Abstract

The growth of e-commerce is driving an increase in the number of product reviews, but notall reviews are informative and relevant. This study aims to build a Tokopedia reviewclassification system using the Naive Bayes algorithm to filter relevant reviews. The datasetused totaled 40,607 product review lines. The preprocessing process includes cleaning,tokenization, stopword removal, and feature transformation using TF-IDF with 5,000 featurewords. Labels are determined based on ratings, where a rating of 4-5 is considered relevant.The Multinomial Naive Bayes model yielded an accuracy of 93.71%, a precision of 0.94, arecall of 0.99 for the relevant class, and an F1-score of 0.96. Although performance inirrelevant classes is still low, this model is effective in supporting product recommendations

Abstract

Consumer purchasing pattern analysis is a strategic approach to understanding customer behavior and supporting data-driven decision-making. This research was conducted at AHHAS PT. Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Batam with the aim of identifying relationships between motorcycle service items that are frequently selected together by consumers. The method used is the Association Rules algorithm, specifically Apriori, with a quantitative approach applied to 4,026 transaction records from April to June 2025. The data were analyzed through preprocessing, one-hot encoding, and the application of the Apriori algorithm using parameters of minimum support of 5%, confidence of 30%, and lift > 1. The results showed 80 frequent itemsets and 38 valid association rules. The rule with the highest lift was Oil Chang}-Gear Set, indicating a strong correlation between the two services. Other patterns such as Spooring → Front Tire and Air Filter Balancing also showed significant associations. These findings can be utilized to design service bundling strategies, automatic recommendation systems, and optimize stock and workforce management. This study proves that the Apriori algorithm is effective in uncovering hidden patterns within transaction data, enhancing operational efficiency and service quality in the automotive sector.

Abstract

Smart homes are part of an innovation in the application of the Internet Of Things, it can be seen that its application is able to automatically control almost all objects in the house. The purpose of the Internet Of Things (IoT) is continuously developed, one of which is to expand the use of the internet which is getting wider every day. With the development of technology and the existence of the Internet Of Things (IoT) which can be used in various fields of human needs today, for example with the existence of electronic room lighting devices that can be controlled remotely by utilizing an internet connection and controlled via an Android smartphone with a telegram application. In this study, a prototype of an automatic room lamp based on IoT was built, using the NodeMCU ESP8266 module as a microcontroller and to control remotely using the bot in the Telegram application. Based on the results of the trials carried out, it produced an IoT application that was able to control the lights from the telegram bot, so it can be concluded that the system can work well according to its objectives.

Abstract

Employee attendance is a crucial factor in determining company performance and productivity. Therefore, an accurate and efficient attendance system is needed to ensure compliance with working hours. This study aims to design a monitoring-based attendance system using Face Recognition technology at PT. Global Benua Bajatama. The technology is used to automatically detect and recognize employee faces. The research method applied is qualitative, involving system design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), database design, and testing the accuracy of facial detection as well as analyzing the system’s effectiveness. The results show that the face detection accuracy ranges from 80% to 95% under optimal conditions. These conditions include employees not wearing facial accessories such as masks, sunglasses, or safety helmets, and maintaining a face-to-camera distance of about 40–50 cm. Under these circumstances, the system can detect and recognize faces quickly and accurately, producing attendance data that meets the required specifications. The implementation of this system improves the efficiency of the attendance process and reduces the potential for errors compared to manual attendance recording.

Abstract

Particularly in the food industry, like Shakeel Kebab MSME, sales are a crucial performance metric. The lack of a data-driven method to predict future sales trends is one of the main issues. Using historical sales data from 2022 to 2024, this analysis predicts food sales using the Mamdani fuzzy logic method. Fuzzification, rule formation, inference, and defuzzification are all steps in the research process, and MATLAB software is used for implementation. The outcomes show that the fuzzy system can correctly identify sales trends. For example, the system generated a defuzzification value of 91.67 in September 2024, and consistently 80 in November and December. These outcomes demonstrate that the Mamdani fuzzy method is effective in supporting predictive decision-making for food sales, especially for small business owners.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction assessment is a crucial aspect for fast food company. This study aims to analyze customer satisfaction levels at KFC Gelael, Palm Spring Batam using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The research identifies five key criteria: product quality, cleanliness, service, price, and atmosphere. Data were collected through online questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who had visited KFC Gelael, Palm Spring Batam. The analytical stages include deretmining cost and benefits attributes, decision matrix formulation, data normalization, criteria weighting, and ranking using the SAW method. The results show that most customers rated KFC’s services as satisfactory, with the highest SAW score reaching 0.967. in conclusion, the SAW method proves effective in supporting decision-making based on customer satisfaction priorities and can serve as a strategic cconsideration for KFC management in improving customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The creation and design of an instructional Android game intended to enhance concentration in youngsters with impairments is covered in this study. The growing need for interactive learning aids that are accessible and inclusive was the driving force behind the initiative. The game was created using Unity and C#, with visual components created in Inkscape, following the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) testing. The black box testing was used for system testing, whereas observations, interviews, and questionnaires were used for data gathering. Children with a wide range of impairments may easily interact with the game thanks to its straightforward UI components, Large Buttons, and visually appealing environments. Beta testing with ten users, including parents and teachers, showed that the game was interesting, simple to use, and successful in assisting kids in concentration. Alpha testing verified that all features functioned as expected and without errors. Additionally, the game records user development so that parents and teachers can keep an eye on attention spans. According to the findings, this education game has great promise as a helpful resource for inclusive education, offering an enjoyable and engaging approach to enhancing cognitive attention.

Abstract

This study alims to analyze consumer standards for Amanda Brownies product packaging using the BackMarking and House of Quality methods. The results of the study indicate that there are 19 criteria that are consumer standards for the product packaging. In competitor analysis, BackMarking identified the malin competitors in the Amanda Brownies UKM product packaging category. Based on the results of the House of Quality analysis, the normalized ralw weight value shows the grealtest demand from consumers regarding Amanda Brownies packaging design, with al value range between 0.013. Several criteria that are consumer priorities in packaging design are Attractive Packaging Shape (B1), Packaging that Displays Expiration Date Clearly (B7), Packaging Material Thickness (B16), and Packaging that Displays Slogan/Tagline (B19). In designing packaging products, the technical elements that are the malin priority are Letter Color Variants (Priority 1), Writing Font Dimensions (Priority 2), Color Variants (Priority 3), and Tagline Description (Priority 4). These findings provide important insights for the development of Amanda Brownies product packaging that suits consumer needs and preferences.

Abstract

This research was conducted at TB Indosatu Batam, a building materials retail company, with the aim of analyzing the implementation of the 5S method (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke) on work effectiveness. Problems found in the company’s work environment include a lack of employee discipline, inefficient material arrangement, limited workspace, and poor cleanliness. The research method used was direct implementation of the 5S approach, carried out through initial observation, execution of the 5S program, and evaluation of the results. The findings indicate that systematic application of the 5S method has a positive impact on the work environment. The Seiri stage helped eliminate unnecessary items and optimize space usage. The Seiton stage facilitated easier access to materials through structured organization. The Seiso stage enhanced work comfort through scheduled cleaning. The Seiketsu stage maintained consistency with standardized procedures. The Shitsuke stage fostered a disciplined work culture through training and reward systems. Implementation of the 5S method effectively improved work efficiency, organization of material layout, and created a cleaner, safer, and more productive work environment at TB Indosatu Batam.
