Abstract

PT Harapan Baru Motorindo is a spare parts sales company in Batam that uses an information system to manage data. However, there are problems with the system, such as the occurrence of errors about one to two times a month so that the data management process is done manually and the company has never conducted an information system audit. The purpose of this research is to measure the level of maturity and to find the source of problems in the system and to provide recommendations to companies to improve IT governance. The study was conducted with the COBIT 4.1 framework with a focus on the PO1, PO8, AI2, AI3, DS10 and ME4 sub domains. The results of the analysis of the maturity level show that the company is at level 3 with a defined process status, which means that the company has carried out IT strategic planning (PO1), IT quality management system (PO8), made design, security and system control according to business needs (AI2), already has procedures for implementing and updating IT infrastructure (AI3), has built procedures for managing data (DS10) and has conducted training and communication to employees regarding standard IT procedures and responsibilities (ME4).

Abstract

EPSON BATAM is an electronics industry company that produces ink, scanner and ic. In the continuous process of the machine, it was found that some of the equipment of this machine was damaged, such as the instantaneous hot sasakura transformer, failure of the motor pump to pump ink waste, and failure of the contactor heater. The consequences of this damage have an impact on the number of products produced which are not in accordance with the previously planned time. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of machines using the approach used in increasing machine authority is Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), while OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is a method used as a measurement in implementing the TPM program, to monitor equipment in ideal conditions with eliminating 6 major losses of equipment then the researcher will analyze the factors that affect the OEE value using Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA). The results showed that the OEE value obtained on the sasakura machine in January-August 2020 was 24%. The biggest factors with the lowest machine effectiveness were equipment failure losses of 53.45%, reducing speed losses of 33.72% and stopping small idling of 8.96%. The proposed improvement is to prioritize the 2 main pillars of TPM namely Focused Maintenance and Planned Maintenance.

Abstract

Developments that unite science and technology form a new invention, namely the smartphone. In the world of education, smartphones are effective learning tools that can be used anywhere. Learning media in the form of technology on smartphones is Augmented Reality in learning introduction to sports. Augmented Reality is a technology that combines 2D and 3D virtual objects into an interactive real-time environment. Changes in learning methods lead to digital based using computer technology that accepts inputs such as audio and video. The support of the Blender sports software is made into 3D, the Vuforia database and the Unity Engine as software used to develop Augmented Reality applications using the C# programming language. The resulting application is an Augmented Reality application with virtual sports objects in 3D and can be displayed in real time. Marker is a pattern or marker in the form of an image that will be recognized by the camera by pointing the camera on the smartphone to the marker that has been printed, then the 3D object will be displayed on the smartphone. The use of Augmented Reality technology is expected to be an alternative media, so that it is interesting and varied in learning about sports.

Abstract

The CNC Milling Makino V33 is a machine used for the manufacture of protrusions and holes. When carrying out the production process, this machine often experiences problems such as overheating on the Y and X axes, misuse of materials and others that cause unattainable output. This study aims to measure the level of machine effectiveness using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), identify six big losses with Pareto diagrams, fishbone diagrams and Failure Mode Analysis (FMEA) and provide suggestions for engine improvements. Based on the research results, the OEE of the CNC Milling Makino V33 machine for the January 2020-August 2020 period was 29.37% and was still below the OEE International standard value of 85%. Based on calculation of the RPN value that has been carried out, the highest cause of failure is the unstable heater temperature. Proposed improvements that can be done are to check the heater temperature and carry out preventive maintenance every month.

Abstract

PT XYZ has several production machine units which as part of the manufacturing industry experience problems with the machine maintenance system that has been set by the company which are not carried out by maintenance operators, which causes machines to often experience breakdowns and the production process stops. One solution to this problem is to improve the way in which machine maintenance strategies are chosen. Therefore, this study aims to determine a machine maintenance strategy by involving PT XYZ. The results of this study obtained 3 criteria for selecting and evaluating the criteria for preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and corrective maintenance with a total of 9 combined sub-criteria. The highest criterion weight is preventive maintenance (1.00), while the highest sub-criteria is time (1.00).

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company that produces printer device components called Seal supply hole mm. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of effectiveness (OEE) of the IM 18-06 molding machine. OEE level is obtained based on the availability, performance, and quality level of IM 18-06 molding machines. Based on the calculation results From the OEE value, it is known that the PT. XYZ company still has not reached world standards of 85%. This shows that the company still has to improve its maintenance activities. Lowest OEE level in January In 2020, it was 68.76%, while the highest OEE level was in June 2020 at 82.37%. The low IM 18-06 molding machine process performance is caused by several factors such as the age of the machine that is too old, the absence of routine maintenance schedules carried out by the company, which causes the machine to often experience damage.

Abstract

Security is an important aspect of an information system. Many people do not know how to secure files that are created or received or do not know how to protect files that are created or received so that there is no theft of files that cause information from those files to leak. Every organization, industry, or infrastructure, needs a level of network security solution to protect against the growing hacker threats in today's world. Text files that contain information in text form. Data originating from word processing documents, numbers used in calculations, names and addresses in the database are examples of text data input consisting of characters, numbers and punctuation marks. Input and output text data is represented as a character set or code system recognized by the computer system. Cryptography is a science that studies how to keep data safe when sent, from sender to receiver without experiencing interference from third parties. Vigenere Cipher is method of encrypting alphabetic text using letter and numbers. This table is usually referred to as the Vigenere Table. The concept of cryptography itself has long been used by humans, for example in the Egyptian and Roman civilizations, although it is still very simple.

Abstract

The problem of student grades is very important as a benchmark to see the level of student graduation. Effective value management with supporting applications that are very helpful in calculating accurate calculations. That way the use of naïve Bayes technology methods is able to answer problems in the information field of any integrated data. The purpose of this study was to determine the pass rate of students in the implementation of data mining for students who passed and did not pass, based on the final school examination scores (UAS), national test scores (UN), final scores (NA) for the last 3 years, 2017 to 2019. The data study method used in this research is by observation and interviews with resource persons from SMK Putra Jaya School Batam. The auxiliary application in the study used was WEKA to calculate student graduation results. This study used 70 student data as a test of value to be processed and produced a total of 210 data with 167 students who passed and 43 students who did not pass.

Abstract

The development of technology at this time is arguably quite high, especially in the microcontroller and the design of home and traffic security, many developed countries have implemented technology in their traffic systems. Therefore, traffic in Indonesia needs to use additional technological devices to make the effectiveness of signs more efficient and functioning properly, starting from the pedestrian security system on the zebra cross, the method used is a flowchart, which consists of requirements, design, implementation, testing. , maintenance, the result of this study is to design a safety device for zebra cross users.
