Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this service is to train elementary school teachers to implement Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematich (STEAM) Based Learning. In addition to training teachers, this service also aims to analyze the pedagogical and professional competences of elementary school teachers through the lesson study method in Surakarta. The subjects of this service are elementary school teachers in the city of Surakarta. The method used in this service starts with Workshop, Practice, and Implementation. In conducting this training, the subjects were asked to take tests related to implementing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) Learning. The data analysis used was pre-test and post-test. The result of this activity is that there is an increase in the knowledge and understanding of teachers implementing Science, Technology, Engineering, Artand Mathematich (STEAM) Learning in Elementary School Teachers in Surakarta.Keywords: STEAM, Pedagogic, Professional, Teacher Competence

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is the use of monopoly games to improve understanding of the concept of unity. This research is a Classroom Action Research by conducting two cycles. The subject of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN Genengsari 3 Sukoharjo in the academic year 2019/2020 which has 25 students. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, tests, and documentation with data validity data analysis and triangulation. Analysis of the data in this study uses the Miles-Huberman interactive analysis model. The first cycle obtained a percentage of 69% classically, and the second cycle research with a percentage of 90% in classical terms. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the understanding of the concept of unity in 5th grade students of SDN Genengsari 3 Sukoharjo in the academic year 2019/2020 can be improved by the use of monopoly games.                 Keywords: elementary school, unity, monopoly game, civic education

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is improving the skill of communicating the result of the discussion by applying numbered head together model. This Classroom Action Research consists of two cycles. The subjects of this research were 20-grade 4th elementary school students in Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year. The data collection techniques used interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using triangulation. The analysis of the data used the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman that consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion verifying. Research data shows that the score of the skills of communicating the result of the discussion on the pre-cycle is 20,8%, in the first cycle is 41,6%, and the second cycle is 87,5%. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the skill of communicating the result of the discussion ongrade 4th elementary school students in the 2019/2020 academic year can be improved through the Numbered Head Together model.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in teacher performance in managing the learning administration "Learning Implementation Plan" (RRP) through managerial supervision of school supervisors at SD Negeri Sikepan 1, Srumbung District, Magelang Regency. This type of research is a study that uses a school action research (PTS) design with a qualitative approach. The research subjects in this study were 6 class teachers at SD Negeri Sikepan 1, Srumbung District, Magelang Regency. The main data were obtained from the class teacher. Data collection methods by interview, observation, and documentation methods.The results showed that managerial supervision was able to improve the performance of class teachers at SD Negeri Sikepan 1, Srumbung District, Magelang Regency in managing learning administration. Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) in quality and quantity. The teacher's performance in managing learning administration, the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) only reached a percentage of 60.42% (there were 3 teachers in the bad category and 3 teachers in the good category), after being given the action it increased in cycle I to 72.92% (there is 1 person, the teacher is in the bad category, 3 teachers are in the good category and 2 teachers are in the very good category) and in the second cycle it increases to 85.42% (there are 2 people in the good category and 4 teachers in the good category)

Abstract

Abstract. the purposes of this research are describing the using of image media with card sort method in Social Learning about the Important Events on class of two from students of 1 Pasar Banggi Elementary School and analyzing the learning results on class of two from students of 1 Pasar Banggi Elementary School in Social Learning about the Important Events by using of image media with card sort method. The type of this research is Class Action Research (CAR). The Action of this research is the using of image media with card sort method in Social Learning about the Important Events. The place of this research is the class of two from students of 1 Pasar Banggi Elementary School, Sub district of Rembang, Regency of Rembang. The results of this research are 1) the using of image media with card sort method in Social Learning about the Important Events is doing on group task based on students’ serial number and population, 2) the using of image media with card sort method in Social Learning about the Important Events is matching the image with the correct text, 3) the using of image media with card sort method in Social Learning about the Important Events is improving the students’ learning activities in working the task and discussing on the class, 4) the using of image media with card sort method in Social Learning about the Important Events is improving the learning results.

Abstract

Abstract. the purpose of this research is increasing the teacher’s performance in teaching through class visitation in academic supervision in Weton Elementary School, Sub district of Rembang, Regency of Rembang with School Action Research. The techniques of collecting data are using the documentation study, observation and interview. Test of data validation are using resources triangulation and techniques triangulation. The data analyse is using qualitative analyzing. The academic supervision in Weton Elementary School begins with the planning. In planning, the researcher makes the program, prepares the supervision instrument;in the form of sheet of scoring in planning the learning or sheet of the lesson planning and sheet of scoring in implementation the learning or instrument of scoring the teacher’s performance. In implementation, the researcher observes the learning. The results of scoring the teacher’s performances are only on Grade IV, V and VI. In planning the learning, in the pre-cycle the average is 61%, after the action in the First Cycle the average is 72,23% and after the action in the Second Cycle the average is 81%. About implementation the learning is using scoring the teacher’s performance. The result is increasing, in the pre-cycle the average is 73, after the action in the First Cycle the average is 79 and after the action in the Second Cycle the average is 83.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari pengabdian adalah untuk melatih guru sekolah dasar untuk memiliki mengimplementasi kan Pembelajaran Digital. Selain untuk melatih guru, pengabdian ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi Professional Guru SD dalam penguasaan IT. Subjek dari layanan ini adalah guru sekolah dasar di kota Surakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam layanan ini dimulai dengan Workshop, Praktek, dan Implementasi. Dalam melakukan pelatihan ini, para subyek diminta untuk mengerjakan tes terkait dengan mengimplementasi kan Pembelajaran Digital. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah pre-test dan post-test. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to improve the understanding of the material understanding of the concept of legislation at the central and regional levels using the CORE model for grade V students at SDN Pabelan 3 for the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is a classroom action research which is carried out in three cycles consisting of planning, implementing the action, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were teachers and students of class V SDN Pabelan 3 for the 2019/2020 academic year, totaling 20 students.Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis model which consists of four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data validity used content validity. The results show that the application of the CORE model can improve the understanding of the concept of legislation at the central and regional levels in class V SDN Pabelan students for the 2019/2020 academic year. In the initial conditions before takingaction, the pre-action students' completeness was 25%. With an average value of 54.2. After using the CORE model in cycle I, student completeness increased to 65% with an average value of 70.35, then in cycle II it increased to 85% with an average value of 81.15. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the application of the core model can improve the understanding of the concept of legislation at the central and regional levels in class V SDN Pabelan students for the 2019/2020 academic year.

Abstract

Abstract. Improving the ability to analyze the FPB and KPK by applying Means Ends Analysis model is the purpose of this research. This research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. Students of the 4th students at SD Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta in the 2019/2020, totalling 24 students is the subject. Data collection techniques in the form of interview, observation, test, and document analysis. Data analysis are source and technique triangulation, and content validity. Analysis of the data used is the Miles-Huberman interactive analysis model. The initial conditions of analysis ability of 4th students showed 37,5%. The cycle I at the first meeting resulting in a percentage of 75%, the second meeting is 66.67%. The cycle II at the first meeting producing a percentage of 87.5%, the second meeting is 91.67%. Based on theresult of the research, it can be conclude that the ability to analyze FPB dan KPK on 4th students of SD Ta’mirul Islam in the 2019/2020 can be improved through the Means Ends Analysis model. This research contributed to be used as a reference and be a development in varied learning activities in mathematics subject.

Abstract

Abstract. The objective of the reserach is to describe how to apply the Guided Note Taking (GNT) learning model that can improve learning activeness in social learning for fourth grade students of Ngadipuro Elementary School in Blora Regency. The type of research is Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the research consisted of fourth grade teachers and all students of fourth grade totaling 21 students. Data collection techniques used tests, interviews, observations, and documentation. Source triangulation techniques anddata collection triangulation techniques used for data validity. Data analysis techniques used interactive analysis techniques with the stages are data reduction, presentation of research data, and drawing conclusions. As results, students' learning activeness increased in five indicators of the pre-action increasing in cycle I, and again increasing in cycle II. The five indicators of learning activeness in this study include paying attention and writing material, asking questions, expressing opinions or ideas, discussing classical problem solving, and presenting learning outcomes. Application of the GNT model can increase student learning outcomes marked by in classical completeness in pre-action by 61.90% increased in cycle 1 to 76.19%, and increased in cycle II to 85.71%. The conclusion of this research is the application of the GNT model can increase the learning activity of fourth grade students of NgadipurwoElementary School in social learning.
