Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the YouTube application in mathematics learning for class VIII UPTD students at SMP Negeri 2 Parepare. This type of research is Pre-Experimental. The sample for this research was students of class VIII UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Parepare in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year using a sampling technique, namely cluster random sampling. Data collection was carried out using research instruments in the form of test sheets, student activity observation sheets, teacher ability observation sheets to manage learning and student response questionnaire sheets. The results of the research show that learning using YouTube media is effective in mathematics learning for class VIII students at UPTD SMPN 2 Parepare. This is shown by descriptive analysis, namely (1) student learning completeness is included in the "High" category with an average score of 87,038 where classically 100% of students have completed it, (2) student activities are in accordance with learning using YouTube media The average percentage obtained was 60.42% or in the "Good" category, (3) the average score for teacher ability in managing learning was 4.14 and included in the "Good" category and (4) the students' response to learning mathematics using YouTube media was very positive with an average of 71.88%. Meanwhile, based on inferential analysis using the one sample t-test in the posttest, a significant value of p = 0.000 < α = 0.05 was obtained and the one sample t-test on the gain value obtained a significant value of p = 0.000 < α = 0.05 so it can be concluded that H_0 is rejected and H_1 accepted, which means that there is effectiveness in using YouTube media in mathematics learning for class VIII students at UPTD SMPN 2 Parepare

Abstract

Some students have difficulty working on mathematics problems systematically. This shows that the level of critical thinking of students is still very lacking. The level of critical thinking can influence mathematics learning outcomes. The research carried out was an Ex Post Facto type of research using a quantitative approach to determine the influence of the level of critical thinking on mathematics learning outcomes for students in class X MIPA 3 UPT SMA Negeri 3 Parepare. The results of descriptive statistical analysis obtained data which showed that the Critical Thinking Level of class The students' learning outcomes are in the "high" category with an average value of 80.96 with an ideal score of 100. The results of the hypothesis test show that the sig (p) value is 0.000. This value is smaller than the significance level a = 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), meaning that H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a positive influence on the level of critical thinking on the mathematics learning outcomes of students in class Negeri 3 Parepare was 52.9%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of interest in learning on activeness in learning mathematics through the Google Classroom application in class The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire consisting of a learning interest questionnaire and a mathematics learning activity questionnaire. The results of the research that has been carried out show that interest in learning has a positive effect on activeness in learning mathematics through the Google Classroom application for class X UPT students at SMA Negeri 1 Parepare. This is shown by 1) the interest in studying mathematics of class Classroom students in class which means that interest in learning influences active learning in mathematics by 56.5%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of student discipline on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students at UPTD SMP Negeri 6 Parepare, while this type of research is Ex Post Facto research. The population of this study were students of class VIII UPTD SMP Negeri 6 Parepare. The sample in this study consisted of 35 students. This research data was obtained using a research instrument in the form of a disciplinary questionnaire and the average score of mathematics assignments given twice by subject teachers with material on number patterns in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The data collection techniques used are questionnaire techniques and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 6 Parepare for the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, there were 35 respondents who were analyzed based on their level of discipline, namely for students in the high discipline category there were 25 respondents with an average learning outcome of 81.04 in the high learning outcomes category. , for students in the moderate discipline category there were 10 respondents with an average learning outcome of 76.7 in the moderate learning outcomes category. The results of inferential analysis based on the Independent Samples T-Test showed that there was an influence of discipline on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII UPTD students at SMP Negeri 6 Parepare for the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of the analysis show that the significant value in the Independent Samples T-Test is 0.010 < α (? = 0.05), so Ho is rejected. H¬1 is accepted, which means there is an influence of the level of discipline on students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate whether application of learning theory Robert E Slavin logic applied in mathematical learning in class XI student of MAN Sidenreng Rappang. This research is quasi-experimental study without control. And implemented the study comparing two treatments in two different groups, but only one type of behavior in a group that is learning with the application of learning theory Robert E Slavin. Samples of this study are all learners class XI MAN Sidenreng Rappang of 27 people. This study obtained data using research instruments purporting observation sheets and test the result. The data obtained in this study were analyzed by anlisis qualitative, descriptive statistical analysis. Qualitative results of the analysis show that there is a positive change in student attitude. The changes can be seen from many students who do dingpinkan activity and lack of activity that students who do not want at the time of the learning process. While the quantitative results of the analysis show that the learning outcomes of students showing good results. Case, we can see the value of the average size of 84.26 obtained from an ideal score of 100. In classical completeness of 100%. Based on the results of the analysis of data obtained, it can be drawn a conclusion that the theory of Robert E Slavin effective learning in learning logic applied mathematics in class XI student of MAN Sidenreng Rappang..

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research which aims to improve learning outcomes through the application of mathematical statistical material Novick teaching model in class XI IPS2 SMA Negeri 2 Parepare. The subjects were students of class XI IPS2 SMA Negeri 3 Parepare amounting to 21 people. This study was conducted in two cycles each of the three learning sessions and one session conducted tests of learning outcomes. The research work procedures each cycle lasts four stages, namely: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observing, and (4) reflective. Data collection techniques used in this study are data on learning outcomes by giving a test taken at the end of each cycle, while the data on student activity taken using observation sheets during the learning process takes place in the classroom. Based on the results of research and discussion for two cycles, it can be concluded that the results students studying mathematics of class XI IPS2 SMA Negeri 3 Parepare has increased from cycle I to cycle II. This is shown by: (1) increasing the average score of students' mathematics learning outcomes is 66,43 to 82,81 in the cycle I in the cycle II, (2) mastery learning mathematics achievement of students from cycle I to cycle II is 42,9% of the 9 students to 95,2% of the 20 students, and (3) an increase in appropriate student learning activities is 51,25% in cycle I increased to 62,13% in the cycle II, and decreased activity of students who do not fit the learning is 11,11% in the cycle I to 7,94% in cycle II.

Abstract

This research constitute action research brazes (Classroom Action Research) one that intent to increase mathematics studying result via implemented model learning search, solve, create, and share on classes educative participant VIII.2 SMP is Country 2 Suppa. Subject is this research is participant teach to braze VIII.2 SMP is Country 2 Suppa that total 22 person. This research is done in two cycle which on cycle I consisting of thrice meet learning process and once appointment is done essays cycle whereas on cycle II consisting of thrice meet learning process and once appointment essays cycle. Data collecting tech that is utilized in this research which is data about studying result took by gives essay each cycle final, meanwhile data about teacher activity and participant activity teach by use of been taken observation sheet upon happens it learning process at within class. Base observational result and study up to two cycles, therefore gets to be concluded that mathematicses learned result participant be taught by class VIII.2 SMP is Country 2 Suppa experiences step-ups of cycles I go to cycles II. It pointed out by: (1) increases it average usufructs participant mathematics studying be taught which is 55 on cycle I as 82,68 on cycle II; (2) increases it average participant activity percentage is taught suitably learning which is 32,24% on cycle I to increase becomes 43,07% on cycle II and increases it average ability percentage learns in activity learning of cycle I goes to cycle II which is 2,71% worked up as 3,09% and (3) increases it participant percentage are taught that complete learned which is 31,8% on cycle I as 90,9% on cycle II.

Abstract

This research is a research action class (Classroom Action Research) aimed at improving the results of learning math kubus and balok material though penerapan teori belajar Skinner padasiswakelasVIII4 SMP Negeri 8Parepare. The subject of this research is grade VIII4 SMP Negeri 8 Parepare which totaled 25 people. This research was conducted in two cycles, each of which is three times the learning process and one time meetings conducted the test results of the study. The working procedures research each cycle lasting four stages, namely: (1), planning (2) the implementation of the action, (3) observations, and (4) Reflection. The techniques of collection data is used at this research is data about the results of the study were taken by giving it a test at the end of each cycle, whereas data about activity of students and teachers were taken by using the observation sheets during the learning process in the classroom. Based on the results of research and discussion for two cycles, then it can be concluded that the results of learning mathematics grade VIII4 SMP Negeri 8Parepare increase from cycle 1 to cycle II. This is indicated by: (1) increasing the average results of learning mathematic students is 66,52on cycle I became 83,36on cycle II; (2) improving learning completeness students math from cycle 1 to cycle II is 68%of the become 92%; (3) an increase at students activity which appropriate with learning is 54.84% in cycle I increased to 62,48%% in cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes math class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Parepare through the application of learning models Word Square. Subjects in this study is class VIII8 students of SMP Negeri 1 Parepare 47 in total learners. This study was conducted in two cycles each lasting 4 meetings and implemented test every cycle end of the cycle. Data collection was performed using achievement test and observation. The collected data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results quantitatively indicating that an increase in mathematics achievement class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Parepare through the application of learning models Word Square. It can be seen from the results of learning in the first cycle the number of students who pass the study only 47 people with an average score of 75 and the second cycle the number of students who pass the study there were 46 students from 47 students with an average score of 82, 77. In the second cycle occurred in the classical mastery learning which is 100% of the number of students who achieve a score of at least 65% of the ideal score. While qualitatively during the learning process with the application mode pembelajaranl Word Square seen a change in attitude from the increasing activity of learners from the first cycle to cycle II. The results of this study it can be concluded that an increase in student learning outcomes math class VIII Junior High School 1 Parepare with the application of learning models word Square.
