Abstract

The circulation service at the UNIKOM Library is a standard service for every library, namely providing services for accessing, reading and borrowing collections to take home. The Independent Campus Program, namely the 2nd Independent Student Exchange (PMM), gives students the opportunity to study at other universities outside the island where they live or where the university is located. The university you occupy must provide the same facilities, even if you only study for 1 (one) semester, in addition to the program set by the Merdeka Campus. Previous research mostly measured user perceptions or satisfaction from internal sources regarding circulation services. This research is to find out how the circulation service is for Merdeka Campus students who are students from other campuses. How many students utilize circulation service facilities (membership up, loan/return collection services and statistics). How do circulation services work according to 2nd PMM students? The method used is descriptive, quantitative. As a result, the UNIKOM Library has provided the same facilities, namely circulation services, to all Merdeka Campus students, who used 38.77% of visits (19 people) and borrowed 32.65% (16 people). The number of 2nd PMM students was 49 people, 19 of whom used the circulation service, this was based on the receipt of UNIKOM ID Cards after 2 months of college activities. This research shows that the use of circulation services for Merdeka Campus students is considered sufficient with a percentage above 30% or more than 15 people using UNIKOM Library facilities, the rest using other facilities from the PMM-MBKM program.

Abstract

Knowledge mapping in the field of health science is very important to do because it helps the lives of many people. The large number of scientific articles published by Universitas Padjadjaran lecturers in the health sector has not been accompanied by mapping of research topic trends. The aim of this research is to determine trends in research topics in scientific articles by lecturers at the Faculty of Health, Universitas Padjadjaran and to determine the position of research topics that have been conducted on health topics in the world and in Indonesia. The research method used is the bibliometric method with a quantitative approach using Co-word analysis based on the presence of keywords available in each scientific article. The research results show that the trend of research topics in scientific articles by health faculty lecturers in 2016-2020 is Children, Knowledge, and Breast cancer. The research focus of health faculty lecturers in 2016-2019 was on the health of children, women or mothers, and adolescent health, then the research focus shifted in 2019-2020, namely regarding the Covid-19 virus. A small number of research topic trends carried out by health faculty lecturers are in line with world and Indonesian health topics according to the World Health Organization. Trends in research topics and research topics that are still little discussed can become references and recommendations for further research in the health sector.

Abstract

All citizens, including people with disabilities, have the right to receive equal education. College libraries must play an important role in supporting this right by providing inclusive services to all users, including those with disabilities. However, until now, many libraries are not fully ready to provide services to users with disabilities, both in terms of infrastructure and human resources. This can hinder the learning process for those with disabilities. This research aims to increase institutional awareness about the importance of inclusivity in university libraries, by emphasizing that people with disabilities are an integral part of the academic community. Persons with disabilities have the same rights to learning support facilities and services. Therefore, every university library must be inclusive and able to serve users with disabilities well. Librarians are also required to have special competencies, both soft skills and hard skills, to serve readers with disabilities so that they experience ease in utilizing library services. The research method used is a literature review by examining various scientific reference sources, including printed books, electronic books, articles and news. The results of this research show that to create a disability-friendly university library, elements such as adequate facilities and infrastructure, assistive technology, librarian competence, and an effective outreach program are needed. By implementing these elements, libraries can become more inclusive and provide optimal services for all users, including people with disabilities.

Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital era, libraries increasingly face the challenge of remaining relevant and connected to a fast-moving society. To expand reach and increase engagement, libraries are now involving themselves in social media platforms, and one of them is TikTok. Libraries' use of the live TikTok feature is a progressive step in presenting information, promoting collections, and building communities in cyberspace. Live TikTok provides a dynamic platform for librarians to communicate in real-time with patrons. How can this development improve the library's On-Fleek Promotion concept in interacting with today's digital society? The research method used is qualitative with an observational approach. Data was collected through direct observation of library live broadcasts on TikTok, including interactions between librarians and users, the type of content presented, and user responses. Analysis is carried out by detailing the findings that emerge from these interactions. The research results show that TikTok's live feature provides an interactive platform for libraries to communicate directly with followers. Observations reveal that live TikTok is effective in building user engagement, especially through comments, likes, and virtual gifts. Librarians can actively respond to questions, provide book recommendations, and explain library services. By combining qualitative and observational research methods, this study provides an in-depth understanding of the dynamics of interactions in the library's live TikTok environment. The implications of these findings provide guidance for libraries in designing more effective content strategies and enriching user experiences on these social media platforms.
