Abstract

The invasion of alien plants such as Bellucia pentamera can reduce biodiversity in the conservation forest area. Analysis of undergrowth vegetation in the area invaded by invasive alien plants Bellucia pentamera Naudin in the Conservation Area of PT. TKA Solok Selatan in MarchAugust 2020. This study aims to determine the composition and structure of undersgrowth vegetation in areas invaded by invasive alien plants Bellucia pentamera and to see the effect of distance from the road on the distribution of Bellucia pentamera tillers. The method used in this research is the quadratic method with belt transects of 2 x100 meters from the edge of the forest to the forest. The composition of understorey in the Conservation Area of PT. TKA were found as many as 48 species from 32 families. The distance from the highway affects the light intensity and also affects the distribution of the number of B. pentamera seedling individuals. The highest important value index of undergrowth was Shorea leprosula, Bellucia pentamera, and Clidemia hirta with a value of 40.51%; 29.20%; 19.43% while the diversity index (H ') of undergrowth with a value of 3.0 means that the diversity index is classified as medium.

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes using the Numbered Heads Together learning model. This research is an experimental study with a pre-test, post-test design. The population was 203 students, and the sample size was 80 students (Cluster Random Sampling). Class VII-2 served as the experimental class, and class VII-4 as the control class. Data analysis was conducted by calculating the average score and standard deviation, and hypotheses were tested using the t-statistic or t-test at a significance level of α = 0.05. The average pre-test score for the experimental class was 44.25, and the average post-test score for the experimental class was 78.37. The average pre-test score for the control class was 38.50, and the average post-test score for the control class was 65.25. This indicates an improvement in the topic of interdependence in ecosystems in class VII of MTs Negeri Tanah Jawa in the 2014/2015 academic year, with a score of 34.12. The results of the hypothesis test using the t-test obtained a calculated t (7.68) > t table (2.00), therefore H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is a difference in student learning outcomes using the Numbered Heads Together learning model on interdependence in ecosystems in grade VII MTs Negeri Tanah Jawa in the 2014/2015 academic year. It was concluded that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes using the Numbered Heads Together learning model on interdependence in ecosystems in grade VII MTs Negeri Tanah Jawa in the 2014/2015 academic year.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine efforts to improve student learning outcomes in the biotic component topic through the application of Quantum Learning to seventh-grade students at SMP Swasta Advent 2 Pematangsiantar in the 2014/2015 academic year. The study was conducted from May 19-30, 2015, with a sample size of 16 seventh-grade students. The learning process consisted of cycles I and II, involving teaching and evaluation. Data analysis techniques used included calculating class averages, learning completion levels, and classical regression. Based on the results, it can be concluded that learning outcomes in cycle I were 18.75% below the Minimum Competency (KKM). This was followed by cycle II, where 93.75% achieved the KKM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in student learning outcomes and the magnitude of the differences between online PowerPoint multimedia and conventional methods on the excretory system topic in grade XI of SMA YPI Dharma Budi Sidamanik in the 2020/2021 academic year. The population was 64 students, consisting of two classes. The sample was taken by random assignment, resulting in two classes: a control class (XI-1) with 32 students and an experimental class (XI-2) with 32 students. The control class was treated using conventional methods, and the experimental class was treated using PowerPoint multimedia. Data analysis was performed by finding the mean (X̅ ), standard deviation (S), and hypothesis testing (t-test) at a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that the average post-test score for the control class was 88 and the experimental class was 90.12, with a difference in learning outcomes of 2.12. The results of the hypothesis testing (t-test) obtained t count (2.790) > t table (1.99) at a significance level of α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom (df) = 62, therefore Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is a difference in student learning outcomes using conventional methods and the use of PowerPoint multimedia on the online excretory system material for class XI SMA YPI Dharma Budi Sidamanik in the 2020/2021 academic year. It was concluded that there is a difference in student learning outcomes using conventional methods and the use of PowerPoint multimedia on the online excretory system material for class XI SMA YPI Dharma Budi Sidamanik in the 2020/2021 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in student learning outcomes and the magnitude of the differences in student learning outcomes using the Student Team Achievement Division and Think Pair and Share learning models on the excretory system online in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar in the 2020/2021 academic year. The population was 187 students, consisting of 6 classes, and the sample was taken using Cluster Random Sampling, resulting in two classes: experimental class 1 (VIII-5) with 32 students and experimental class 2 (VIII-8) with 32 students. Experimental class 1 was treated using the Student Team Achievement Division learning model, and experimental class 2 was treated using the Think Pair and Share learning model. Data analysis was carried out by finding the mean (X̅ ), standard deviation (S), and hypothesis testing (t-test) at a significance level of α = 0.05. The research results obtained an average post-test score of 86.09 for experimental class 1 and 85.16 for experimental class 2, with a difference in learning outcomes of 0.93. The results of the hypothesis testing (t-test) obtained thitung (2.625) > ttabel (1.99) at a significance level of α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom (dk) = 62. Therefore, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is a difference in student learning outcomes using the Student Team Achievement Division and Think Pair and Share learning models on the online excretory system material for class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar in the 2020/2021 academic year. It was concluded that there is a difference in student learning outcomes using the Student Team Achievement Division and Think Pair and Share learning models on the online excretory system material for class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar in the 2020/2021 academic year.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of determining the Effect of Using Student Worksheets (LKS) as a Learning Medium on Student Learning Outcomes in the Human Circulatory System Material in Class XI MIA of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Pulau in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The total population of class XI students was 113 students consisting of four classes and a sample of 50 students (2 classes) was taken randomly with purposive sampling. The research instrument used in data collection was a pre-test and post-test to determine the biology learning outcomes of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Pulau. From the results of hypothesis testing with the t-test, it was obtained |thitung| = 11.163. While ttable for df = 24, with a significance level of α = 0.05 is 2.064. So it can be concluded that |thitung| > ttable, namely 11.163 > 2.064, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, H0 is rejected. This indicates a significant effect of the use of Student Worksheets on student biology learning outcomes. Based on the results of the Independent Sample Test, comparing the post-test scores of both classes, the significance value was 0.000 < 0.05. This concludes that there is a difference in the learning outcomes of students taught using Student Worksheets as a learning medium compared to those taught without them. The significant difference between the two scores can be seen from the average post-test scores. The test results showed that the average post-test score for the experimental class was 79.00, while the average post-test score for the control class was 61.60. The significant difference in the average scores between the experimental and control classes was 17.40.
