Abstract

The background of this study is the influence of storytelling methods on listening skills of group B children of Pertiwi VIII Kindergarten, Simpung Layung Village, Muara Uya District, Tabalong Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of storytelling methods on listening skills of group B children of Pertiwi VIII Kindergarten, Simpung Layung Village, Muara Uya District, Tabalong Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research with a Pre-Experimental approach using One Group Pretest-Posttest design. This study used a sample of 10 group B children. The instruments used are observation sheets and check lists. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and documentation techniques while data analysis in this study used SPSS 22. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that there was an influence of the storytelling method on the listening skills of group B children of Pertiwi VIII Kindergarten, Simpung Layung Village, Muara Uya District, Tabalong Regency. This can be seen after treatment to children three times, children can listen attentively, interpret, and can understand meaning.In addition, it is evident from the results of the analysis of the Statistical Paired Sample Test test with a sig value (2-tailed) result of 0.036<0.05 which means that Ho's hypothesis is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of storytelling methods on the listening skills of group B children of Pertiwi VIII Kindergarten, Simpung Layung Village, Muara Uya District, Tabalong Regency.

Abstract

Lately, we have encountered a lot of character decline, such as a lack of understanding of courtesy to parents. This is of great concern to early childhood educators because character values should be instilled from an early age so that good character is realized in accordance with the values adopted by the Indonesian nation. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with 14 children in Kindergarten B at the Bina Insan Sejahtera School, Banjarmasin as subjects. Researchers collected data using the method of observation, interviews with the teacher concerned and documentation. The results of this study are, with the method of telling the story of Prophet Musa AS, it can develop AUD characters. This can be seen that children have good character in terms of character and good morals.

Abstract

Numeracy are two skills that develop from an early age and become important factors that determine academic success later in life. Children demonstrate basic critical, creative, and collaborative thinking skills. Children can recognize and see relationships between patterns, symbols and data, and can use them to solve problems in everyday life. Numeracy skills in early childhood are also related to basic problem-solving abilities and the application of mathematics in everyday life. Not just number counting skills, but also includes algebraic thinking, geometry, measurement, data analysis and chance. The knowledge, skills, behaviors, and tendencies a person needs to be able to use math in a variety of situations. The knowledge, skills, behaviors, and tendencies a person needs to be able to use math in a variety of situations. Numeration refers to the basics of mathematical reasoning acquired at an early age. This study examines numeracy intelligence through pairing activities. The subjects of this study were group A children in PAUD Terpadu Plus Al-karimah as many as 16 children.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the social emotional development of early childhood. Social emotional development of a person begins when he is born into the world and is an important process in a child's life. This research uses qualitative research with Library Research approach.The problems of social-emotional development of early childhood that vary from difficulty socializing with others to excessive emotions when living socially are things that need to be considered so that continuity in life runs normally and accordingly. This is a lot of learning processes that do not encourage the progress of social emotional development of early childhood.Social-emotional development is one of the developments that should not be forgotten in addition to other developmental developments for early childhood. Because the true social-emotional development of a person stars from birth, so it is necessary for an educator to stimulate and support social-emotional development so that it is optimal.Humans grow and develop in a social environment, they interact with the environment. In this process of integration and interaction, emotional factors play an important role. This process is a process that places the child as a person who actively socializes and controls emotions.

Abstract

Generation Z is a generation that has a different character from the previous generation, namely multitasking, meaning they can do several jobs at one time. Generation Z is also known as the digital generation. Because this generation was born in the rapid development of technology, since childhood, generation Z children have been introduced to technology, if in the past the game was through physical form, this generation Z played through technology media. The more often they play and interact with technology media, the more likely they will be more dependent on technology, this will have negative and positive impacts. These negative and positive impacts will shape the character of children from Generation Z. The purpose of this study is to get to know more about Generation Z, namely the generation born in 1995-2000. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a Library Research approach. Through this research, it can be concluded that Generation Z is a generation that is close to digital technology, so the use of digital space as a teaching tool is important to do.

Abstract

Play activities are children's activities that are carried out throughout the day because for children play is life and life is a game. Early childhood does not distinguish between playing, learning, and working. Children really enjoy the game and always do it wherever they have the opportunity. This study aims to provide data or information as one of the theoretical references to various parties who are competent in early childhood letter recognition research. The playing method carried out in this study used sand and plasticine media. Sand is a small grain that is malleable and fun for children. Plasticine is a toy dough made of flour so that it becomes a soft object so that it can be kneaded, pulled, pressed, and can be shaped according to the child's imagination. Activities using play media can meet all aspects of child development.

Abstract

A person's low level of independence will become an obstacle for him in living his life in the future. So, it is important for parents to train and instill independence in their children from an early age. The aim of this research is to determine the role of parents in forming and instilling independence in children from an early age, as well as to find out the obstacles faced by parents in forming children's independence from an early age. The subjects in this research were parents who work as traders and have children aged 4-6 years, as well as children aged 4-6 years who live in Batang Kulur Kiri Village. The approach used in this research is qualitative and is a case study type of research. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this research, the parents in Batang Kulur Village who are the subjects of this research have succeeded in instilling and forming their children into independent individuals. This independence is instilled from an early age, starting with providing a good example, providing training and guidance, and continuing with providing habituation. The obstacle faced by parents in instilling independence in children is the lack of cooperation between the two parents or between parents and other parties not to spoil the child. Apart from that, there is a lazy attitude in children, as well as advances in technology and mass media are also obstacles in instilling independence in children

Abstract

School TK. Widya Dharma have student various religions, namely Islam, Christianity, Catholicism and Buddha . School this in development emphasized religious aspects in 2 ( two ) dimensions religious , that is first child age early very important introduced about religion for children internalized deep religious values worship. Second , child implanted nature tolerance religion ever since early so that the child already used to with attitude tolerance fellow her friend although different religion. Therefore, researchers conducted research namely: How is the implementation of religious learning? . The research uses a qualitative method of field research approach (field research) with interview techniques, observation and documentation. The subjects in this study were Islamic religious teachers. While the object of this research is the implementation of religious learning The results of the research are that the implementation of religious learning in this school is given exclusively according to the religion of each child once a week, including; faith, prayer/way of worship, prayers, reading and understanding religious scriptures, religious songs or hymns, introducing fasting and introducing the days of worship or religious anniversaries of each. The way to implement the planting of religious tolerance is through several activities including introducing the nature of religious tolerance and enabling children to experience the benefits of religious tolerance.

Abstract

The changes to the Merdeka Belajar Curriculums that are currently being widely discussed have a big influence on changes in learning carried out by teachers. Even though curriculum changes often occur, in reality there are still many teachers who are not ready for these changes. This research aims to find teachers' strategies in dealing with the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculums, especially in early childhood education institutions. This research is of a qualitative type with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources used in this research are kindergarten teachers who have implemented the Merdeka Belajar curriculums as well as several supporting documents such as research journals related to the Merdeka Belajar curriculums. The results of this research are that the strategies that teachers can apply in facing the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar curriculums are by purchasing several independent learning books, adding educational game tools, attending various seminars, workshops, webinars related to the Merdeka Belajar curriculums, interacting frequently with colleagues and read information related to the Merdeka Belajar curriculums from print media, the internet, and from teacher WhatsApp groups

Abstract

This research aims to determine the habituation of clean and healthy living behavior to prevent disease in children at Pertiwi Pamekasan Kindergarten. Where many children do not go to school because of illness, such as flu, fever and others. So this PHBS refraction is very important to implement in Pertiwi Kindergarten. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The informants in this study were 1 school principal, 4 teachers and 1 parent. The data collection method was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques, while the data analysis techniques in this research were data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this research show that the application of clean and healthy living behavior to prevent disease in children that is implemented in this kindergarten is throwing rubbish in the right place and washing hands with soap and running water. In this refraction, the school principal acts as a facilitator who facilitates facilities and infrastructure. Teachers act as motivators, mentors, role models and directors for children to implement PHBS in the school environment. Meanwhile, parents act as directors and mentors when the child is in the home environment. There are several factors in this refraction, including limited adequate facilities and infrastructure, such as not having a water tap and only having 1 trash can and no waste selection. So the principal at TK Pertiwi Pamekasan needs to pay attention to this PHBS refraction so that fewer children contract the disease
