Abstract

In this process, employees who carry out deburing activities have various risks of work accidents and hazards that can be detrimental to employees and the company. Like a hand squeezed by a machine, the residual dust that is generated can cause coughing and shortness of breath. In January 2022 there was a work accident that caused an employee's hand to be injured because it was pinched by a machine in the injection molding department. The purpose of this study is to prevent work accidents and implement OHS with the aim of improving the performance of employees, especially in the deburing work process. The method used is Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Determining Control (HIRADC). The results of the study were that there were no more types of hazardous activities or situations with extreme and high levels of risk, activities or hazardous situations with moderate risk levels became 42 risks (70%), activities or hazardous situations with low levels of risk became 5 risks (8.33%).

Abstract

Today's IOT (Internet Of Things) technology is very popular, with interactions between objects and humans can communicate with each other or objects with objects can also communicate with each other, as well as the application to security in anticipating unexpected fires, or monitoring the situation using early detection sensors, so a smoke detection prototype is made using the MQ-2 sensor and milk detection using the DS18B20 sensor. This detection tool uses Arduino Mega, (MQ-2) and DS18B20, then if there is a fire to extinguish using a Selenoid Valve tool used for water dispensing valves, then to neutralize the air using an Exhaust Fan, this Exhaust Fan is also used to neutralize the air in the room even though there is no smoke detected, The point is to maintain the room temperature so that it is not impermeable and hot in the room, then don't forget also for the notification using two SIM800L notification systems for SMS and NODE MCU ESP32, for NODE MCU ESP32 this uses a Wireless Connection, the two notifications work alternately if one of the notification tools does not work. The method used in this research uses the experimental method. This tool is tested and implemented on a square 50 x 50 cm of hardware and provides the expected and appropriate results. The temperature will be detected above 50°C (Celsius).

Abstract

Technology in this era is growing rapidly and cannot be separated in many significant influences. In this era many systems are very fast and efficient in a good and the best way including security system such as automatic lock security. The security system which are very much found in the community and one of the security system is security for house fence. In this system there is so many and dangerous problems that cause robbery and the fence being destroy by bad people starting from several case and a lot of criminals that been found because the lock security system is not in a good way. There is a lot of fence and house are not in a good and automatic security dan make everyone is safe and lock the house especially the fence without feeling worried.In this research the authors conducted some major impact based on the background that has been explain by creating an automatic lock system for fences using arduino technology which is the center and the core of this research and this research is using fingerprint as a tool to be able to open an automatic lock system and it can open.

Abstract

Network security is a very important aspect in maintaining information security. In network management using proxy devices, use of firewall filtering and port knocking in an effort to increase security and control network access and hide services that are not needed. In addition to obtaining information on suspicious network activity in real-time with telegram notifications. The method used includes analysis of network security needs, system architecture design, firewall filtering and port knocking configurations on the proxy and integration with the telegram API to send notifications. The results of this study show that using firewall filtering and port knocking on Mikrotik can effectively improve network security by limiting unauthorized access and reducing the risk of attacks from outside. The system is also capable of providing notifications via telegram when suspicious activity is detected, thus enabling a network administrator to respond quickly to these threats

Abstract

Swallow's nest is a material that provides great benefits, especially in relation to health and also as a profitable export/import commodity. However, it is not surprising that the swallow's nest business requires a lot of capital and swallow's nest products must be of high quality. Therefore, in swallow nest processing there are several important stages such as cleaning, shaping, drying and packing. From the above process, it is clear that the scale is a measure of water content which also affects the selling price, so a swallow hatcher is needed. The drying process greatly affects the quality of the swallow product/nest. If the swallow nest is too dry, there is a decrease in the weight of the material which can be dangerous. If it is too moist, mould will form and there may also be dirt. At this stage, drying is still done manually with the help of a fan. The fan is turned on for an hour, but sometimes the workers forget to turn off the fan, causing the swallow's nest to dry too much, which also results in a waste of electricity. The design of this dryer uses a sensor to turn on the lights and a timer to determine the time needed. With this tool can help workers in managing swallow nest dryers. The existence of this tool also helps businesses to be able to dry swallow nests automatically. Keywords: Dryer, Sensor, Timer, and Arduino

Abstract

As a gesture of appreciation for successful accomplishments or performance, incentives might take the shape of higher pay, bonuses, prizes, or other rewards. Giving incentives is mostly done to boost the receivers' productivity, motivation, and performance. The Gantt Task and Bonus System method requires the workshop to spend Rp. 5,320,000 and Rp. 5,590,000 in the third and fourth weeks of May, respectively. The method used in this study is production standard output, which results in the calculation of each method being that the workshop needs to spend these amounts. The workshop must pay Rp. 4,864,000 and Rp. 5,044,500 for the Taylor Piece Wage method in the third and fourth weeks of May, respectively. The workplace only pays minimum wage to those who fall short of the goal they were assigned, and those who meet or surpass the goal are awarded an incentive worth 20% of their regular pay

Abstract

Surya Jaya Electronic & Furniture, the author found many obstacles due to the accumulation of annual sales data. This made it difficult for the company to know the availability of existing goods and could not predict which goods or products were most in demand by customers and sold the most. Implementation of data mining with the a priori algorithm on Surya Jaya Electronic & Furniture found that in June there were 23 data points for item set 2, 8 data points for item set 3, and 35 data points for item set 4. In the July period, there were 19 data points for item set 2, 13 data points for item set 3, and 33 data points for item set 4, and in the August period, there were 15 data points for item set 2, 1 data point for item set 3, and 7 data points for item set 4.

Abstract

PT Team Metal Indonesia is a company located in Bintang Industrial Park II Area, Tanjung Uncang, Batam City. Many targets cannot be met by operators and a lot of idle time is caused by the absence of time standards set by the company. This study aims to determine the standard time needed by CNC machine operators to complete each job and to determine the productivity of CNC machine operators. The data collection method in this study is primary data obtained directly from measurements carried out at the production site using stopwacth. While the data analysis method uses the stopwach time study method. The results of the study calculated the raw time of making 1 pcs is 1470,325 seconds. The standard time per work element for Material Installation is 150.7037 seconds, the Chip Cleaning and Tool checking process produces a standard time of 19.05648 seconds and Material Opening is 128.5649 seconds, and for the output produced by the operator in one shift can be produced as much as 14-16 pcs in one shift before the standard time is determined, and can be produced as many as 17 pcs in one shift after the standard time is set.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In today's rapidly developing technology era, the use of technology is already familiar. Today's human life cannot be separated from the use of technology. PT Sri Indah Mandiri is one of the distributors of building materials on the island of Batam, which provides various kinds of building materials. So far, orders for building materials have been made verbally, namely by telephone or when buyers come directly to the office to place orders. Currently, orders made verbally via telephone often result in miscommunication. When this happens, PT Sri Indah Mandiri as the seller, must resend the goods according to the buyer's order, causing the buyer to be slow in getting the materials he needs, which can disrupt the smooth running of their work. This study aims to design a customer order project information system to improve accuracy and reduce the time to order building materials for PT Sri Indah Mandiri. The system design method used is an agile method with the scrum model. The results of the study show that the designed system can eliminate miscommunication and reduce the time needed to order goods so as to increase the operational efficiency and effectiveness of PT Sri Indah Mandiri.

Abstract

The piercing mill machine is one of the machines used by the company PT Rainbow Tubulars Manufacturing in producing Oil country Tubular Goods (OCTG) seamless pipes. The work process in operating the piercing mill machine includes sprinkling salt and pushing the pipe directly exposed to high heat, noise, smoke and extreme dust. The company has established controls such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) training, but these control efforts have not been maximized, due to a lack of awareness and compliance in using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The purpose of this study is to identify the risks of operating a piercing mill machine using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method, calculate and analyze the value of the risk, and provide recommendations to the company. Research data was obtained by documentation, observation, interviews, and discussions with production supervisors and OSH experts. The results of this study obtained four job structures and 27 work stages and 31 sources of risk. There are three very high risks, including splashing of billet material with high temperatures, exposure to heat, dust and high noise. providing tools such as replacing tools that are no longer suitable for use.
