Abstract

The increasing competition in Indonesia's skincare industry encourages companies to implement integrated marketing communication strategies to strengthen brand awareness and create positive brand experiences. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) by PT Beeme Nusantara in building brand awareness and brand experience through its participation in the Indonesia Maternity, Baby & Kids Expo (IMBEX). This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the Marketing Team, Event Person in Charge (PIC), and Brand Representatives, supported by observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, while data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings indicate that PT Beeme Nusantara implemented an integrated IMC strategy through coordinated activities before, during, and after the event by combining advertising, social media, public relations, sales promotion, event marketing, direct marketing, mobile marketing, and personal selling. The implementation of these integrated communication activities contributed to improving brand awareness, reflected in brand recognition, brand recall, and the potential to achieve top-of-mind awareness. Furthermore, direct interactions during the event successfully created positive brand experiences through sensory, emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and relational dimensions. The study concludes that the effectiveness of IMC is determined not only by the use of multiple communication channels but also by the consistency of marketing messages and the integration of consumer experiences across all customer touchpoints. These findings contribute to the development of integrated marketing communication studies, particularly within the skincare industry targeting mothers and children.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship and influence of interpersonal communication on the conflict resolution abilities of Generation Z in RW03 Jatiwaringin. A descriptive quantitative method with an associative approach was employed. Data were collected via questionnaires distributed to 34 Gen Z respondents selected using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test and simple linear regression analysis via SPSS. The correlation analysis yielded a coefficient (r) of 0.701, indicating a very strong, significant positive relationship between the variables. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) test revealed that interpersonal communication accounts for 70.1% of the influence on Generation Z's conflict resolution, while the remaining 29.3% is attributed to factors outside the model. Based on the t-test results (8.532 > 2.037) with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, it is concluded that interpersonal communication has a significant partial effect on conflict resolution

Abstract

Instagram social media has become an effective digital communication platform for government institutions in delivering information to the public, including the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) through its Instagram account @kemnaker. This study aims to analyze how visual communication used on the @kemnaker Instagram account can increase audience engagement. Visual communication in this context includes design elements such as the use of color, typography, illustration, photography, and content layout. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. Data were collected through observation of Instagram content on @kemnaker, documentation of posts, and interviews with social media managers. The data analysis technique was conducted by identifying visual communication elements and relating them to engagement levels such as likes, comments, shares, and saves. The results show that consistent, informative, and visually appealing communication plays an important role in increasing user interaction. Content with simple yet communicative design tends to be easier to understand and receives higher responses from audiences. In addition, the use of infographic formats and visual storytelling has proven to be more effective in attracting Instagram users' attention. Thus, it can be concluded that visual communication significantly contributes to increasing engagement on the @kemnaker Instagram account. Therefore, social media managers should continue to optimize visual design strategies in delivering public information.

Abstract

The rapid development of social media, particularly YouTube, has influenced adolescents’ communication patterns through the widespread use of slang in everyday interactions. One notable phenomenon is the use of slang in marathon content on the @YB YouTube channel, which has become popular among teenagers as a means of self-expression, identity formation, and social bonding. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of slang language usage in marathon content on the @YB YouTube channel and its role in shaping the self-identity of Grade XI F1 students at Sandikta Senior High School. This research employs a qualitative approach using the phenomenological method within a constructivist paradigm. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving students who met the research criteria. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The expected findings indicate that the use of slang is influenced by the intensity of watching marathon content on the @YB YouTube channel, peer interactions, and digital communication culture. Furthermore, slang functions not only as a communication tool but also as a medium for developing self-identity, strengthening group solidarity, and expressing adolescents’ social identities in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aims to identify, analyze, and describe the types of conflict, the causes of conflict, and the effects of conflict found in the novel Call It What You Want. This research employs Stanton’s theory of conflict, using a descriptive qualitative method and the intrinsic approach proposed by Wellek and Warren. Based on the results of the data analysis, two types of conflict were identified: internal conflict and external conflict. Conflict is one of the essential elements that construct a story; therefore, this study focuses on examining both internal and external conflicts. The findings reveal that the internal conflicts experienced by Sloane, the main character, include conflicts of emotion, thought, and inner struggle. Meanwhile, the external conflicts involve disputes between Sloane and Ethan, Sloane and Jordan and Lauren, Sloane and Graham, and Sloane and Reese.

Abstract

Physical work environment conditions in maintaining employee performance at PT Prolintas Transutama Logistik. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method. Data collection was conducted through non-formal field observations and semi-structured interviews with 9 internal informants. The results indicate that OHS program implementation is not yet optimal, as indicated by an increasing trend in work incidents and a gap in fulfilling field Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), specifically a shortage of safety helmets and dust masks. On the other hand, the physical work environment experiences infrastructure constraints in the form of a deficit in office air conditioning (AC) units, leading to thermal discomfort, and limited operational manifest printers, causing long queues for printing Bill of Lading (B/L) documents. The accumulation of suboptimal safety guarantees and physical infrastructure discomfort directly implies reduced focus, job stress, and delays in customs clearance. Consequently, cargo distribution timeliness is disrupted, triggering customer complaints and causing annual sales turnover to fluctuate below the 100% target. Management is advised to accelerate PPE procurement, maintain office AC units, and add manifest printers.

Abstract

The emergence of personal shopping services (jastip) in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) has become a practical solution to the limited access of students (santri) to goods outside the boarding school environment. However, this convenience not only facilitates the fulfillment of daily needs but also has the potential to encourage consumptive behavior. This study aims to analyze how the phenomenon of jastip shapes the consumptive behavior of santri, examine the decision-making process underlying their use of jastip within the context of the simplicity values upheld in pesantren, and explore the meaning of jastip from the perspective of the students. This study employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Five santri were selected as research informants using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data credibility was ensured through source triangulation. The findings reveal that jastip has become the primary alternative for obtaining goods unavailable within the pesantren. The ease of access provided by jastip also increases the likelihood of consumptive behavior, influenced by peer groups, consumption trends, and the convenience of acquiring products. Nevertheless, most participants considered product usefulness, financial capability, and the values of simplicity before making purchasing decisions. From the perspective of the Theory of Planned Behavior, the consumptive decision-making process of santri is influenced by attitudes toward the use of jastip, subjective norms derived from the social environment, and perceived behavioral control reflected in their ability to regulate spending. This study concludes that jastip plays a dual role: it serves as an effective means of fulfilling students' needs while simultaneously creating the potential for consumptive behavior if not accompanied by adequate self-control and the internalization of the values of simplicity promoted within the pesantren environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality and brand trust on consumers' purchase intention toward Kahf men's personal care products in Bima City. The research employed a quantitative approach with an associative design to examine the relationships among the variables. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling, consisting of consumers aged 18 years and above who had previously purchased and used Kahf products. The collected data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation and determination coefficient analysis, as well as t-tests and F-tests. The findings indicate that product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention (β = 0.218, p < 0.001), while brand trust also has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention (β = 0.669, p < 0.001). Simultaneously, product quality and brand trust significantly influence purchase intention, with an F-value of 99.509 (p < 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.672) indicates that 67.2% of the variation in purchase intention is explained by the two independent variables. These findings suggest that improving product quality and strengthening consumer trust in the Kahf brand are essential strategies for increasing consumers' purchase intention in the men's personal care market.

Abstract

Digital innovation has become a strategic priority for educational transformation worldwide, particularly in countries seeking to establish knowledge-based economies. Qatar has demonstrated remarkable progress in integrating digital technologies into its education system through comprehensive national policies, substantial investments in educational infrastructure, and the promotion of innovative teaching and learning practices. This study explores the role of digital innovation in transforming education in Qatar by examining its contributions to teaching effectiveness, student engagement, institutional management, and educational sustainability. Using a qualitative library research approach, the study synthesizes findings from peer-reviewed journal articles, policy documents, and international reports related to educational digitalization. The findings indicate that digital innovation enhances learning accessibility, strengthens teachers' digital competencies, supports personalized learning, and improves institutional efficiency through data-driven decision-making. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including unequal digital competencies, cybersecurity concerns, technological infrastructure disparities, and the need for continuous professional development. The study concludes that successful educational transformation requires not only advanced technologies but also supportive leadership, inclusive educational policies, and sustained investment in human capital. Qatar's experience provides valuable insights for other countries pursuing digital transformation in education while maintaining quality, equity, and long-term sustainability
