This interdisciplinary journal aims to focus on the exchange of relevant trends and research results as well as the presentation of practical experiences gained while developing and testing elements of instructional technology. This journal aims to bridge the gap between pure academic research journals and more practical publications. So it covers the full range from research, application development to experience reports and product descriptions. IJIT uses a rolling submission process, allowing authors to submit at any time during the year without time restraints. Submit your paper now through Online Submission ONLY. The criteria for acceptance of manuscripts are the quality of work. This will concretely be reflected in the following aspects: novelty & practical impact; appropriateness and adequacy of: literature review, background discussion & analysis of issues; and presentation (overall organization, English & readability). For a contribution to be acceptable for publication, these points should be at least in the middle level. Authors should submit only papers that have been carefully proofread and polished to avoid having to re-work the manuscript later in the review process. Authors should present their work honestly without fabrication, falsification, plagiarism or inappropriate data manipulation. Manuscripts are accepted with the understanding that they are original or extended versions of previously published papers in conferences and/or journals and that, if the work received an official sponsorship, it has been duly released for open publication. Before submission please make sure that your paper is prepared using the journal paper template. It is available as word and latex version, kindly please download the Journal Template. This will ensure fast processing and publication. Any papers not fulfilling the requirements based on the guideline to authors will not be processed.

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing the impact of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) in online learning on student learning outcomes. The primary goal of this study is to identify how AI affects learning personalization, student engagement, and feedback provision, as well as its implications for learning effectiveness. This research employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, where data is collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation at Universitas Nurul Jadid. The findings indicate that AI has a significant positive impact on enhancing learning personalization, improving student understanding, and increasing engagement and motivation. Additionally, AI has proven capable of providing faster and more accurate feedback, which helps students correct their mistakes more effectively. The implications of this research show that AI has great potential to enhance online learning effectiveness but also emphasizes the need for a balance between technology use and human interaction in education. The study also identifies the need for more comprehensive future research to include variations in gender, age, and other learning methods.

Abstract

This research focuses on the use of Virtual Reality (VR) as a tool to improve students' practical skills in health education. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of VR in developing both technical and non-technical skills among students and to identify VR's contribution to more sustainable and flexible learning. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used, involving in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis at Nurul Jadid University in East Java. The results showed that the use of VR significantly enhanced students' technical skills, such as accuracy and speed in performing medical procedures, as well as non-technical skills like communication, decision-making, and teamwork. Additionally, VR provided more flexible and sustainable access to practice sessions, overcoming the physical and logistical limitations typically faced in health education. The implications of this study suggest that VR has great potential to be integrated into the health education curriculum, offering innovative solutions to improve learning quality and better prepare students for careers in the medical field. The study also recommends further comprehensive research to accommodate various variables, such as gender and age, to provide a more targeted basis for policy.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of adaptive learning platforms in accommodating students' learning styles and their impact on learning outcomes, motivation, and student engagement. The focus of this research is to understand how the personalization offered by adaptive platforms can enhance the quality of education by providing a learning environment tailored to individual needs. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type, involving in-depth interviews and participant observations of students at SMK Pelayaran Samudera Nusantara Utama Palopo. The results indicate that the adaptive learning platform has a significant positive impact on material comprehension, improved learning outcomes, as well as on student motivation and engagement in the learning process. The flexibility and accessibility provided by the platform also enable students to learn in a manner that is more comfortable and suited to their needs. The implications of this study suggest that integrating adaptive technology in education can be an effective solution for addressing differences in students' learning styles. However, further comprehensive research is needed to explore the application of this technology across various educational contexts.

Abstract

AI may change global education. ChatGPT may help Pakistan with overcrowded schools, teacher shortages, and resource limitations. According to a study, ChatGPT may enhance Pakistani education, teaching, and learning. This research suggests ChatGPT may boost Pakistani education. ChatGPT's influence on education, integrating concerns, and Pakistani education proposals are covered in the article. This research was quantitative and qualitative. Structured surveys of educators, students, and policymakers generated quantitative data, while semi-structured interviews were collected qualitatively. Urban-rural stratified sample. They evaluated qualitative data using regression, T-tests, and themes. Results demonstrate ChatGPT enhances Pakistani education. The survey showed teachers and students enjoyed ChatGPT's teaching and learning advantages. Testing showed ChatGPT enhanced student performance by 15%. According to qualitative research, ChatGPT may eliminate educational disparities in underprivileged areas despite concerns about digital infrastructure and teacher preparation. ChatGPT may enhance Pakistani education by improving learning, teaching, and access to high-quality education. It requires massive digital infrastructure expenditures, educator professional development, and government backing to succeed. Results impact politicians, educators, and technology. Education policymakers need frameworks like ChatGPT to use AI. AI and educator training must be culturally suitable. Pakistani educators get AI education research training and recommendations from this initiative.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of hybrid learning at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 4 Kediri, focusing on instructional design and the quality of streaming technology. The research method employed is qualitative with a case study approach to explore the experiences of students and faculty regarding hybrid learning. The subjects of the study include 20 students and 10 faculty members involved in the hybrid learning program at the university. Data collection techniques included semi-structured interviews and participatory observations. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns and key themes related to the impact of instructional design and technical issues on student engagement. The results indicate that interactive instructional design contributes to increased student engagement, while technical problems such as buffering and poor video quality significantly hinder the effectiveness of learning. These findings underscore the importance of integrating high-quality streaming technology with effective instructional design to enhance the learning experience in hybrid education.
