Abstract

Reading is an important key in the learning process, lack of reading ability is a problem in this study. Students still stutter when reading, when students are asked to read some simple sentences presented by the teacher in front of the class, students need quite a long time to read and are not fluent. The problem in this study is "How are the activities of teachers and students in improving early reading skills using the scramble learning model and how are the results of the early reading skills of class I students of SDN 1 Jeumpet Aceh Besar". The purpose of this study is to improve the early reading skills of class 1 students of SDN 1 Jeumpet Aceh Besar through the scramble model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which is carried out cyclically, with research subjects consisting of 7 male students and 5 female students. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and observations. Tests are used to see the improvement of students' early reading skills and observations are used to see student activities in the learning process and teacher activities in managing learning through the scramble model. The results of this study indicate that the application of the scramble model can improve students' early reading skills. The increase in value in cycle I has not met the target, only reaching 73.75%, then increasing in cycle II to reach completion of 83.33%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that through the scramble model, it can improve the ability to read early.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Role Playing learning method to student learning outcomes in narrative text material in grade IV of Rantau Panjang State Elementary School. The Role Playing method is a learning strategy that involves students in role-playing activities, so that they can understand the material more interactively and enjoyably. The purpose of the study was to determine the application of the role playing method to student learning outcomes in narrative text material in grade IV at Rantau Panjang State Elementary School, Aceh Tamiang Regency. The approach in this study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. This research was conducted at Rantau Panjang State Elementary School. The subjects of this study were all 15 fourth-grade students at Rantau Panjang State Elementary School. Data were obtained through interviews and tests. The results showed that the Role Playing method had a positive impact on student involvement in learning and improved their understanding of narrative text. Students were more enthusiastic and able to compose narrative texts better after participating in learning with this method. These findings indicate that the Role Playing method can be an effective learning strategy in improving student learning outcomes..

Abstract

This research aims to determine the difficulties teachers have in implementing the independent curriculum in the learning process at SD Negeri Garot Aceh Besar. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The research subjects were teachers of grades I, II, IV and V. Data collection was carried out by observation, and interviews. The data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that teachers' difficulties in implementing the independent curriculum in planning, implementing and assessing learning are difficulties in analyzing CP, formulating TP and compiling ATP and Teaching Modules, determining learning methods and strategies, lack of ability to use technology, limited student books, lack of ability and readiness. using learning methods and media, teaching materials are too broad, determining class I, II, IV and V projects, lack of time allocation for project-based learning, determining the form of assessment and form of assessment in project-based learning. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that teachers' difficulties in implementing the Independent Curriculum for the Learning Process at the Garot Aceh Besar State Elementary School are in implementation planning and learning assessment.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is learning that is developed to respond to the needs of different students in the learning process. The ability to write poetry here is combined with acrostic techniques. The acrostic technique can be used as a learning strategy to increase motivation to work and at the same time as an alternative to make things easier for students. The research aims to determine the increase in poetry writing abilities and student learning outcomes. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year at Lamkunyet State Elementary School. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) or Classroom Action Research using 3 cycles. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in the ability to write poetry in class V of Lamkunyet State Elementary School. The application of the acrostic technique in improving learning to write poetry shows an improvement from moderate to very good criteria. The results of the research show that student learning outcomes increase due to the influence of differentiation learning on poetry material using the acrostic technique. There was an increase of 25.94% in learning outcomes, from the initial condition of 30.66% to 56.60%. The final results of this research show that differentiation learning using acrostic techniques is very influential in increasing students' competence in poetry writing skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the Utilization of Picture Media and student learning outcomes in SBdP Learning Illustrated Picture Materials for Grade V Students of SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh City. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. The research subjects were Class V-A students for the 2022/2023 academic year, which consisted of 23 students consisting of 10 male students and 13 female students. The research instruments used were observation sheets, tests and a list of questions and other observations to obtain research data. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and tests. The data analysis technique used by the study uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely percentages, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Picture Illustration of Grade V Students at SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh City is already good. Painting picture media can be a very effective tool in improving learning outcomes because it can improve visual memory helping students to remember information more easily because it can show pictures or illustrations that can give a stronger impression on students' brains. It is hoped that future researchers will examine more deeply with a comparison of two schools using the use of media images in the learning process stract contains a brief description of the research objectives, methods used, instruments, data analysis techniques, and research results. The emphasis of writing abstracts is mainly on research results. Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English. Abstract typing is done single-spaced with margins that are narrower than the right and left margins of the main text. Keywords need to be included to describe the realm of the problem under study and the main terms that underlie the implementation of the research. Key words can be single words or a combination of words. The number of key words 3-5 words. These key words are necessary for computerization. Searching for research titles and abstracts is made easier with these key words.

Abstract

This study is based on the importance of quality education in improving the quality of learning. One approach that can be applied is the Role Playing learning model, which allows students to learn actively through roles in learning scenarios. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the application of the Role Playing model on student learning outcomes on food chain material in grade V of SD Negeri Lamtheun, Aceh Besar. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain an overview of students' experiences and responses in learning using the Role Playing model. The results showed that the application of this model increased students' understanding of the concept of the food chain, encouraged active participation, and improved their communication skills. In addition, the learning atmosphere becomes more interesting and enjoyable, so that students can more easily understand the material concretely. Based on the results of the study, the Role Playing model has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes. Therefore, this model is recommended to be applied in science learning to create a more active, creative, and meaningful learning environment.

Abstract

The learning process still focuses on the teacher and does not utilize technological media, thus affecting learning outcomes that are not optimal. One solution that can be used is the use of interactive learning media, based on Kahoot educational game media. This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of using Kahoot educational game media on student learning outcomes in Pancasila education learning material on social and cultural diversity in class IV SDN 32 Banda Aceh. This study used a quantitative approach with the type of research Quasi Experimental and Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study involved all fourth grade students of SDN 32 Banda Aceh, totaling 58 students. The sample in the study was divided into two groups, namely the experimental class totaling 30 students and the control class totaling 28 students selected using the total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through giving pre-test and post-test using an instrument in the form of a multiple choice test consisting of 20 questions. To measure significant differences in learning outcomes between experimental and control classes, researchers used the Mann-Whitney test. The results of data analysis showed the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 0.05, which indicates a significant difference between learning outcomes using Kahoot educational game media and conventional learning, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The conclusion in this study is that there is an effect of using Kahoot educational game media on student learning outcomes in Pancasila education learning material on social and cultural diversity in class IV SDN 32 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Low student attention in the learning process can affect less than optimal learning outcomes. One solution that can be applied is the use of interactive learning media, such as Wordwall, which can support learning activities in the classroom and increase student attention to achieve better learning outcomes. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of Wordwall media on student learning outcomes in IPAS subjects in Class IV SDN 2 Mata Ie, Aceh Besar District. This study used a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental research type and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study involved all students of class IV SDN 2 Mata Ie totaling 40 students. The sample in the study was divided into two groups, namely the experimental class totaling 23 students and the control class totaling 17 students selected using the total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by administering a pre-test and post-test using an instrument in the form of a multiple-choice test consisting of 10 questions. To measure significant differences in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class, the researcher used the Mann-Whitney test. The results of the data analysis showed the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 0.05, which indicates a significant difference between learning outcomes using Wordwall and conventional learning, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of Wordwall media on student learning outcomes in IPAS subjects in Class IV SDN 2 Mata Ie Kab. Aceh Besar.
