Abstract

Distribution is an important aspect of the operational activities of a portable PlayStation rental business because it directly affects operational costs and the quality of customer service. JapraPS, as a portable PlayStation rental business, serves customers across several areas in Jayapura City, each with different distribution requirements. This study aims to optimize the distribution costs of JapraPS's portable PlayStation rental services using the Vogel's Approximation Method (VAM). The research data were obtained from JapraPS's portable PlayStation rental transaction records during the May 2026 period, which include supply, demand, and distribution cost data for each service area. The VAM method was employed to determine the distribution allocation that minimizes costs while satisfying all customer demands. The results indicate that the optimal distribution allocation is achieved by distributing 36 transactions from Bibsy Warehouse to the Kotaraja area, 27 transactions from JapraPS Warehouse to the Entrop area, 18 transactions from Bibsy Warehouse to the Jayapura area, and 28 transactions from JapraPS Warehouse to the Jayapura area. Based on the calculation results, the minimum total distribution cost obtained during the study period was IDR 4,190,000. These findings demonstrate that the Vogel's Approximation Method can be utilized as a decision-support tool to optimize the distribution of portable PlayStation rental services, thereby reducing operational costs more efficiently.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) often face challenges in determining the optimal production quantity due to their limited resources. One such problem is experienced by Cendrawasih Art Printing, which produces stamps and signboards under constraints related to raw materials and production time. This study aims to optimize production profits by applying the Linear Programming method using a graphical approach supported by QM for Windows software. The research data were obtained through direct observation and interviews with the business owner to collect information regarding profit per unit of product, raw material requirements, and available working time capacity. The decision variables in this study consist of the production quantities of stamps (X₁) and signboards (X₂), with the objective function aimed at maximizing profit subject to various available resource constraints. The results indicate that the optimal production combination is 20 units of stamps and 5 units of signboards per week, yielding a maximum profit of IDR 950,000. The calculations using the graphical method and their verification through QM for Windows produced consistent solutions, thereby confirming the accuracy of the model employed. Sensitivity analysis further reveals that the availability of stamp handles and production time are the primary constraints affecting optimal profit. Therefore, the Linear Programming method using a graphical approach can serve as an effective decision-support tool for MSME owners in determining efficient production strategies and maximizing business profits.

Abstract

Distribusi barang yang efisien menjadi faktor kunci dalam profitabilitas perusahaan, terutama pada sektor logistik dengan biaya pengiriman fluktuatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan Metode Transportasi North West Corner (NWC) untuk mengoptimalkan biaya distribusi barang elektronik di Gudang Senyum 5000 yang melayani Toko Cabang Doyo dan Toko Borobudur. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif analitis dengan menerapkan algoritma NWC untuk menentukan solusi layak awal pada masalah transportasi seimbang. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terstruktur, observasi lapangan, dan dokumentasi manifest pengiriman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode NWC menghasilkan total biaya distribusi sebesar Rp 35.000.000 untuk pengiriman 100 unit per bulan. Alokasi yang dihasilkan terdiri dari 50 unit dari Gudang Senyum 5000 ke Toko Cabang Doyo, 25 unit dari Gudang Senyum 5000 ke Toko Borobudur, dan 25 unit dari Gudang Lain ke Toko Borobudur. Analisis komparatif dengan biaya aktual (estimasi Rp 40.600.000) menunjukkan efisiensi biaya sebesar Rp 5.600.000 atau 13,79% per bulan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah metode NWC efektif menghasilkan solusi layak awal yang lebih hemat, namun masih memerlukan uji optimalitas lanjutan menggunakan metode Stepping Stone atau MODI untuk mencapai solusi optimal. Saran penelitian selanjutnya adalah melakukan uji optimalitas dan membandingkan NWC dengan metode lain seperti Least Cost Method atau Vogel's Approximation Method.

Abstract

The increasing demand for refill drinking water has encouraged water depots to improve the efficiency of their distribution systems in order to reduce operational costs. Depot Air Minum Ummi in Jayapura serves various customer locations, including households, offices, kiosks, and project areas, with varying daily demand levels. This study aims to apply the North West Corner (NWC) method to determine the initial optimal allocation of gallon water deliveries and minimize transportation costs. The research employed a quantitative approach using a transportation optimization model. Data were collected through direct observation and interviews at Depot Air Minum Ummi, including supply capacity, customer demand, transportation costs, and distribution destinations. The North West Corner method was used to allocate shipments from two delivery sources to two destination areas, namely Hamadi and Entrop. The results showed that the initial allocation consisted of 50 gallons delivered by Delivery Agent 1 to Hamadi, 15 gallons delivered by Delivery Agent 2 to Hamadi, and 35 gallons delivered by Delivery Agent 2 to Entrop. Based on this allocation, the total transportation cost was calculated at Rp 6,950. The findings indicate that the North West Corner method can provide a feasible and efficient initial solution for transportation cost minimization. Therefore, the method can be applied as a decision-support tool in planning gallon water distribution, although further optimization methods may be used to obtain a more optimal solution.

Abstract

Optimasi produksi merupakan strategi penting dalam meningkatkan keuntungan usaha dengan mempertimbangkan keterbatasan sumber daya yang tersedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kombinasi produksi optimal pada Warung Walkot Jayapura menggunakan metode Linear Programming dengan teknik Simpleks Maksimum berbantuan QM for Windows. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang meliputi jenis produk, harga jual, kebutuhan bahan baku, serta kapasitas produksi. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi produksi optimal yaitu Bakso Biasa (X1) sebanyak 75,5 porsi dan Bakso Isi Telur (X3) sebanyak 12 porsi, sedangkan Bakso Urat (X2) tidak masuk dalam solusi optimal. Keuntungan maksimum yang diperoleh berdasarkan hasil perhitungan adalah sebesar Rp2.072.500. Penerapan metode Simpleks dapat membantu Warung Walkot dalam menentukan jumlah produksi yang lebih efektif serta mengoptimalkan penggunaan bahan baku untuk meningkatkan keuntungan usaha

Abstract

Distribusi telur merupakan salah satu aktivitas penting dalam rantai pasok produk pangan yang memerlukan pengelolaan biaya transportasi secara efisien. Gudang Pak Aji Sakur memiliki dua pusat distribusi, yaitu Gudang Entrop dan Gudang Kloofkamp, yang melayani pengiriman telur ke beberapa lokasi tujuan di Kota Jayapura, yaitu Dok 9, APO, dan Hamadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan biaya transportasi distribusi telur menggunakan metode Least Cost (LC). Data yang digunakan meliputi biaya pengiriman dari setiap gudang ke masing-masing tujuan, kapasitas pasokan (supply), dan jumlah permintaan (demand). metode Least Cost diterapkan dengan mengalokasikan pengiriman terlebih dahulu pada jalur yang memiliki biaya transportasi terendah hingga seluruh permintaan terpenuhi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alokasi optimal diperoleh dengan pengiriman dari Gudang Kloofkamp ke APO sebanyak 30 ikat dan Dok 9 sebanyak 15 ikat, serta dari Gudang Entrop ke Hamadi sebanyak 50 ikat dan Dok 9 sebanyak 25 ikat. Total biaya transportasi yang dihasilkan sebesar Rp1.490.000. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa metode Least Cost mampu memberikan solusi distribusi yang efisien dan dapat digunakan sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam perencanaan distribusi telur untuk meminimalkan biaya operasional perusahaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan keuntungan penjualan Sagu Ma'Pen menggunakan metode Program Linear dengan pendekatan grafik berbantuan aplikasi QM for Windows. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan pemilik usaha untuk memperoleh data terkait kegiatan penjualan, kapasitas pembuatan, kapasitas pembungkusan, dan tingkat keuntungan. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diformulasikan ke dalam model program linear yang terdiri atas fungsi tujuan dan fungsi kendala, selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan metode grafik dan aplikasi QM for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa solusi optimal diperoleh dengan memproduksi produk X sebanyak 6 unit dan produk Y sebanyak 6 unit, sehingga menghasilkan keuntungan maksimum sebesar Rp43.200.000. Hasil analisis sensitivitas menunjukkan bahwa solusi optimal tetap stabil pada rentang perubahan tertentu dari koefisien keuntungan dan kapasitas sumber daya. Selain itu, analisis dual menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas pembungkusan memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap peningkatan keuntungan dibandingkan kapasitas pembuatan. Dengan demikian, penerapan Program Linear metode grafik berbasis QM for Windows terbukti efektif dalam membantu pengambilan keputusan, meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan sumber daya, serta memaksimalkan keuntungan usaha Sagu Ma'Pen.

Abstract

Air minum merupakan kebutuhan pokok masyarakat sehingga distribusinya perlu dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien untuk menekan biaya operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan biaya transportasi distribusi air minum isi ulang pada Depot Diamond 74 dan Jaya Parti menggunakan Vogel's Approximation Method (VAM). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif terapan dengan data primer berupa data pasokan (supply), permintaan (demand), dan biaya distribusi pada setiap rute pengiriman. Analisis dilakukan dengan menyusun matriks transportasi berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, kemudian menentukan solusi distribusi menggunakan metode VAM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total pasokan sebesar 16 galon per hari sama dengan total permintaan sebesar 16 galon per hari, sehingga model transportasi berada dalam kondisi seimbang (balanced transportation problem). Pola distribusi yang diperoleh yaitu Depot A (Diamond 74) mendistribusikan 6 galon ke BPN dan 3 galon ke Kejaksaan, sedangkan Depot B (Jaya Parti) mendistribusikan 5 galon ke Dinas Pendidikan dan 2 galon ke Kejaksaan. Total biaya distribusi minimum yang dihasilkan adalah sebesar Rp850.000 per hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode VAM efektif dalam menentukan pola distribusi yang efisien sehingga dapat membantu menekan biaya transportasi dan meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan distribusi pada usaha depot air minum isi ulang.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed educational systems worldwide, including the field of Islamic education. Digital transformation has reshaped teaching and learning processes by integrating online platforms, artificial intelligence, learning management systems, mobile learning, and interactive digital resources into educational practices. This literature review aims to examine the global development of digital Islamic education and explore its implications for twenty-first-century learning. The study employs a literature review approach by analyzing scholarly publications, policy documents, and empirical studies related to digital learning, Islamic education, educational technology, and contemporary pedagogical innovations. The findings indicate that digital Islamic education has expanded learning accessibility, promoted flexible learning environments, facilitated global knowledge exchange, and enhanced learner engagement. However, challenges remain regarding digital literacy, technological infrastructure, educational equity, data privacy, and the preservation of Islamic values within digital environments. The review highlights the importance of integrating technological innovation with Islamic educational principles to create effective, inclusive, and value-oriented learning ecosystems. Future directions emphasize personalized learning, artificial intelligence integration, and the development of sustainable digital educational frameworks that support lifelong learning in Muslim communities worldwide.

Abstract

Hospitals are work environments with high levels of occupational safety and health risks for medical and non-medical personnel, requiring the implementation of Hospital Occupational Health and Safety (K3RS) management through the application of risk management and preparedness in dealing with emergency situations.This study used a descriptive quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach.The research subjects consisted of 120 respondents, including medical and non-medical personnel, who were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed univariately. The implementation of risk management was mostly in the good category, although there were still obstacles in the consistency of incident reporting and the application of ergonomic principles in the work environment. The level of preparedness of medical and non-medical personnel was also mostly in the good category, as indicated by their understanding of hazard reporting mechanisms, risk documentation, and emergency response procedures. Respondent characteristics such as length of service and education level also influenced the implementation of K3RS. The implementation of risk management and preparedness has been good, but still needs improvement through strengthening the reporting culture, continuous monitoring, and improving workplace ergonomics.
