Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by a child who experiences the development of fine motor skills that are different from other children, so the teacher starts implement a dynamic assessment strategy. The purpose of this study is to describe how the teacher implements a dynamic assessment strategy based on fine motor development in children in KB Mutiara Ummi Kalasan. The research method used in this study uses interview techniques and documentation studies. Then the data were analyzed using Miles & Huberman analysis. The results show that the form of research used by the teacher concerned for children with the initials AA is the form of an observation checklist and portfolio worksheets. Children who have the initials AA have experienced fine motor development gradually, and the level of development of children is in the stage of developing (MB).Keywords: dynamic assessment, development, fine motor skills AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh seorang anak yang mengalami perkembangan kemampuan motorik halus yang berbeda dengan anak lainnya, sehingga guru mulai mengimplementasikan strategi asesmen dinamis. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana guru mengimplementasikan strategi asesmen dinamis berbasis perkembangan motorik halus pada anak di KB Mutiara Ummi Kalasan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan analisis Miles & Huberman. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa bentuk penelitian yang digunakan oleh guru yang bersangkutan untuk anak yang berinisial AA ialah bentuk penilaian observasi checklist dan lembar kerja portofolio. Anak yang berinisial AA telah mengalami perkembangan motorik halus secara bertahap, dan tingkat perkembangan anak berada pada tahap mulai berkembang (MB).Kata Kunci: asesmen dinamis, perkembangan, motorik halus.

Abstract

The increasingly number of integrated Early Childhood Education institutions, requires Early Childhood Education managers to be more observant and sensitive in improving the quality of education, both in terms of teacher competence, infrastructure and learning processes that are of selling value. In this study, Early Childhood Education managers are required to improve the competence and professionalism of human resources. This study aims to find out how Integrated Early Childhood Education Institution Mutiara Bantul develops the competence of educators through human resource development program. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. In this study, data were collected using interviews and documentation. The results of this study state that to develop the competence of educators through human resource development program, Early Childhood Education Institution Mutiara  has implemented a variety of programs, namely a) trading educators to Integrated Early Childhood Education Institution, b) Advanced Studies and c) facilitating educators by involving educators into various Early Childhood Education teacher competency training.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh seorang anak yang mengalami perkembangan kemampuan motorik halus yang berbeda dengan anak lainnya, sehingga guru mulai mengimplementasikan strategi asesmen dinamis. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana guru mengimplementasikan strategi asesmen dinamis berbasis perkembangan motorik halus pada anak di KB Mutiara Ummi Kalasan. Abstract

Abstract: The emergence of Islamic education schools has become a trend nowadays in Indonesia. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Islamic Junior High School and Senior High School, Madrasah Aliyah even Integrated Islamic Kindergarten and Raudhatul Athfal and Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal (ABA) Kindergarten are widely known among the community. Many parents choose Islamic early childhood education to be their main choice. This study aims to explore why Islamic education needs to be internalized in early childhood. This study was conducted from 19 July 2019 to 20 August 2019 in some cities in Indonesia. A purposeful sampling method was used to select ten eligible participants. Data were collected through face-to-face, semistructured interviews and were analyzed using the conventional content analysis approach. Two categories emerged from the qualitative data including “creating Islamic environment,” and “the program offered is interesting”. According to the results, although the participants decided to choose the Islamic education for their children by selecting the Islamic school, they should consider that they must internalize the Islamic education in family by being role model for their children.

Abstract

Generasi alpa yang lahir setelah tahun 2010, merupakan generasi yang paling cerdas dalam penggunaan teknologi. Hal ini dikarenakan generasi alpa tumbuh dengan teknologi digital. Minimnya literasi digital individu jika tidak diawasi dan tidak diarahkan dengan benar akan menyebabkan penyimpangan, terkhusus dalam dunia pendidikan. Sehingga literasi digital ditanamkan ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan. Orang tua dan pendidik di sekolah dituntut untuk menggunakan teknologi untuk mengenalkan dan menggunakan literasi pada usia dini ke dalam pembelajaran. Maka pendidik juga harus menerapkan literasi digital ke dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu media pembelajaran digital untuk meningkatkan literasi digital yaitu Edpuzzle. Penelitian ini menggali bagaimana media digital Edpuzzle yang bersifat komunikatif interaktif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi digital anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan media digital Edpuzzle untuk pendidikan anak usia dini. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui ceklis observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis secara kuantitatif deskriptif dan juga secara kualitatif. Langkah-langkah dari penelitian ini ialah (1) analisis kebutuhan materi pembelajaran dan peta konsep untuk tema Alat Transportasi bagi anak usia dini generasi alpa, (2) kemudian mengembangkan produk dengan prosedur Research and Development (Penelitian dan Pengembangan) dalam bentuk Video MP4 bertema Alat Transportasi yang diupload ke situs Edpuzzle dengan menambahkan audiovisual dan voiceoverdalam bentuk tanya-jawab (kominikatif-interaktif) kepada anak di sela durasi video (3) mengadakan pretest pada 4 anak usia 4-5 tahun, (4) ujicoba (5) analisis data. Untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi digital anak dalam penelitian ini, maka peneliti menggunakan hasil karya anak dan metode tanya jawab. Berdasarkan hasil temuan, melalui Edpuzzle, kemampuan literasi digital anak meningkat dalam mengolah, memproses maupun mengomunikasikan informasi.

Abstract

Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan mengalami hujan berturut turut selama 14 hari dengan intensitas tinggi mengakibatkan bencana alam. Fenomena ini menimbulkan banjir, longsor, hilangnya pemukiman warga, gugurnya korban jiwa serta rusaknya lingkungan dan fasilitas umum. Sebanyak 10 dari 13 Kabupaten/ Kota terdampak banjir di Kalimantan Selatan. Selain orang dewasa yang menjadi korban, anak-anak juga menjadi kelompok masyarakat yang paling banyak terkena dampak segi materil dan juga dari segi psikologis/ traumatis.  Berlatar belakang tersebut maka peneliti tertarik untuk mengadakan kegiatan mitigasi bencana pada anak usia dini melalui kegiatan sains, video edukasi dan juga praktik simulasi bencana alam. Kegiatan ini bertujuan agar anak dapat mampu memahami dan mengurangi risiko bencana alam banjir dengan menjaga lingkungan dan sejenisnya. Kemudian anak diharapkan mampu menanggulangi bencana alam dengan menyelamatkan diri. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 1 kali dengan memberikan materi pembelajaran melalui kegiatan sains, menunjukkan video edukasi dan mendampingi praktik simulasi dalam penanganan bencana. Hasil dari kegiatan ini ialah anak mampu memahami proses terjadinya hujan, penyebab timbulnya banjir maupun cara menjaga kelestarian lingkungan yang aman dari banjir dan anak mampu mempraktikan cara menyelematkan diri dari bencana setelah sebelumnya diberikan pengetahuan tentang mitigasi bencana.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how “chicks games” can be a game to demonstrate children’s speaking skill. In this research, the children are about aged 5-6 years. Qualitative approach is chosen with the research subjects is 20 of 1st graders of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Ashriyah at Banjarmasin. Interviews, observation, and documentation were implemented in this research. While the technique used in data analysis is using interactive models from Miles and Huberman. The stages of data collection from Miles and Huberman are the data reduction stage, the data display stage, and the data analysis conclusion stage. The results of this study state that the teacher provides the opportunity for children to demonstrate English language skills by repetition methods, playing methods and singing methods. These three things are in line with the nature of children where children will more easily grasp learning.

Abstract

Adanya permasalahan tentang pengenalan warna,dari 8 anak hanya 2 anak yang mampu berkembang sesuai harapan dalam mengenal warna dan terdapat 6 anak yang masih keliru dalam menyebut, menunjuk dan mengelompokkan warna. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengembangan kemampuan mengenal warna menggunakan metode bermain dan bernyanyi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, adalah salah satu jenis penelitian tindakan yang dilakukan guru untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dikelas. Metode desain penelitian oleh Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang dilakukan secara bersiklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Kemampuan mengenal warna dari siklus I ke siklus II dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode bermain dan bernyanyi. Secara keseluruhan, total anak yang mendapatkan kriteria berkembang sesuai harapan dan berkembang sangat baik mencapai persentase 75%. Ini sudah mencapai ketuntasan indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan oleh peneliti yaitu 75% dari keseluruhan anak dapat berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH) atau maksimal Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). There are problems regarding color recognition, out of 8 children only 2 children are able to develop as expected in recognizing colors and there are 6 children who are still wrong in calling, pointing and grouping colors. This study aims to improve the development of the ability to recognize colors using the method of playing and singing. This research is classroom action research, which is a type of action research conducted by teachers to improve the quality of classroom learning. The research design method by Kemmis and Mc Taggart was carried out in cycles. Data collection techniques used observation sheets and documentation. Data analysis techniques used a qualitative descriptive approach. The ability to recognize colors from cycle I to cycle II can be improved through playing and singing methods. Overall, the total number of children who received the criteria for developing according to expectations and developing very well reached a percentage of 75%. This has reached the completeness of the success indicators set by the researchers, namely 75% of all children can develop as expected (BSH) or a maximum of very good development (BSB).

Abstract

Teachers' readiness to educate in terms of the teaching and learning process, learning methods, learning media, strategies, and learning conditions must be maximized. Varied learning methods can prevent the learning process in the classroom from being ineffective. One learning approach that can be used to make the learning process effective is edutainment. Edutainment not only makes the learning process more enjoyable but also increases the effectiveness and quality of education in a way that is adaptive and oriented to the needs of the digital generation. This study is based on how edutainment education is applied to Play Group (KB) Mutiara Ummi Kalasan. The purpose of this study was to describe the concepts and methods of edutainment applied at Play Group (KB) Mutiara Ummi Kalasan. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with data analysis techniques, such as data reduction, data presentation (data display), drawing conclusions, and verification. In this study, researchers found there were five concepts of edutainment learning, namely: a) risk-free learning environment, b) triune brain theory, c) active learning, d) Learning styles, and e) SAVI learning when the research shop place and four methods used namely a) playing method, b) storytelling method, c) singing method, and d) question and answer method.

Abstract

Self-development learning in mentally disabled children is still not fully realized by the community. Children with mental disabled have difficulty taking care of themselves so they need the help of others. Therefore, they need training to develop their self-development skills so that later they can be independent. This research aims to describe the internalization of independence to mentally-disabled child through self-development learning in one of inclusive Early Childhood Education at Yogyakarta. The research was conducted by conducting observation to the child and interviews to the guide teacher. The results of this study indicate that significantly mentally disabled child in the span of 1 year have begun to show progress in terms of self-development. This can be seen that she understands the instructions from her teacher, can already express what she feels, and has started to be able to eat with her cutlery
