Abstract

Making a water level control system using the Arduino-based prototyping method means making a tool to regulate the water level of the pool automatically. The Arduino platform is used to develop the system, which serves as the main regulator that can control various related components and sensors. The prototype design process enables rapid development of iterative control systems. The system was developed and upgraded to meet the desired performance requirements by using Arduino modules, water pump actuators, water level sensors, and additional components such as LCDs, ultrasonic sensors, buzzers, and relays. At first, the water level sensor is used to measure the water level in the tank. The data from the sensor is processed by the Arduino, and a corresponding control signal is generated. This control signal regulates the water pump to discharge water from the tank according to the set point. When developing this prototype, an important factor to consider is the accuracy and reliability of the control system. When designing this tool, scalability and ease of use were also considered. It is expected that this water level control system tool can provide efficient water level regulation solutions for various applications, such as agricultural irrigation, automatic irrigation systems, water level control storage tanks, and others, using an Arduino-based tool approach.

Abstract

This journal presents the "House of Worship Locator," an Android application developed using Xamarin Form framework. Its purpose is to provide residents and visitors of Batam City with an efficient tool to find nearby houses of worship, such as mosques, churches, temples, and other religious sites. The app's implementation involved data collection, database creation, interface design, and rigorous testing. Utilizing GPS technology, it accurately pinpoints users' locations and displays nearby places of worship on an interactive map. Additionally, user-friendly features like search filters, reviews, and ratings enhance the user experience. The "House of Worship Locator" app demonstrates its efficacy through user testing, providing reliable information for users to conveniently find suitable religious venues in Batam City. By offering easy access to religious facilities, this application fosters inclusivity and religious tolerance within the community. It exemplifies the potential of mobile technology in promoting harmony among diverse religious communities in Batam City. The journal concludes by discussing future enhancements and its broader applicability in other urban areas. Through the "House of Worship Locator," Batam City embraces technology to support its citizens' religious needs effectively.

Abstract

Indonesia's diverse cultural heritage includes regional scripts and traditional writings, which currently face the risk of extinction due to limited data and declining use as a means of communication. Introducing the Arab-Malay script has mainly relied on print media, making it less appealing to the millennial generation, who prefer modern technology. This script holds cultural significance, originating from Riau Province and spreading across Indonesia, necessitating preservation for future generations. Augmented Reality (AR) technology is proposed as a solution, integrating 3D computer graphics with the real world to introduce and conserve the Arab-Malay script's richness. Using Unity and the Vuforia library, an AR application can project script images into the real environment using markers and Android smartphones, facilitating easier learning and engagement for younger generations in preserving this heritage.

Abstract

Technology development growth globally has continue to strive to work more effectively and efficiently. One solution is to computerize systems that were previously conventional. In this case, the use of the website can help the library to be more effective. In this study a web-based library application was built using the CodeIgniter Framework. With this system, it is hoped that it can meet various user needs, such as searching for books, recording member data, recording book data, returning books, calculating fines, borrowing books and preparing reports. The system development methodology used in this study is the software development method with the Extreme Programming model. The system was built using the Hypertext Pre Processor (PHP) programming language and MySQL database. The results of this research are that the web-based library information system is intended for library students and staff with a user-friendly web interface, users can search for books, borrow, return, managing library members becomes more practical. In designing a library information system, there are additional features that are quite important, such as data reports on books, members, transactions and fines that can assist in monitoring and making decisions related to library management.

Abstract

Tanaman durian adalah tanaman perkebunan yang berasal dari negara yang beriklim tropis. Tanaman durian ini sangat berpotensi untuk dikembangkan yang didukung oleh beberapa faktor seperti minat yang tinggi terhadap buah durian, Tanjung Batu merupakan produksi dari tanaman durian yang di ambil bibitnya dari negara Malaysia langsung dan ditanam di pulau Tanjung Batu, orang Batam sangat mengenal durian yang berasal dari Tanjung Batu dikarenakan rasa dan buahnya hampir sama persis seperti buah yang ditanam di negara Malaysia jenis - jenisnya sama seperti yang ada di negara Malaysia itu sendiri hanya berbeda tempat ditanamnya saja banyak orang batam yang membeli bibit durian dari Malaysia untuk ditanam dikarenakan ada yang hobby ada juga yang ingin memulai bisnis buah durian, dengan objek penelitian durian peneliti melakukan observasi terhadap penjualan durian dengan menggunakan metode algoritma apriori dibantu dengan software Rapidminer dan peneliti akan mendapatkan hasil dari perhitungan penjualan yang paling banyak diminati dan dicari oleh konsumen yaitu didapati jenis durian Musangking yang paling banyak diminati oleh konsumen karena durian Musangking memiliki rasa yang berbeda diantara durian lainnya dan juga musangking memiliki warna daging yang cantik oleh karena itu durian musangking memiliki banyak peminat, dan juga durian musangking mendapatkan nilai yang paling tinggi dalam perhitungan di aplikasi tersebut yaitu mendapatkan 100% nilai support tertinggi.

Abstract

With advances in information technology, searching and accessing data can be done quickly, efficiently and accurately, one of which is in the library. With current technological developments, it is necessary to have an information system that handles library administration. The information system is related to book data management, member data management, book lending circulation data management. Likewise with cases of problems experienced with the Batam 19 State High School library system. However, so far the library at SMA N 19 Batam still uses a manual management system with all book borrowing transaction processes written in an archive. The lack of use of technology to facilitate access and management of the library at the school can result in too much data being entered using paper and making it difficult for librarians to manage it. Thus causing the level of accuracy of search and storage to be less attention. Therefore researchers are interested in conducting research entitled "Analysis and Design of Web-Based School E-library Applications Using the Scrum Method", to improve the quality and efficiency of designing e-library applications in meeting the needs of the SMA N 19 Batam library. Abstract

In this era of rapid technological development, it is a crucial period where technology has become an inseparable part of everyday life. The significant increase in human activity has triggered various air pollution problems, including burning, waste, industrial waste, vehicle fumes, industrial fumes, and the use of electronic equipment, among others. Additionally, besides the aforementioned problem of air pollution, its impact can also lead to a variety of serious problems and the occurrence of health issues such as asthma, ISPA, lung cancer, and so on. Therefore, an Android-based application was created that can provide information about the current air quality in the user's area. This application can be used to monitor air quality in specific areas based on measurements and data collection. The method used for this research is the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method, which is suitable for developing software in a short time. We have also added a real-time air quality monitoring feature that can monitor air levels to determine if they are within normal levels or not. This allows users to combat air pollution and carry out continuous monitoring without being limited by space and time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan agar dapat memberikan usulan perbaikan tata letak rak penyimpanan bahan baku pada warehouse PT BBA, sehingga dapat memangkas jarak perpindahan bahan baku dengan jarak yang lebih efektif dan efesien. Dengan mengoptimalkan perpindahan pada rancangan layout alternatif yang lebih pendek. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode Activity Relationship Chart, dan aplikasi BLOCPLAN. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan layout awal warehouse PT BBA tidak optimal oleh karena itu maka perlu dilakukan perbaikan perencanaan tata letak rak penyimpanan bahan baku dengan jarak yang lebih pendek dari segi penempatan bahan baku berdasarkan tingkat kebutuhan pada produksi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis layout usulan dengan metode Activity Relationship Chart dan BLOCPLAN dapat lebih pendek dari layout sebelumnya dengan mempertimbangkan derajat kedekatan antar fasilitas. Perbandingan jarak awal 91,4m2 dan layout alternatif 78,77m2 maka didapatkan efisiensi layout alternatif 12,63m2 dan efisiensi sebesar 13,81%.

Abstract

A research was conducted at PT. Wyssa Artha Sejahtera a distribution company, to explore the processing of sales transaction data using the FP Growth algorithm to support better decision-making. The company deals with a large volume of daily sales transaction data involving various types of products, both wet and dry. The study aimed to extract useful information from the sales data, such as sales trends and the most popular products among customers. Data was collected through observations and direct interviews with the company owner from January 2022 to December 2022, using the proactive method for more comprehensive and accurate information. Upon collecting the sales transaction data, the research identified certain products with higher sales than others. RapidMiner software was utilized for processing the sales data, which proved to be suitable for implementing the FP Growth algorithm, especially for wet and dry product types with increasing sales transaction data. In the testing phase, RapidMiner successfully discovered item sets 1, 2, 3, and 4, along with their corresponding support and confidence values.The results of this research carry significant implications for PT. Wyssa Artha Sejahtera in making more informed decisions. By analyzing the sales transaction data, the company can devise more effective strategies to boost sales and meet customer demands. Furthermore, the findings can serve as a valuable reference for other companies in similar industries, helping to enhance their decision-making processes. The FP Growth algorithm analysis revealed that item sets 2, 3, and 4 had a minimum support of 20% and a minimum confidence of 70%.

Abstract

The initial research purposes is to do the analyzing of data transaction for one of the stationary stores in Batam city, namely edukits Batam Centre, because the store is a well-known business and of course many consumers are interested, of course, a lot of data has been collected so far. From transactions that have occurred so far, these data are only stored in the form of archive files without being processed or used for future business progress. To analyze this research, the a priori algorithm association rule method was used, by analysing support value and as well as the confidence value that were set so that the results of this study obtained the support value for the Printing Paper category 71%, Accessories 74%, 77%, Other Equipment 88%, Glue and Adhesive 72%. By using the Apriori algorithm, 2 rules are obtained, namely the antecedent value of stationery, the consequent accessories resulting in a support value of 65% and confidence of 84.4%. Then the second rule is the antecedent of accessories, the consequent of writing instruments with a support value of 65% and a confidence value of 88.4%.
