Speaking subject performed at colleges, especially English language courses, is provided to students to actively develop English speaking skills. However, in fact there are still many students who are less taking advantage of the opportunities given. This has an impact on low student speaking skills. The purpose of the study was to investigate the influence of peer assessment of student speech skills in the second semester of Economics Development of STIE Muhammadiyah JambiThe design of this research is a quasi experimental with a posttest-only control group design. The population of the study was the semester II student of Economics Development of STIE Muhammadiyah Jambi year 2018/2019. The population consisted of 75 students. This research sample was class A as the experimental class and B as the control class. Both classes was taken the value of the speaking test which then be compared. The results of this study showed that students taught using peer assessment had better speaking skills than students taught using the teacher assessment.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Transformasi Peran Guru di Era Digital. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan naratif. Data wawancara ditranskripsi dan ditelaah dengan menggunakan analisis konten tematik. Studi ini melaporkan tiga tema data penting yang mencakup kemampuan adaptasi guru dengan era digital, tantangan yang dihadapi guru pada pembelajaran di era digital, peluang yang dihadapi guru pada pembelajaran di era digital dan strategi guru dalam menghadapi pembelajaran di era digital. Dengan begitu peneliti menyelidiki bagaimana guru dapat mengatasi tantangan ini dan memanfaatkan peluang tersebut untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di era digital. Dengan menggabungkan pendekatan inovatif dalam pengajaran dan investasi dalam pengembangan profesional guru, transformasi peran guru di era digital dapat menjadi kendaraan untuk menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan inklusif.

The complexity and distinctiveness of gossip and gossiping have highlighted the recent viral short movie, Tilik (2018). It is important to note that gossip has also been identified as a support in social attachment in large crowds which is used to gain certain power. This research analyzes the role of gossip and gossiping in reaching the power within a community and the instruments to reach such power. Hence, this qualitative research employs cultural study approach to get an in-depth and complete analysis based on cultural perspective. Besides, Social Dominance Theory is also applied to explore the usage of gossip as weapon to reach the top of power. The study shows that gossip is surely a sharp weapon that may attack either the object of gossip or others harmed by the formulation of gossip. Also, gossip can be activated as a weapon to reach power in a certain group. Furthermore, gossip can be effective if the person who spreads it has power in the society.Keywords: Gossip; Power; Javanese Society; Tilikالملخصتم تسليط الضوء على تعقيدات وخصائص النميمة والقيل والقال في أحدث فيلم قصير سريع الانتشار ، Tilik (2018). كأداة اتصال ، من المهم ملاحظة أن النميمة المحددة يمكن أن تساعد في تقوية الروابط الاجتماعية للعديد من الناس وكذلك اكتساب القوة. تحلل هذه الدراسة دور النميمة والنميمة في اكتساب التأثير (القوة) في المجتمع وكذلك الأدوات المستخدمة لتحقيق تلك القوة. يسعى البحث النوعي بنهج ثقافي إلى الحصول على تحليل حاد ومتعمق للتصورات الثقافية. تُستخدم نظرية الهيمنة الاجتماعية أيضًا كأداة تحليلية لفهم استخدام القيل والقال كسلاح في اكتساب القوة. أظهرت النتائج أن القيل والقال يمكن أن يكون سلاحًا حادًا يمكنه مهاجمة الشيء الذي يُنثر عليه القيل والقال والأشخاص الآخرين الذين تضرروا من قصة القيل والقال. كما يظهر أن النميمة يمكن تفعيلها كسلاح لاكتساب السلطة في مجموعة معينة. علاوة على ذلك ، يمكن أن تكون النميمة فعالة إذا كان للشخص الذي ينشرها تأثير في المجتمع.الكلمات الرئيسية: ثرثرة؛ قوة؛ المجتمع الجاوي نظرةABSTRAKKompleksitas dan kekhasan gosip dan bergosip menjadi sorotan dalam film pendek viral terbaru, Tilik (2018). Sebagai alat komunikasi, penting untuk dicatat bahwa gosip teridentifikasi dapat membantu mempererat ikatan sosial banyak orang sekaligus meraih kekuasaan. Penelitian ini menganalisis peran gosip dan bergosip dalam mendapatkan pengaruh (kekuasaan) di dalam masyarakat serta instrument yang digunakan dalam meraih kekuasaan tersebut. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan budaya ini berupaya memperoleh analisis tajam dan mendalam dalam persepsi budaya. Teori dominasi sosial juga digunakan sebagai instrument analisis untuk memahami penggunaan gossip sebagai senjata dalam memperoleh kekuasaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gosip dapat menjadi senjata tajam yang dapat menyerang objek tergosip maupun orang lain yang dirugikan oleh cerita gosip tersebut. Selain itu juga menunjukkan bahwa gosip dapat diaktifkan sebagai senjata untuk meraih kekuasaan pada suatu kelompok tertentu. Lebih jauh, gosip bisa efektif jika orang yang menyebarkannya memiliki pengaruh di masyarakat.

This study undertakes a qualitative exploration of the principal characters' personality traits within the 2007 film Ratatouille. Specifically, it aims to delineate the primary character's personality profile and to identify the salient factors influencing the personality development of these central figures. Employing a qualitative descriptive methodology, primary data was derived from the film itself, focusing on the personalities of the main characters. Data analysis adhered to the framework proposed by Miles and Huberman. Findings indicate that the character of Linguini exhibits a constellation of personality traits including insecurity, shyness, timidity, and introversion. In contrast, Skinner is characterized by anger and ambition. Several factors contributed to the personality development of both Linguini and Skinner. Linguini's personality trajectory, marked by a transition from insecurity to confidence, is attributable to environmental and learning factors. Skinner, initially driven by anger and ambition, undergoes a transformation toward greed and vengefulness as a result of environmental pressures and unconscious motivations, ultimately culminating in a desire to usurp control of the restaurant

PT. BCAM sebagai fabrikator fiberglass, perusahaan tersebut menyediakan pembuatan tangki air, selang air, fiberglass, roofing dan atap fiber. Perusahaan tersebut berdiri sejak tahun 1993. Terdapat identifikasi masalah pada perusahaan tersebut yaitu berdasarkan kuisioner terhadap 10 operator diketahui adanya keluhan operator yang berpotensi menjadi penyebab tidak terpenuhinya cycle time pada proses pemberian polimer resin, Belum adanya Analisa perancangan alat bantu kerja pada proses pemberian polimer resin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penyebab adanya keluhan yang dirasakan operator saat proses pemberian polimer resin, dan membuat rancangan alat bantu kerja pada proses pemberian polimer resin. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan dengan menggunakan metode REBA, sebelum adanya alat bantu didapatkan skor gabungan sebesar 9 dengan tingkat risiko 10. Untuk mengurangi keluhan yang dirasakan saat proses pemberian polimer resin, di usulkan pembuatan saluran polimer resin dengan ukuran tinggi gagang 105,4 cm, panjang bentang rel 162 cm, jumlah biaya yang di butuhkan untuk perancangan alat bantu Rp.223.000

Data monografi desa merupakan hal yang penting untuk mendukung pemerintah dalam pembuatan kebijakan dan pemantauan kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat, khususnya dalam mencapai tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Namun di banyak desa, termasuk Desa Alu, Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, data monografi yang tersedia tidak lengkap, kurang akurat, dan tidak diperbarui secara berkala. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, pembaruan data monografi Desa Alu terakhir kali dilakukan pada tahun 2016 dan belum sesuai dengan aturan terbaru, yaitu Permendagri Nomor 13 Tahun 2012. Kondisi ini menyebabkan desa tidak dapat memperoleh data yang akurat untuk perencanaan pembangunan. Oleh karena itu, pembaruan dan perbaikan secara berkala diperlukan agar desa memiliki informasi yang lengkap dan akurat sebagai landasan pembangunan yang lebih efektif. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu dan menyusun format data monografi Desa Alu. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan bekerja sama dengan Pemerintah Desa Alu dan melibatkan 15 perangkat desa. Pelaksanaannya menggunakan pendekatan individual dan klasikal, yang diterapkan pada saat penyampaian materi penyusunan monografi desa. Luaran dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah format data monografi desa yang sesuai dengan ketentuan pemerintah terbaru.

This study aims to determine the Quality of Inpatient Services at the H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Regional General Hospital, Bulukumba Regency, this study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The Data Analysis Technique used in this study is interactive data analysis through the following stages: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion testing.The results of this study show that the Inpatient Services at the H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Regional General Hospital, Bulukumba Regency have generally run well, although there are still shortcomings in its implementation. This can be seen from several indicators, namely, determination, implementation and responsibility. However, there are still shortcomings in administrative personnel who are still not agile in serving non-medical patients, but the Bulukumba Regency Government has made every effort to improve services at the H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Regional General Hospital, Bulukumba Regency, including inpatient services. The supporting factor in inpatient services at H.Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Bulukumba Hospital is the existence of good communication between medical personnel and patients, and also receives support from the government and the local community. The inhibiting factor in the service at H. Andi Sulthan Daeng Radja Hospital, Bulukumba Regency is in the research licensing section which is still charged to get a permit for research.

This research discusses gender dysphoria in When the Moon Was Ours novel by Anna-Marie McLemore as reflected by the main character named Samir. Samir was born as a girl called Samira who got an uneasy feeling with his gender identity. Gender dysphoria is uneasy feeling associated with the incongruence wherein gender identity does not match one‟s biological sex. This research aims to find out the characteristics, the causes and the impacts of gender dysphoria in the novel. In this research, the writer uses the theory by the American Psychiatric Association to ensure characteristics and impacts of gender dysphoria and another theory by Susan Stryker to determine its causes. The writer also uses Queer theory as proponent in formulating problems. Kind of research is library research with descriptive qualitative methods. Source of data of the research is a novel, several sources of journal, books and articles related to this thesis. Research findings shows that first, gender dysphoria characteristics experienced by main character tends to inconsistency between sex and gender identity, a desire to erase the primary or secondary sex characteristics, a desire to have primary or secondary sex characteristics of the other gender, a desire to be a figure of the other gender, a desire to be treated as the other gender and a desire to have typical feeling as the other gender. The second, causes of gender dysphoria is due to social and cultural factors, it contains a Pakistani tradition called Bacha Posh and the emotional dynamics he had in his family.The last, the impacts of gender dyphoria are anxiety disorder, suicide attempts, functioning at school may disturbed, stigmatization, discrimination and tends to get negative self-concept.

This study analyzes the fulfillment of human needs and the conflicts in fulfilling these needs by the main character in the film Turning Red by Domee Shi. The purpose of this study is to explain how the main character fulfills human needs and to find out the conflicts that occur in fulfilling human needs seen by the main character in the film Turning Red by Domee Shi. Researcher used a psychological approach. Researcher used a qualitative descriptive method. Sources of data in this study are scripts, images and dialogue from the film Turning Red by Domee Shi. In collecting data, researcher used documentation techniques. Then the data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that researcher found five levels of human needs using Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, namely physiological needs, safety needs, love and belonging needs, self-esteem needs, and self-actualization needs. This study shows that human needs have been fulfilled by the main character in the film Turning Red by Domee Shi. Then, the researcher found three conflicts in fulfilling human needs, especially at the level of self-esteem and self-actualization using Kurt Lewin's conflict theory, namely approach-approach conflict, avoidance-avoidance conflict, and approach-avoidance conflict. This study shows that the main character has resolved conflicts in fulfilling human needs, especially at the level of self-esteem and self-actualization in the film Turning Red by Domee Shi.
