Abstract

This study explores the application of a gamification model in Islamic Religious Education to enhance student learning motivation. The research aims to examine the implementation of gamification in the learning process and its impact on the motivation of class XI TKR A students. Using Classroom Action Research, the study involved 21 students and collected data through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis included evaluating teacher and student activity sheets and motivation questionnaires. Results show that teacher activity improved from 63% in cycle I to 90.8% in cycle II, student activity increased from 54% to 91%, and student motivation rose from 62% to 86%. These findings indicate that gamification significantly enhances student engagement and motivation in Islamic Religious Education learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan pendidikan humanis melalui penguatan pedagogik pada Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Pascasarjana IAIN Palopo serta menganalisis implikasinya terhadap kualitas pembelajaran dan partisipasi mahasiswa. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif multidisiplin dengan metode penelitian lapangan, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan dukungan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan humanis diintegrasikan dalam empat aspek utama, yaitu penguasaan teori, pengembangan pembelajaran, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan proses pembelajaran. Dosen menerapkan model PAKEM, memanfaatkan media digital dan aplikasi pembelajaran, serta menekankan evaluasi berbasis pengalaman dan soft skills, yang berdampak pada peningkatan partisipasi aktif, penguatan karakter, dan pengembangan kognitif, emosional, sosial, dan moral mahasiswa. Keterbatasan penelitian ini adalah konteks yang terbatas pada Pascasarjana IAIN Palopo sehingga generalisasi masih perlu diperluas, dan penelitian lanjutan disarankan menguji model pedagogik humanis pada konteks lebih luas dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Implikasi praktis dari temuan ini adalah perlunya penguatan pedagogik berbasis humanis, integrasi teknologi pembelajaran, serta evaluasi keterampilan non-akademik mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan tinggi Islam. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi baru melalui pengungkapan peran pendidikan humanis dalam penguatan pedagogik PAI, khususnya penerapan model PAKEM dan evaluasi berbasis pengalaman, yang memperkaya literatur pendidikan Islam dengan pendekatan holistik yang memadukan teori, karakter, dan keterampilan hidup mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of adaptive learning platforms in accommodating students' learning styles and their impact on learning outcomes, motivation, and student engagement. The focus of this research is to understand how the personalization offered by adaptive platforms can enhance the quality of education by providing a learning environment tailored to individual needs.The research method used is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological research type, involving in-depth interviews and participant observations of students at SMK Pelayaran Samudera Nusantara Utama Palopo. The results indicate that the adaptive learning platform has a significant positive impact on material comprehension, improved learning outcomes, as well as on student motivation and engagement in the learning process. The flexibility and accessibility provided by the platform also enable students to learn in a manner that is more comfortable and suited to their needs.The implications of this study suggest that integrating adaptive technology in education can be an effective solution for addressing differences in students' learning styles. However, further comprehensive research is needed to explore the application of this technology across various educational contexts.

Abstract

The study discusses the efforts made by Islamic religious education (PAI) teachers to use ICT-based learning media, the use of information and communication technology-based learning media in PAI learning, and the quality of Islamic religious education. The type of the research was a descriptive qualitative study at a public junior high school in Soreang District, Parepare City. The data used were primary and secondary. The research instruments were observation, interview, and documentation guidelines. The research data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed several efforts carried out by PAI teachers, namely preparing the lesson plan, selecting, and designing the media devices according to the religious education materials, using learning media based on information and communication technology, opening the teaching and learning activities by greeting and praying together, presented learning materials with various media, formed a study group by giving a problem needed to be solved from the observations of the films, videos, music, and images presented, discussed materials to find answers to the problems shown, provided confirmation or explanation and reinforcement of the results of the discussion of the material presented, and ended the class by saying hamdalah and greetings.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi pembelajaran dan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka mendorong guru menyediakan media ajar yang interaktif, kontekstual, serta mampu meningkatkan, kemandirian, dan pemahaman peserta didik. Pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, khususnya materi pemulasaraan jenazah yang bersifat aplikatif, peserta didik membutuhkan visualisasi dan penjelasan prosedural yang sistematis agar mampu memahami langkah-langkah praktik secara utuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-modul pemulasaraan jenazah, menilai kualitasnya melalui validasi para ahli, serta menguji kepraktisan dan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tiga validator ahli (materi, media, dan bahasa), satu guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, serta peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 5 Luwu. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi, angket respon guru dan peserta didik, serta tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk menilai validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-modul berbantuan Flip PDF berada pada kategori sangat valid, dengan skor masing-masing 3,82 (ahli materi), 3,38 (ahli media), dan 3,33 (ahli bahasa). Uji kepraktisan juga memperoleh respon sangat praktis dari peserta didik (85,14%) maupun guru (94,12%). Pada aspek efektivitas, tes hasil belajar menunjukkan rata-rata 87,92 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 86,11%. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa e-modul layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar digital yang mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, khususnya dalam penguatan kompetensi religius, kemandirian belajar, serta pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna, sekaligus membuka peluang pengembangan lanjutan pada cakupan materi dan skala implementasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the lecture method on the implementation of moral values among ninth-grade students of MTs Satu Atap Datok Sulaiman Putra Palopo and to identify the factors influencing its effectiveness. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The sample consisted of 51 students selected through a simple random sampling technique. The research instruments included a Likert-scale questionnaire and observation sheets, while data analysis utilized descriptive statistical techniques complemented by the t-test, simple linear regression analysis, and the determination coefficient (R²). The findings revealed a significant influence between the application of the lecture method and the implementation of students’ moral values. The experimental group achieved an average post-test score of 82.4, categorized as high, while the control group obtained an average score of 74.5, categorized as moderate. The t-test results indicated a significant difference (p < 0.05), and the R² value of 0.62 demonstrated that the lecture method contributed 62% to the improvement of moral value implementation. The lecture method was proven to function not merely as a means of delivering learning material but also as a medium for internalizing moral values based on religious teachings.
