Abstract

The High-End Tumbler product is a premium version of a drinking cup, but the presence of competitors with low-end versions makes consumers switch because it has the same function at an affordable price. This study aimed to determine the effect of e-wom and brand image on the purchase intention of high-end tumblers, both simultaneously and partially. This type of research is quantitative, with the unit of analysis being high-end tumbler purchase intention users in DKI Jakarta. Data collection used a questionnaire distributed to 100 high-end tumbler purchase intention users in DKI Jakarta. They were testing the data using validity, reliability, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression. The results of the study prove that all data are declared valid and reliable. In addition, all classical assumption tests are met. Multiple linear regression testing proves that e-wom and brand image affect the purchase intention of high-end tumblers, both simultaneously and partially.

Abstract

The convenience of doing business in the modern period has changed many things, including the ease of purchasing and selling. By connecting impulsive online shopping behavior with the big five personalities, we aim to discover the truth about it. Responses from 94 young online users in various areas of Jakarta were evaluated using structural equation modeling. We used a random sampling method, and the variables were evaluated using a 5-point Likert scale. The present study discovered that the big-five personality traits are not as strongly associated with online impulsive buying: conscientiousness and neuroticism were a stronger driver of online impulse buying, while extraversion, agreeableness, and openness to experience were statistically insignificant.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize shelf display management in the fashion retail industry to cater to the evolving needs and desires of consumers for specific products. With the ever-expanding range of fashion items available in retail stores, the limited space on display shelves poses a significant challenge. Additionally, trendy, and high-demand fashion products often experience quick sell-outs, necessitating frequent restocking. Effective management of shelf displays is pivotal in enhancing consumer satisfaction and stimulating impulse purchases by maximizing product visibility and exposure. In the realm of fashion retail, shelf display management can be broadly categorized into macro and micro levels, encompassing strategic overall layout and precise product allocation within specific fashion categories. However, these approaches heavily rely on the availability of demand and transaction data, which can be challenging for small and medium-sized fashion enterprises with limited data resources. This literature review underscores the research opportunities for optimizing shelf display management, particularly in the context of fashion retail businesses facing data limitations. It recognizes that through thoughtful facility layout design, coupled with suitable adjustments and modifications, the challenges associated with shelf displays in fashion retail stores can be effectively addressed.

Despite the potential benefits it offers to the development of small and medium firms, capital budgeting facilitates crucial decision-making processes pertaining to investments, long-term planning, and investment assessment for business owners. The practical implication of this study suggests that owners of small and medium firms should consider enhancing their financial knowledge or seeking professional experience in the areas of finance and management.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate corruption in Indonesia, a country where corruption is regarded as one of the immoral practices within organizations. Upon reviewing the existing body of study literature, it has been shown that a contributing factor to unethical behavior among managers is the influence imposed by organizations to attain success in meeting targets and budgets. This study examines the correlation between individuals' budgeting practices and their profit planning strategies. Negative human behaviors can potentially lead managers to engage in unethical conduct to attain high performance and meet ambitious targets.  One potential approach entails granting management the flexibility to reassess the budget during the current fiscal year, alleviating the workload imposed by the company and mitigating unethical behaviors.

An optimal system is a system that can be used easily by users, if users cannot use the system, then there will be system failure because the data generated will be biased and invalid. Suppose the user has difficulty operating the system. In this case, it is better to immediately evaluate in the form of input and training to further improve the skills of users who use it.
