi individu terhadap kualitas hidupnya yang mencakup dimensi kognitif berupa kepuasan hidup serta dimensi afektif berupa emosi positif dan negatif. Pada sektor pelayanan publik seperti bidang rehabilitasi sosial, pegawai rentan mengalami kelelahan emosional akibat interaksi intensif dengan klien berkondisi traumatis. Kondisi ini berpotensi menurunkan SWB yang berdampak pada kualitas kinerja dan layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh intervensi mindful breathing terhadap peningkatan SWB pada pegawai Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Metode kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi‑eksperimental one‑group pretest‑posttest digunakan, melibatkan 11 pegawai yang dipilih secara sensus. Instrumen pengukuran berupa skala SWB (49 item, α = 0,899) dan skala mindfulness (56 item, α = 0,927) disusun berdasarkan kerangka teori Diener dan Baer. Intervensi mindful breathing diberikan selama dua pekan, 15–20 menit per sesi pada jam kerja. Analisis paired sample t‑test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan skor SWB (p = 0,006) dan skor mindfulness (p = 0,001) setelah intervensi. Seluruh partisipan mengalami kenaikan skor. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa mindful breathing merupakan intervensi sederhana, aplikatif, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis pegawai sektor publik. Praktik ini mudah diintegrasikan ke dalam rutinitas kerja dan berpotensi menjadi strategi pemulihan dari tekanan emosional, sehingga mendukung terciptanya lingkungan kerja yang lebih sehat dan produktif.

Abstract

Beginning reading literacy is an essential foundation for Indonesian language learning among first grade elementary students. However, classroom findings still indicate low early reading ability caused by limited learning media that are attractive, concrete, and suitable for children’s developmental characteristics. This study aims to examine the design of interactive puzzle media as a potential instructional innovation to support beginning reading literacy for first grade students. The article employed a literature review method by analyzing thirty relevant studies published in nationally accredited Sinta indexed journals. The analysis focused on design principles, major media components, interactive puzzle characteristics, and their effectiveness in supporting early literacy skills. The findings reveal that high quality interactive puzzles contain letter, syllable, and simple word components, supported by engaging visual elements and collaborative group activities that encourage student interaction. The synthesis also demonstrates that effective puzzle designs must emphasize simplicity, gradual difficulty levels, curriculum suitability, including the topic “My Different Friends,” and integration of cognitive and social aspects. Based on literature findings and needs analysis at SD Negeri Traju this study proposes a design expected to become a practical and valid reference for first grade learning media.

Abstract

Learning in elementary schools requires the development of 21st-century skills, one of which is collaboration, which serves as a foundation for students' social interaction (Maharani et al., 2024). This study aims to critically analyze the implementation of collaborative learning among first-grade elementary school students as well as the factors that influence it (Yubi et al., 2024). The method used is a literature review by analyzing various scientific journals relevant to the topic of student collaboration (’Ula et al., 2024). The results of the study indicate that collaborative learning can improve students' social skills, learning motivation, and conceptual understanding (Astria et al., 2025). However, its implementation still faces challenges such as students' limited communication skills and teachers' readiness in managing collaborative learning (Syarif, 2023). Social constructivism theory from Vygotsky and cognitive development theory from Piaget reinforce the importance of social interaction in the student learning process (Vygotsky, 1978). Therefore, well-planned instructional strategies that align with the characteristics of lower-grade students are needed to ensure that collaboration can be carried out optimally (Wahyuni & Muhibbin, 2024).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interactive media based on educational games on the reading literacy skills of fourth-grade Indonesian language students at PAB 2 Helvetia Private Elementary School. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental approach and a one-group pretest-posttest design. Thirteen students were selected using a saturated sampling technique. The instrument used was a reading literacy test based on indicators of finding information, understanding, evaluating, and reflecting. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and paired sample t-tests. The results showed that the average pretest score of 39.10 increased to 58.97 in the posttest. Normality and homogeneity tests indicated that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The paired sample t-test obtained a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect. Thus, interactive media based on educational games effectively improves students' reading literacy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how grit functions as a mediator in the relationship between entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial knowledge. This research employed a survey method with a quantitative approach. The sampling method used was simple random sampling, resulting in 100 respondents from various undergraduate study programs at Sebelas Maret University. Data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale with five response options. The statistical analysis tool used to test the mediation effect in this study was IBM SPSS Statistics 27 software. The findings indicate that students’ entrepreneurial intentions can be influenced by entrepreneurial knowledge, with grit acting as a mediating variable. To enhance and develop knowledge that encourages entrepreneurial intentions, higher education institutions or universities should improve the quality of teaching materials and teaching methods, while also focusing on enhancing both academic and psychological skills. In addition, universities should create a supportive environment for young entrepreneurs by emphasizing entrepreneurial values to foster the development of entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial intentions, and grit among students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe a child-friendly curriculum model oriented toward anti-bullying at MTs Dakwah Islamiyah Putra, Nurul Hakim Islamic Boarding School, West Lombok. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included teachers and students. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that Nurul Hakim Islamic Boarding School does not yet have a written child-friendly curriculum, but child-friendly educational principles have been implemented through a hidden curriculum within the boarding school culture and the daily lives of students. This implementation is evident through character education based on Islamic values, a humanistic parenting system, a child-friendly boarding school program, anti-bullying educational media, and a comfortable eco-boarding school environment. The dominant form of bullying found was verbal bullying through excessive joking between friends. Preventive efforts are carried out through character development, counseling, dormitory supervision, and regular anti-bullying outreach. This study concludes that the child-friendly curriculum model oriented toward anti-bullying at Nurul Hakim Islamic Boarding School is implemented through a religious, humanistic, and child-protection-based educational culture and has the potential to become a reference for other Islamic boarding schools.
