Abstract

Poor material preparation and untidy warehouse PT. XYZ causes difficulties for employees in picking up materials and long distances for picking up materials that have a high picking frequency. The arrangement of the material layout was redesigned to make it easier to pick up material and shorten the distance for picking up material. To improve the layout of the arrangement and tidiness of the warehousing, researchers use the ABC Classification and the application of 5S. The total distance in the initial layout is 2902 meters while the proposed layout is 2278 meters. OMH in the initial layout of Rp. 1,905,000.00 while the proposed layout is Rp. 1,685,706.00. So the total decrease in OMH is Rp. 219,000.00 / month and the distance efficiency obtained is 21.5% / month.

Abstract

The development of technology today is very fast, without exception, both information and communication technology. Therefore, an efficient step is needed to anticipate it. Information and communication technology is now starting to enter various aspects of life, one of which is in the business world. This is because a lot of work is assisted by information technology which is able to minimize the level of errors even to the level of losses that will occur. PT Sangkakala Indah is a company engaged in the printing sector, namely serving the design of document notes, banners, banners and is currently facing problems in the field of ordering. The ordering system at PT Sangkakala Indah is still done conventionally. For example, in recording orders, making order invoices to taking orders and transaction reports, they still rely on recording on notes and the difficulty of communication between graphic designers and customers. This of course can cause loss or damage to the order data or sales transaction. \Digital printing is a printing method for producing printouts that are done using digital-based images or documents. With this method, documents or print applications can be processed quickly and easily. This digital printing is an innovation from its predecessor, offset printing, which is classified as wasteful of raw materials and production time. Digital printing has advantages such as producing sharp print and color applications, lower costs, being able to print in small quantities, and being able to streamline production timeUser centered design (UCD) is called human centered design.

Abstract

ABSTRACT BP Batam is a government agency that manages flats in Batam City which are located at several points in each sub-district, this Batam City government program really supports low-income people because they are able to provide livable housing for flat residents at affordable prices, but there are several things that become obstacles for flat occupants, one of which is a citizen complaint information system which makes flat residents uncomfortable by submitting reports of damage that has occurred to each flat that must come to the flats office to report complaints, as well as flats. admin / staff who make a report every time there is damage. Therefore we need a system that can simplify and speed up occupants and flat workers in the process of reporting complaints, the system uses the PHP my Admin programming language and My SQL database with the prototyping method. The purpose of creating this system is to make it easier for BP Batam flat occupants to submit their complaints to the admin or flat employees. In addition to facilitating and speeding up the admin work process in reporting damage to flats managed by BP Batam.

Abstract

This research is to find out and analyze the impact of Management Supervision and Work Motivation on Employee Performance. This research was conducted at PT ABC from March 2023 to July 2023. In this study, the population was all employees, totaling 150 people. The independent variables in this study: Management Supervision (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) and the dependent variable is Employee Performance (Y). Data analysis method used in this research is simple linear analysis. The results of the study are Management Supervision and Work Motivation have an influence on Worker Performance of 18.1%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT It is currently impossible to forecast whether it will rain or be sunny in Indonesia, particularly in the city of Batam. This continues to be a significant issue for those who are drying clothes, particularly in wet weather. Weather like this makes some people concerned because they don't have time to pick up the clothesline in wet circumstances, so they frequently leave clothing that have dried in the sun to travel. In addition, Indonesia's tropical climate frequently has extended rainy seasons, and there are several places with high rainfall, which gives us pause when air-drying garments outside the house. Most individuals hang their clothing to dry on the house's terrace during the rainy season. This is done to prevent precipitation from drying out on clothes when their owners are out and about. The author derived a design for an automatic clothesline puller from the description of the issue given above. This device incorporates a rain sensor and a light dependent resistor sensor into an Arduino Uno microcontroller. For this tool to draw the clothesline to a location that is shielded from rainwater, it first uses the rain sensor and the LDR sensor to sense the weather around it. When the sensor does not get light, the equipment will translate rain. The tool will move the clothesline to a location where it is exposed to the sun when the sensor detects sunshine since it will interpret this as a sign that it is hot outside. While raindrops are being detected by the rain sensor. When drying clothing during the rainy season, it is hoped that the development of an automatic clothesline puller will help people feel less anxious.

Abstract

Inventory management is an important aspect for good planning in business activities. The application of inventory management in it is a primary need if there is a problem with the supply of raw materials, all operational activities will be disrupted, the problem in this study is that there are often empty P304C laying quail stocks, so many consumers complain. Predicting demand accurately is very difficult because Tani Raya cannot predict consumer desires, so it must carefully plan the inventory so that it is not too large and not too small. this study used the EOQ method. The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the control of feed inventory of p304c laying quails using the Economy Order Quantity method in SME tani raya. The results obtained by the optimal frequency of purchases are carried out 12 times a year with a total purchase of 14,000 kg, with a safety stock of 1,514 kg. Reordering is carried out when the inventory of goods remains 14, 514 kg or 14, 500 kg. the calculated EOQ method produces a total cost of Rp. 2,509,976 while the conventional method is Rp. 7,539,873, with a difference of Rp. 5,029,897.

Abstract

The sales business field is indeed interesting to be pursued, not only for companies or organizations, but also by the wider community who are trying hard to develop businesses in this field. However, often their hard efforts to increase sales are not matched by the use of good information systems, causing several problems to arise.This problem arises because many organizations or companies still rely on conventional systems in various processes such as ordering goods, processing data, storing data, and preparing sales reports. To provide satisfactory service to customers and produce accurate information, Bs Collection Stores really need a computerized information system and good data processing. Therefore, it is necessary to design and build a sales information system that uses a MySQL database. The method used in designing and building this system is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). By using the SDLC method, the process of designing and implementing a sales system, especially at Bs Collection Stores, will become more structured, planned and efficient, so that problems can be overcome. It is hoped that the problems faced by Bs Collection Stores can be properly resolved through the use of a computerized sales information system and the SDLC method.

Abstract

PT Van Oord Batam is an international company in of Batam. Based on the data from 2020-2022 there have been several cases of work accidents, to reduce accidents at workpace, it is necessary to conduct a program of prevention accidents. Risk assessment includes hazard identification, potential hazard analysis, risk assessment, risk control, monitoring and evaluation. In the process of identification and conducting analysis of potential hazards can use the Hazard and Operability study method. The Result is: there are 15 levels of risk of rotation of grind, splashes of steel dust of the ship wall, material emitted, noise emitted by the compressor, the splash of the wall paint of the vessel, the noise removed by chipping machine, a noise released by the grind, a fire splash when using a grind, exposed to welding light, the heat removed of the welding machine, brushes removed, brush noise, paint and tinner chemicals, dust removals from the wind of the Compressor, smoke removed during welding. The solution in the control or prevention of work accidents in the maintenance department of PT VAN OORD BATAM is the improvement of discipline in the use of PPE as well as adding to the K3 training program.

Abstract

All products must have aesthetic value in order to attract customer interest, one of which is to apply color coating by carrying out the painting process. This research was conducted at the painting department at PT XYZ where the color coating process on nonflip bof products was carried out without the use of tools according to product specifications, as a result the product fell due to wind pressure from the spray gun causing the nonflip bof product to become deformed and the target was not reached. Based on this, the researcher intends to conduct research on the design of work aids for the painting process of nonflip bof products using the Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) method. Based on the DFMA analysis, the design of this tool was assembled with a total of 10 components and a manufacturing cost of IDR 2,608,163 and a manufacturing time of 3.82 hours. From the test results after using the tools from the design results, it was found that the painting process of nonflip bof only took 3.64 minutes for one time painting process of 20 units of nonflip bof products with a total output of 1 working day producing 1,860 units.

Abstract

The process of collecting manual input data info Microsoft Exel takes a long time, data management cannot be done by several warehouse admins at the same time, making inventory reports is often not on time from schedule because they have to recapitulate goods receipt data and goods expenditure data, submit inventory reports to the department takes a long time, data management errors often occur in entering data, deleting data. Microsoft Excel also cannot store data and information centrally in a database, so there is often a discrepancy between the information obtained and data loss caused by human error. Agile development methods are a methodology in software development that is based on an iterative process consisting of rules and agreed solutions. With the aim to produce a software that has a high selling value but uses the lowest possible manufacturing costs. So as to obtain research results in the form of applications built for inventory input systems, namely with web-based agile methods.
