Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic disease whose incidence is constantly increasing, often caused by a lack of knowledge about proper nutritional intake. The goal is to investigate the relationship between public knowledge about nutritional intake and the emergence of type 2 diabetes mellitus in the Sukodono Health Center area. Observation of correlation analysis using a cross-sectional approach. A total of 55 patients were collected using the simple random sampling method to be used as a sample. Nutritional intake knowledge questionnaires as well as blood sugar checks during fasting were used for data collection. Data analysis in this study used the chi-square test. While patients with low knowledge had fasting glucose levels showing unmanaged spikes, reaching a figure of about 63.6%, those who understood the condition of diabetes well were generally better able to maintain the stability of glucose levels in their bodies. Knowledge of nutrient intake and the incidence of type 2 diabetes showed a relevant and significant correlation (p=0.019). Health education related to nutritional intake has proven to be important in the management and prevention of complications of diabetes mellitus. Improving education and health interventions is a crucial step to reduce the incidence of type 2 DM.

Anemia occurs when the number of erythrocytes is below the standard value, resulting in less blood carrying oxygen supply to all body tissues. Iron deficiency leads to blood loss. One of the preventive measures is taking blood supplement tablets, but knowledge and consumption of Fe tablets are still relatively low. The study aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge and consumption of Fe tablets with the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Mu'awanah Sidoarjo Regency. The cross-sectional study was conducted in March 2025 involving 40 female respondents, selected by purposive sampling. Data on knowledge and consumption of Fe tablets were obtained from a questionnaire, while the examination of hemoglobin levels was measured using the Easy Touch Glucose Cholesterol Hemoglobin tool. The results showed that 60% of respondents had good knowledge, 60% regularly consumed Fe tablets, and 62.5% were not anemic. Statistical test analysis was significant, namely the relationship between knowledge and the incidence of anemia (p = 0.000) and Fe tablet consumption with the incidence of anemia (p = 0.046). In conclusion, increasing good knowledge and consuming Fe tablets tends not to be anemic. Therefore, there is a need for continuous health education and routine health monitoring on an ongoing basis.

Stroke is the leading cause of death and disability globally, so the role of caregivers is important in meeting the long-term care needs of stroke patients. This study aims to describe the support received by caregivers with stroke. This study uses a qualitative descriptive design with a total sampling approach with a total of 41 caregiver respondents. The instruments used were questionnaires that included emotional support, reward support, instrumental support, and informational support, collected through live interviews. The data were analyzed univariately to describe the percentage of support. The results showed that the majority of caregivers received good instrumental support (87.80%), followed by information support (78.05%), emotional support (75.61%), and reward support (63.41%). These findings indicate that, although instrumental support and information are quite high, efforts are still needed to improve emotional support and appreciation for caregivers with stroke for optimal long-term care. This study emphasizes the importance of interventions that focus on holistic support for caregivers.

Pneumonia is the most prevalent and possibly fatal respiratory illness among children under five. The purpose of this study is to look at the connection between family smoking habits, nutritional status, and the prevalence of pneumonia in children under five in the Candi Health Center's working region. 43 families with children ages 0 days to under 5 years who sought treatment at the Candi Health Center were chosen using the sequential sampling technique. This study employs descriptive analysis and a cross-sectional methodology. 86% of participants in the research had acceptable nutritional status. Furthermore, according to 80% of families, at least one person smokes at home. Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square Test revealed no significant correlation between the incidence of pneumonia and baby nutritional health (p=0.190); nevertheless, there was a high correlation between the incidence of pneumonia in infants and family smoking (p=0.000). Toddlers' health is negatively impacted by family smoking practices, particularly because it raises their risk of pneumonia. Families with small children should know how important it is to keep smoking away from them, safeguard their health, and take them to the doctor on a regular basis for exams.

Gastritis is an inflammation of the gastric mucosa that can be caused by various factors, both internal and external, such as irregular eating patterns and excessive coffee consumption. In recent years, the number of gastritis cases in the Wonoayu Community Health Center working area has shown a significant increase. This indicates the importance of preventive efforts by understanding the risk factors that can cause gastritis, especially those related to lifestyle. This study aims to determine and analyze the relationship between diet and coffee consumption with the incidence of gastritis in people visiting the Wonoayu Community Health Center. This study used a quantitative method with a descriptive correlation design and a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were patients diagnosed with gastritis at the Wonoayu Community Health Center, with a sample of 63 respondents taken using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection instruments were questionnaires and medical record data. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test with a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed that the majority of respondents had a diet in the adequate category (63.5%) and coffee consumption in the moderate category (42.9%). The results of the chi-square statistical test showed a significant association between diet and the incidence of gastritis (p = 0.000) and between coffee consumption and the incidence of gastritis (p = 0.000). These findings support previous theories and research suggesting that poor diet and excessive coffee consumption can trigger increased stomach acid production, thereby increasing the risk of irritation of the gastric mucosa and the development of gastritis.
