Abstract

The purposes of the research were : (1) to do research  effect of gypsum on CO exhaust gas emission level of Yamaha MIO AT motorcycle 2010. (2) To do research  effect of rotation engine on CO exhaust gas emission level of Yamaha MIO AT motorcycle 2010. (3) To do research interactive effect installation gypsum and rotation engine on CO exhaust gas emission level of Yamaha MIO AT motorcycle 2010. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) There were effect installation gypsum on muffler on CO exhaust gas emission level of Yamaha MIO AT motorcycle 2010 and from the data presented indicate that the level emission of CO were lower than before using gypsum. (2) There were effect rotation engine on CO exhaust gas emission level of Yamaha MIO AT motorcycle 2010 and from the data presented indicate that the level emission of CO were lower when rotation engine 2500 rpm than rotation engine 1500 rpm and 3500 rpm. (3) There were interactive effect insatallation gypsum and rotation engine on CO and exhaust gas emission level of Yamaha MIO AT motorcycle 2010 and shows the level emission of CO more lower. (4) The lowest CO exhaust gas emission level of 5.57% volume was found by the use of gypsum II (thickly 10 mm) and with rotation engine 2500 rpm.Keywords : Gypsum, Rotation Engine, CO Exhaust Gas Emission

Abstract

The purposes of this research are: (1) To determine the effectchemical composition and microstructure of arearepairweldingresultswithoxyacetylene, TIGandMIG weld methodon aluminium castwheels. (2) To determine thehardnessand impact toughnessathigh of arearepairweldingresultswithoxyacetylene, TIGandMIG weld methodon aluminium castwheels. The research has donein the laboratory ofINLASTEKSurakarta. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative uses experimental methods.The Object  in this research used arealuminium castwheels. Techniques of data analysis in this research using descriptive data analysis that is directly observed experimental results are then analyzed and summing up the results of the research. As an input parameter in analyzing the data include:the testing of chemical composition, microstructure, hardnessandimpact. From  the research, we can conclude that the chemical compositionon aluminium castwheelsincludingalloyAluminum Silicon, because the element Si alloyisthe largest, ie7.38%Si. The highesthardness number ofoxyacetyleneweldingresultsby54.80BHNinthe weld areaand38.69BHNinthe HAZ. The lowesthardness number ofMIGweldingresultsby44.18BHNinthe weld areaand TIG welding results by 38.69BHNinthe HAZ. The highestimpact number ofresults TIG welding with impact number average0.114joules /mm². The lowestimpact number ofresultsoxy-acetylene welding with impact number average0.085joules/mm².

Abstract

Maping of mechanic automotif competension in Surakarta. The Result, we can conlude that : (1) the profile automotive mechanic in Surakarta is relevance with Indonesian National Work Competence Standards(SKKNI), the precentage  of relevance reached  88.14%.  (2) The research found that there was  preferred mechanical competence there were; competence attitude, encouragement, hard worker, discipline, responsibility, dedication, service, honest  and creativity had level as high as 100%, obedient was 96 %,  carrier planning was 92 %, service orientation 100%, honesty 100%

Abstract

The purposes of this research as follows to know the positive influence between teaching skill of the teacher and school facility of the study toward student achievementin subject Automotive Motor Repair grade XI TKR SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo either partially or simultaneously. This research uses quantitative research by inferensial statistical analysis planning. The population consists of 169 students. The sample consists of 118 students. The technique for collecting data is using questionnaire, and documentation. Based on data analysis result can be concluded such as: there is a positive influence between teaching skill of the teacher toward student achievement in subject Automotive Motor Repair, It is due to simple test linear regression available coefficient varible teaching skills of teachers is 0.5566. results of simple correlation analysis r=0.546 and commencing t testing=7.019>ttable=1.981, there is a positive influence between school facility of the study toward student achievement in subject Automotive Motor Repair, It is due to results of simple correlation analysis r=0.418 and commencing ttesting 7.019>ttable=1.981, there is a positive influence between teaching skill and school facility of the study toward student achievement in subject Automotive Motor Repair, It is based on the results of multiple linear regression result of value variable regression coefficient teaching skills is 0.479 and variable regression coefficient teaching skills in the school is 0.246, the results of multiple correlation analysis is r=0.607 an commencing Ftesting=33.605>Ftable=3.075.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk : (1) Mengetahui pengaruh variasi jenis bentonit terhadap tingkat permeabilitas pada cetakan pasir green sand. (2) Mengetahui pengaruh variasi jenis bentonit terhadap kekuatan tekan pada cetakan pasir green sand. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Politeknik Manufaktur Ceper Klaten dengan menggunakan bahan utama berupa pasir silika, bentonit dan air. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah cetakan pasir green sand yang mempunyai komposisi campuran pasir silika ? air dengan jenis bentonit yang berbeda (Ultra Bent ?A, Ultra Bent ?B, dan BK). Cetakan pasir dibuat dengan cara manual, dengan komposisi standar sebesar 1000 gr pasir : 90 gr bentonit : 4,5 ml air. Pengujian spesimen dilakukan 2 kali yaitu pengujian tingkat permeabilitas yang menggunakan alat Permeability Tester dan pengujian kekuatan tekan yang menggunakan alat Universal Sand Strength Machine. Teknik yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah data diskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah : (1) Adanya pengaruh variasi jenis bentonit terhadap tingkat permeabilitas pada cetakan pasir green sand. (2) Adanya pengaruh variasi jenis bentonit terhadap kekuatan tekan pada cetakan pasir green sand.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are: (1) To develop and to design microcontroller-based system of water injection on Honda Mega Pro Motorcycle 2009. (2) To know the effect that uses microcontroller-based water injection of torque and power on Honda Mega Pro motorcycle 2009. (3) To know the quantity of torque and power on Honda Mega Pro motorcycle 2009 that uses microcontroller-based water injection.This research used descriptive quantitative methods. The sample of the research used is Honda Mega Pro 2009 in KC11E1237512 engine serial number. The data retrieved from the quantity of torque and power by using water microcontroller-based water injection with composition on (A100, A90, A80, A70, A60, and A50). The data are retrieved from the result of the research which are put into table and presented in the graphic form and then being analyzed.Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) Development and design of microcontroller-based water injection can work and operate properly on Honda Mega Pro motorcycle 2009. (2) There was a positive effect that uses microcontroller-based water injection of torque and power on Honda Mega Pro motorcycle 2009. (3) The best maximal torque is produced by using water injection (A50) on 14.29 Nm at 6250 rpm engine speeds or the torque escalates 1.11 Nm or 8.42% and the worst maximal torque is produced by using water injection (A100­) on 13.07 Nm at 6162 rpm engine speeds or the torque decreases 0.11 Nm or 0.83% compared to the maximal torque produced by motorcycle without water injection (standard) on 13.18 Nm at 6750 rpm engine speeds. (4) The best maximal power is produced by using water injection (A­50) on 13.70 HP at7724 rpm engine speed or the power escalates 0.93 HP or 7.28% and the worst maximal power is produced by using water injection (A100­) on 12.43 HP at 7049 rpm engine speeds or the power decreases 0.34 HP or 2.66% compared to the maximal power produced by motorcycle without water injection (standard) on 12.77 HP at 7156 rpm engine speeds.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to investigate: (1)The effect of using fixed and swirl electric turbo to exhaust gas emissions level of CO and HC on Honda Supra X 125 2009 motorcycle. (2) The effect of using modified of air filter to exhaust gas emissions level of CO and HC on Honda Supra X 125 2009 motorcycle. (3) The effect of using electric turbo and modified of air filter to exhaust gas emissions level of CO and HC on Honda Supra X 125 2009 motorcycle. (4) The lowest exhaust gas emissions level of CO and HC on Honda Supra X 125 2009 motorcycle. The method which used in this research was experimental method. The population  in this research were Honda Supra X 125 2009 motorcycle and sample was Honda Supra X 125 2009 motorcycle with JB91E1802814 engine number. Techniques of data analysis used descriptive data analysis. Based on this researchcan be concluded: (1) In standard condition, the emissions gas level of CO was 2.530% and the emissions gas level of HC was 1169 ppm. In the using of fixed electric turbo, the emissions gas level of CO was 2.199% and the emissions gas level of HC was 1093.33 ppm. So the reduced of the emissions gas level of CO was 0.331% and the emissions gas level of HC was 75.67 ppm. While in the using of swirl electric turbo, the emissions gas level of CO was 1.870% and the emissions gas level of HC was 823.33 ppm. So the reduced of the emissions gas level of CO was 0.66% and the emissions gas level of HC was 245.67 ppm. (2) In the using of modified air filter, the emissions gas level of CO was 1.472% and the emissions gas level of HC was 602 ppm. So the reduced of the emissions gas level of CO was 1.058% and the emissions gas level of HC was 602 ppm. (3) In the using of fixed electric turbo and modified of air filter, the emissions gas level of CO was 1.403% and the emissions gas level of HC was 403.33 ppm. So the reduced of the emissions gas level of CO was 1.127% and the emissions gas level of HC was 765.67 ppm. While in the using of swirl electric turbo and modified of air filter, the emissions gas level of CO was 0.946% and the emissions gas level of HC was 374.33 ppm. So the reduced of the emissions gas level of CO was 1.584% and the emissions gas level of HC was 794.67 ppm. (4) The lowest exhaust gas emissions level of CO and HC on Honda Supra X 125 2009 motorcycle at the using of swirl electric turbo and modified of air filter.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purposes of this research are: (1)To know the use effect of X Power against levels of pollutant gases CO and HC on Honda Supra X 125 2009, (2)To know the effect of the addition of ethanol in premium on levels of pollutant gases CO and HC on Honda Supra X 125 2009, (3)To know the interactions effect using X Power and the addition of ethanol in premium on levels of pollutant gases CO and HC on Honda Supra X 125 2009. The research used experimental methods. Techniques of data analysis in this study using the descriptive data analysis graphically illustrates the results of research in the histogram or frequency polygon which connects between the variables. From  the research, we can conclude that: (1)Using X Power 800 Gold on motorcycles especially Honda Supra X 125 2009 to reduce levels of pollutant gases CO and HC. (2)The addition of ethanol in premium fuel comparable straight with decreased levels of gas pollutant CO, the more the content of ethanol in premium fuel is getting smaller levels of CO, but inversely with decreased levels of gas pollutant HC, the more the content of ethanol in premium fuel higher levels of HC produced motorcycles especially Honda Supra X 125 2009. (3)Interaction between the best mixture of fuel premium- ethanol and the use of X Power 800 Gold in decreased levels of pollutant gases CO and HC are on mixture of fuel premium- ethanol 15% and the use of the X Power 800 Gold, which is 0.75% CO and 390 ppm HC, but the use this variation must attention the total cost.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of students in Electrical Repair learning, especially at grade XI Automotive 9 Vocational High School Bhinneka Karya, Simo by applying the cooperative learning method of team quiz type. The research is a class action research. Research done in two cycles, every cycle consists of planning, the action, observation, and reflection. The subject of research is a student grade XI, Vocational High School Bhineka Karya, Simo consisting of 34 students. The data come from teachers and students. Data collection techniques taken from student learning results, based on cognitive aspects and student?s psychomotorat the applicants of cognitive learning model team quiz type. The research results showed that through the application Team Quiztypemethodcan improve student learning outcomes at each cycle (cycle I increased 3% and cycle II also increased 4%). The achievement of minimum attainment of students i.e. Students who scored above or equal to 75 is greater than 70%, in this research minimum attainment of students reached until 73%. The conclusion of this research is an applications of Cooperative Learning method by Team Quiz type has increased especiallyin Electrical Repair learning, grade XI Automotive 9 Vocational High School Bhinneka Karya, Simo

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to improve the learning activeness and result in the subject matter of Basic Vocational Competency of the students in Grade X of Bhineka Karya Vocational High School of Surakarta in Academic Year 2014/2015 through the application of the cooperative learning model of the Learning Together type.  This research used the classroom action research with two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four phases, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of research were the students in Grade X of Mechanical Engineering B of the aforementioned school. The data sources of research were the students, observation sheet of learning activeness, and result of learning achievement test. The data of research were validated by using the content validity for the test data and the construct validity for the non-test data. They were analyzed by using the descriptive comparative analysis. The procedure of research consisted of a series of four repeatedly cyclical activities.The application of the cooperative learning model of the Learning Together type can improve the learning activeness and result in the subject matter of Basic Vocational Competency of the students in Grade X of  SMK Bhineka Karya Vocational High School of Surakarta. In the pre-cycle, the percentage of the students who had the expected learning activeness is 40 %. Following the application of the cooperative learning model of the Learning Together type, it becomes 63.34 % in Cycle I and 83.34% in Cycle II respectively. In addition, in the pre-cycle the percentage of the students who fulfilled the minimum learning completeness criterion is 43.34%. Following the application of the cooperative learning model of the Learning Together type, it becomes 76.67 % in Cycle I and 86.67% in Cycle II respectively.
