Abstract

Strengthening Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Global Citizenship Education (GCED) has become a crucial global mandate to shape 21st-century student competencies and support the achievement of SDG 4 (Quality Education) in Indonesia. Although social media platforms offer authentic spaces for emotional resonance and identity formation, interactions within them are often shallow and lack sustained critical reflection. This gap challenges ethical and moral education efforts, including religious-based ones such as Da'wah Management. This position paper aims to propose and verify a conceptual model for integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) with Da'wah Management principles to improve the quality and effectiveness of SEL and GCED delivery in the Indonesian educational context. The approach used is a conceptual position paper involving a comprehensive literature review, analysis of national education policies, and construction of a theoretical framework linking transformative technology with character education. The main argument of this research is that GenAI functions as a reflective and adaptive layer that can transform the implementation of Da'wah Management and character education. GenAI overcomes the limitations of social media by providing personalized feedback, presenting in-depth ethical scenario simulations, and facilitating critical dialogue, thereby fostering empathetic and responsible digital citizenship. This proposed integration framework for GenAI and Da'wah Management has significant implications for curriculum developers and educators, offering a robust technology-based strategy to prepare Indonesian youth as ethical, socially conscious global citizens, while simultaneously accelerating the realization of Target 4.7 of SDG 4: Quality Education.

Abstract

(Background) Time management is a significant challenge among college students, who often face heavy academic, work, and organizational workloads, triggering academic procrastination—the deliberate delay in completing assignments. This behavior directly negatively impacts the quality of learning and the achievement of academic goals, necessitating creative and relevant educational interventions. (Objective) This study aims to test the effectiveness and feasibility of the interactive comic titled "Besok Aja Deh" as a medium to increase time management awareness and reduce academic procrastination among college students. (Method) This development research used a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach through a simple Research and Development (R&D) method to design the comic media. Product trials were conducted on 54 students at Nahdlatul Ulama University, Pasuruan. (Results) The trial results showed that the comic "Besok Aja Deh" (Tomorrow) achieved a score of 88%, placing it in the "Very Good" category and deemed suitable for use as a medium. Respondents felt the comic improved their understanding of the importance of time management and the consequences of procrastination. (Conclusion) The interactive comic proved effective and suitable for use as a self-education strategy to improve students' self-regulation and time management skills. This media-based intervention significantly contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education by improving students' learning competencies and academic timeliness.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and modernization, education in Indonesia faces the challenge of developing students' character not only with extensive knowledge but also with strong moral values. The background of this research is the need to integrate the Pancasila ideology and progressive Islamic principles in education to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in developing quality student character. The main objective of this research is to explore how the integration of these two concepts can be effectively implemented in the education system to prepare an adaptive and ethical generation. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with literature analysis and case studies of several educational institutions that have successfully implemented this integration. The results show that the integration of Pancasila and progressive Islam can produce students with more tolerant characters, global perspectives, and commitment to humanitarian values. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of collaboration between educators, policymakers, and the community to create an educational environment that supports student character development that balances knowledge and morality. The implication of this research is that Indonesian education policy could further emphasize the importance of a holistic approach to learning to ensure students are not only prepared to face global challenges but also able to contribute positively to the nation and the world.

Abstract

Strategic alliances play a crucial role in business sustainability; however, the lack of an educational model that facilitates these alliances is a significant barrier to shared value creation at both operational and educational levels. The purpose of this SLR is to synthesize the role of strategic alliances in entrepreneurship education, focusing on the formulation of a Shared Value Creation (CSV) model that impacts the four pillars of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Using a conceptual and integrative systematic literature review (SLR) approach, this study analyzes Scopus- and Web of Science (WoS)-indexed literature that links strategic alliances, entrepreneurship education, and shared value creation. Key findings demonstrate the critical need to integrate Knowledge Management Capabilities and Inter-organizational Trust as prerequisites for successful alliances in education. This SLR constructs a structured Conceptual Model of Strategic Alliances in Education, which facilitates the creation of balanced shared value (Profit, People, Planet) in the curriculum. Conclusion: The proposed model makes a significant contribution, offering a transformative roadmap for implementing a curriculum in educational institutions and industry partners. This model enables industry alliances to integrate sustainability across the pillars of Education (SDG 4), Economy (SDG 8), Innovation (SDG 9), and Environment (SDG 13).

Abstract

The need to improve the quality of education (SDG 4) urges the integration of global sustainability issues, such as climate literacy, into the core curriculum, particularly mathematics. This study stems from the urgency of improving students' geometric thinking and numeracy literacy, which remains a challenge, while emphasizing the importance of teachers' roles as learning designers. Objective: This study aims to explore in-depth the role of teachers' TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) in planning, implementing, and reflecting on the use of contextual manipulative media that integrates climate literacy to strengthen students' conceptual understanding of geometry and numeracy. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of learning documents (Lesson Implementation Plans and student artifacts) from teachers who implemented the TPACK framework. The findings indicate that the TPACK framework significantly guides teachers in selecting mathematically relevant climate content (PCK), designing effective and adaptive manipulative media (TCK/TPK), and facilitating critical discussions (PK) that link mathematical calculations (numeracy) to climate-based solutions. The role of TPACK enables a shift from passive learning to active and meaningful learning. Conclusion: The integration of climate literacy through contextual manipulative media, facilitated by strong TPACK mastery, not only successfully strengthens understanding of geometry and numeracy but also increases students' awareness and ability to apply mathematical knowledge to sustainability issues. These results provide important implications for teacher professional development in the digital and sustainability era.

Abstract

In today's digital transformation era, 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy have become essential competencies for students. Project-based teaching strategies, technology integration, and collaborative learning have proven effective and engaging in enhancing these skills. This research is motivated by the urgent need to systematically integrate educational resources and leadership in multidisciplinary education, considering that previous studies have primarily evaluated the impact of separate interventions on cognitive and social development, while comprehensive evaluations on cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains remain limited. The main objective of this study is to examine the synergy between educational resources and leadership practices in achieving sustainable quality through an integration approach in multidisciplinary education. The method employed is mixed-methods, combining qualitative phenomenological analysis through in-depth interviews and document analysis, as well as quantitative meta-analysis of 679 articles indexed from 2005 to 2026, covering levels from elementary to higher education with the use of digital tools for assessment. The study results show a significant positive impact from the integration of educational resources and leadership, with a productivity of 17.6 citations/year, an average impact of 68.5 citations, and a strong correlation between research maturity (r=0.177) and author collaboration (r=0.201) on educational outcomes, while the time of publication has minimal influence (r=-0.177). It is concluded that sustainable educational quality can only be achieved through the strategic integration of educational resources and transformational leadership, with an emphasis on continuous professional development, technology-based pedagogical practices, and multidisciplinary collaboration as the foundation for educational excellence and national development.
