Abstract

Abad 21 merupakan abad ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang terus berkembang seiring dengan perkembangan zaman. Keterampilan literasi sains dalam pembelajaran kimia abad 21 perlu ditingkatkan. Indonesia menduduki peringkat ke-67 dari 81 negara dalam hal literasi sains menurut hasil PISA 2022. Pembelajaran kimia dengan metode ceramah membuat siswa kurang termotivasi untuk memiliki keterampilan literasi sains. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyediakan lembar kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi sains. Penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE merupakan metodologi penelitian yang digunakan. Kelayakan lembar kegiatan siswa ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Aspek validasi terkonfirmasi valid dengan nilai modus empat atau kategori baik. Uji coba lembar kegiatan siswa dilakukan di SMA Al-Islam Krian Sidoarjo Jawa Timur dengan jumlah responden 36 orang di kelas XI. Aspek kepraktisan dinyatakan sangat praktis berdasarkan hasil keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, aktivitas siswa, dan respon siswa. Hasil pelaksanaan pembelajaran selama tiga kali pertemuan memperoleh nilai modus lima yang terlaksana dengan sangat baik, aktivitas siswa memperoleh persentase rata-rata 94,19% dan respon siswa memperoleh persentase rata-rata 93,87% dengan kategori sangat baik. Aspek efektivitas dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan hasil tes literasi sains memperoleh skor N-Gain sebesar 0,71 dengan kategori tinggi dan tes kognitif memperoleh skor rata-rata posttest sebesar 89,72 dengan kategori tuntas.

Abstract

The learning process is carried out face-to-face or at certain times as well as E-learning, but the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus has caused sudden changes causing student learning disruption due to having to adapt to the implementation of online learning. This study aims to identify the obstacles faced by Physics Education students of FKIP USK in the online learning process. The research subjects were 70 physics education students in class 2019. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive design. Data collection was carried out by using a closed-based questionnaire google form. Data processing uses simple statistics in the form of percentage calculations. The results of the percentage data analysis showed that from the external aspect 62.9% experienced obstacles. From the results of the identification of obstacles faced by physics education students in the online learning process, The highest impact felt was the network followed by practicum and followed by a home atmosphere, which caused disruption to students in online learning.

Abstract

Viscosity is an important characteristic of fluids that plays a significant role in various applications in mechanical engineering, chemistry, and industry. This research focuses on examining the use of Stokes' Law and the capillary tube method in determining fluid viscosity through an experimental approach. In the Stokes' Law approach, measurements are made by observing the falling velocity of a solid ball in the fluid, while in the capillary tube method, calculations are made based on the fluid flow rate through the capillary tube by considering the pressure difference and the tube length. The experimental results show that both techniques can be used to determine viscosity values, although with varying accuracy. The Stokes' Law method is more practical to apply, but the results are affected by fluid homogeneity and the size of the test ball. Meanwhile, the capillary tube method produces more consistent data in fluids with low to medium viscosity. Comparison of the results shows differences in values, but they are still within the experimental tolerance range. Therefore, the application of these two methods can be used as an alternative practicum activity to deepen the understanding of the basic concepts of fluid mechanics while providing direct experience in measuring the physical properties of fluids.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pemahaman guru dalam menerapkan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) di sekolah-sekolah di seluruh Sulawesi Selatan. Pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan menggunakan metode survei. Sebanyak 75 guru dipilih secara acak dari beberapa kabupaten dan kota di Sulawesi Selatan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan model Rasch untuk memastikan pengukuran standar dan objektif dari pemahaman guru dan implementasi model PBL. Analisis berfokus pada identifikasi tingkat pemahaman konsep PBL dan sejauh mana penerapannya dalam praktik kelas. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa mayoritas guru menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman yang moderat mengenai prinsip dan langkah prosedural model PBL. Temuan ini memberikan landasan diagnostik untuk pengembangan profesional yang ditargetkan dan dukungan pedagogis untuk memperkuat implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa di sekolah.
