Abstract

AbstractThe concept of self is the view or opinion of a person about himself covering everything he has both physical and psychological. How an individual thinks about his own image and all of his abilities. This study aims to (1) describe the social self-concept of Tri Murni Padang Panjang's childcare institutions, (2) describe the emotional self-concept of adolescents in Tri Murni Padang Panjang childcare institutions, (3) describe the moral self-concept of adolescent orphanage children Tri Murni Padang Panjang, (4) describes the cognitive self-concept of adolescents at Tri Murni Padang Panjang social care institutions. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were Tri Murni Padang Panjang children orphanages. The research subjects were limited to only orphanages in middle and high school with a total of 89 people. The research was carried out by administering questionnaire instruments. Data were analyzed by percentage analysis. The findings of this study show that the results of the self-concept of adolescent orphanages in Tri Murni Padang Panjang are in the good category.The findings of this study show that the results of the self-concept of adolescent orphanages in Tri Murni Padang Panjang are in the good category. more details (1) the social self-concept of adolescents from Tri Murni Padang Panjang social care institutions are in good category, (2) the emotional self-concept of adolescents in Tri Murni Padang Panjang social care institutions are in good category, (3) moral self-concept of orphanage Tri Murni Padang Panjang's childcare is in a very good category, (4) cognitive self-concept of adolescent orphanages Tri Murni Padang Panjang in the good category.Keyword: Self Concept

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in learning IPS Using Coperative Learning Model Type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) in class IV SD Negeri 17 Java Gadut Padang City. Research subjects were teachers (practitioners) and 16 students. The place of study is SD Negeri 17 Jawa Gadut. The results showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II on: (a) Observation of RPP 87.5% (B) to 96.4% (SB). (b) Teacher aspect at 71.5% (C) to 90.9% (SB). (c) Aspects of learners 71.5% (C) to 90.9% (SB). (d) Student learning outcome 73,52% (C) becomes 91,39% (A).

Abstract

AbstractThe research is aimed to describe the improvement of the students’ learning outcomes  in thematic integrated to theme 3 by using Somatic Audiotory Visual Intellectual model at 5 thgrade of Elementary School. The research is The classroom action research and conducted in the research by using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. By using three cycles to the covering four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of the research were the teacher and 28 students of SDN 13 Lubuk Alung, 14 male students and 14 female students. The result of research shows that Somatic Audiotory Visual Intellectual model has improved the students’ learning outcome in thematic integrated learning in elementary school.          Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Somatic Audiotory Visual Intellectual

Abstract

Sebagian besar siswa mengalami kesulitan berhubungan dengan orang lain diasumsikan disebabkan oleh gambaran diri yang tidak sesuai dengan kondisi yang sebenarnya.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan hubungan konsep diri dengan penerimaan diri siswa.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian siswa SMP 18 Padang berjumlah 635 orang, pengambilan sampel menggunakan stratified random sampling yang berjumlah sebanyak 245 orang. Pengumpulan datan menggunakan angket dan data dianalisis menggunakan persentase dan Pearson Product Moment Corelation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa (1) tingkat konsep diri berada pada kategori cukup baik, (2) tingkat penerimaan diri berada pada kategori cukup baik, dan (3) terdapat hubungan positif  yang signifikan antara  konsep diri dengan penerimaan diri siswa dengan koefisien korelasi 0,118 dan taraf signifikansi 0,033.Kata Kunci: Konsep Diri, Penerimaan Diri, Siswa

Abstract

Adolescent behavior is influenced by the environment namely the educational environment and peers. School is a context that is important for moral development. School well-being is important to know because it can be used as an evaluation tool for students' welfare in life at school. Students who are not prosperous towards their school can influence students to behave aggressively, namely the desire to intentionally attack or hurt others. This research is to examine the relationship between school well-being and aggressiveness in high school students in Padang City. This study uses cluster random sampling, for class XI students accredited A Private and State High School. Data collection uses two questionnaires namely Questionnaire School well-being (28 items) and the Questionnaire for Aggressiveness (26 items). The results of the analysis using simple regression analysis show a negative correlation between school well-being and aggressiveness (rxy = -0.2). The higher the school well-being, the lower the aggressiveness, and vice versa.Kata kunci: school well-being, aggressiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh guru yang masih menerapkan cara mencatat secara tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan teknik Mind Map terhadap hasil belajar pada pembelajaran PKn SD kelas V di SDN 04 Lawang Mandahiling.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain quasi experiment  tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 04 Lawang Mandahiling. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 orang siswa yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kela VA dan VB. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu nonprobability sampling dengan jenis sampling jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa tes. Teknik analisis data berupa uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus t-test yang didahului dengan uji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh harga thitung sebesar 0,824 dan harga ttabel dengan t(0,05;38) pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan dk 38  adalah 0,031545 sehingga thitung  >ttabel, yang berarti Ha diterima yaitu  terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan teknik Mind Map terhadap hasil belajar pada Pembelajaran PKn SD Kelas di SDN 04 Lawang Mandahiling

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact in Ulak Karang Selatan 07 Public Elementary School that teachers are more dominant in the learning process than students so that students become passive, students are less enthusiastic in learning. The purpose of this study was to describe how planning and implementing the learning of Social Sciences by making Mind Map in class V SD SD 07 Ulak Karang Selatan. Classroom action research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. In its implementation, this research was carried out in two cycles. The research procedure consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The results of the study were the results of RPP observation in the first cycle was 80.5% (B) increased in the second cycle to 91.7% (SB). In the implementation of teacher learning aspects of cycle I is 71.3 (C) an increase of 92.5% (SB) in cycle II and aspects of students in cycle I is 71.3 (C) an increase of 92.5% (SB) cycle II. Thus making Mind Map can improve the learning process of social science students in class V SD Negeri 07 Ulak Karang Selatan.

Abstract

Emotional Intelligence is the ability to motivate yourself, resolve the frustration, control the pressure, adjust mood, empathy and the ability to work in team. In fact, we found that there are still students who speak harshly to their friends, often cursing others and even there are students who easily get angry and tempered when their friends give a joke. One of the factors that influence it is interpersonal communication in their family. The purpose of this study is to: (1) describe students’  emotional intelligence, (2) describe interpersonal communication in their family, and (3) test the significance of the relationship of the interpersonal communication in the family with students emotional intelligence.  This research is a quantitative research with descriptive correlational type. The population of this study were 475 students of SMA Adabiah 2 Padang  and a sample in number of 219 students that is selected by Stratified Random Sampling method. The instruments which used were interpersonal communication  in students family and students' emotional intelligence questionnaires. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques and Pearson Product Moment techniques. This research found  that: (1) the interpersonal communication in family was in a good category with its percentage is 77.54%, (2) students' emotional intelligence in the high category with its percentage is 77.48%, (3) there is a significant positive relationship between interpersonal communication in the family and students' emotional intelligence with a correlation coefficient is 0.578 and a significance level is 0.000. It can be concluded that there is a significantly positive relationship between interpersonal communication in family and students' emotional intelligence.Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Family, Emotional Intelligence.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe the effects of using the Problem-Based Learning Model (PBL) toward students’ learning outcomes in learning Social Science Subjects. The research was True  Experimental Design in form of Pretest - Posttest Control Group Design. The subjects of the research were all of the students at grade 5th of SD Negeri 29 Dadok Tunggul Hitam. The Sampling technique used in this research is the simple random sampling. The research sample were 29 students at grade 5th of class VA and class VB in SD Negeri 29 Dadok Tunggul Hitam. Data were analyzed by using calculation with the t-test. It was found that tcalculation < ttable as t2,00324 < t2,994 with α = 0,05. Thus, it is concluded thatt there is a significant effect of using the Problem Based Learning Model. It has improved the students’ learning outcomes in learning Social Science Subjects at grade 5th of Elementary School.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe learning outcomes of operations with approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in the class IV SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The type of research conducted is classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of the study showed that the assesment of cycle one learning planning was eighty two point one percent and cycle two ninety two point nine percent. Assessment of the implementation of cycle one teacher activities is eighty point four percent and cycle two is ninety six point four percent. Assessment of the implementation of cycle one student activities is seventy five percent and cycle two is ninety six point four percent. Assessment of student learning outcomes cognitive aspects of cycle one average value is seventy two point seventy eight and cycle two is ninety two point twenty two. In the affective aspect of the cycle one the average value is seventy five point twenty and cycle two eighty three point thirty nine. Whereas for the psychomotor aspect of cycle one the average value is seventy four point eighty four and cycle two eighty seven point zero six. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the CTL approach can improve the learning outcomes of calculating the integer mixture of fourth grade students in the class IV SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP.
