Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using the drill method on students’ mastery of Ilmu Sharaf (Arabic morphology) at Ma'had Al-Mukhtar Islamiy, North Bekasi. The researcher employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. The sample consisted of two groups: an experimental group that received instruction using the drill method and a control group that received conventional teaching. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests and analyzed using statistical tests to determine the effectiveness of the drill method in enhancing the mastery of Ilmu Sharaf. The results indicated a significant improvement in the experimental group's mastery compared to the control group. The average pre-test score of the experimental group was 62.3, which increased to 82.7 in the post-test. In contrast, the control group's average pre-test score was 60.1, rising to 70.4 in the post-test. Statistical analysis showed that the drill method had a more significant impact on improving Ilmu Sharaf mastery compared to conventional methods. Moreover, the drill method also enhanced students' motivation to learn Ilmu Sharaf more actively and systematically. The findings suggest that the drill method is effective in improving students' understanding and mastery of Ilmu Sharaf. This study can serve as a recommendation for educators to adopt similar methods in Arabic language instruction to achieve more optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

Arudh is a branch of Arabic language science by which the truth or falsity of a poem can be known. Arudh as a science is less noticed by scholars in the North Sumatra region. This research is a literature review research that collects data with documentation studies from both primary and secondary sources with deductive and inductive data analysis. The results of this study are that arudh is a science of Arabic literature but is not as popular as the science of balaghah. The science of arudh is less in demand and less noticed in the treasures of Islamic boarding schools. However, in its development there are several solutions that can be put forward to ground the science of arudh, including: getting used to shalawat and prayers, poetry in the book of lessons, making marches and also making qasidah and songs

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of the Sharaf Science learning strategy with a focus on integrating the concepts of nisbah and tasghir in Arabic language classes. The method used is a mixed-methods with a qualitative dominance, which includes classroom observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of teaching materials. The qualitative results are used as the basis for developing an integrative learning module. Furthermore, the quantitative stage uses a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test design to assess the impact of the module on students' morphological understanding.The findings show that the main challenges in learning nisbah and tasghir include the complexity of morphological patterns, traditional teaching methods that are less interactive, and the limited use of digital technology. To overcome this, a learning strategy that combines collaborative learning, word games, the use of visual media, and digital applications has been shown to improve students' motivation and understanding. The application of technology—such as interactive platforms and audio-visual media—helps students understand morphological concepts contextually. In addition, regular formative assessments provide constructive feedback that encourages improvements in the learning process. In conclusion, the integration of nisbah and tasghir through an innovative and technology-oriented pedagogical approach can increase student engagement and deepen Arabic language understanding. The recommendations of this study include teacher training to adopt interactive methods and the development of contextual learning resources so that the objectives of learning Sharaf Science are achieved optimally

Abstract

This study aims to familiarize the Arabic language to children since early childhood. It is commenced from the family cycle due to Arabic language learning is not only charged to teachers at school but so are parents who also have the same responsibility on it at home. This study applied the qualitative method by qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was obtained from observation, invented documents, journals, and the researcher’s experience. The results revealed that the role of parents in familiarizing the Arabic language at early age children is realized in three ways, they are; (1) Parenting by direct involvement in Arabic familiarizing from an early age, (2) Utilizing attractive and fun methods in Arabic learning, (3) Effective and proportional use on digital media to ease the learning process on the Arabic language. This study hopefully can help parents at home and teachers at early childhood schools to teach the Arabic language to early-age children.

Abstract

During earlier data observation on the study of arabic, some problems faced by students are found, that is teacher’s lack of learning media that results in student’s lack of motivation in learning and low achievement. Based on the problem found, the use of Dart Board Media is Applied. The purpose of this research is to find planning, process, and increase of students’ motivation and achievement. From the shown data results we can conclude that the use of dart board media can increase students’ motivation and learning achievement on learning the material arabic.

Abstract

The Al-Qur'an employs language in a remarkably eloquent manner, carefully selecting appropriate words where each holds its own significance. Some scholars argue that the Qur'an possesses a profound balaghah value that is unparalleled. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to examine this linguistic style, particularly the language style of Amr, which encompasses both its essential (original) meaning and its figurative (majazi) meaning. Surah Yasin is classified as a Makkiyah Surah because it was revealed in the city of Mecca. This Surah encompasses admonitions from Allah SWT and His Messenger, instructions for worshipping Allah SWT, retribution for believers and disbelievers, manifestations of Allah SWT's power, and warnings from the Prophet about Hell. It is named Yasin due to its opening with the letters Yaasiin. According to the interpretation provided by the Ministry of Religion, just as the meanings of the alphabet letters are present at the beginning of several Surahs in the Qur'an, so too does Yaasiin hold significance within the verses at the start of this Surah, indicating that significant matters will be discussed subsequently. Allah solemnly swears by the Qur'an that Muhammad SAW is truly His messenger sent to a people who had not previously received any messengers. Within this Surah, the author identifies approximately 11 instances of al-Amr forms, each with its intrinsic or figurative meaning. Consequently, the author is intrigued to conduct a deeper study, analyze, and map the occurrences of al-Amr in Yasin based on their respective parts and meanings. This written work adopts an analytical descriptive approach. Materials and research sources obtained through library research will be detailed, described, and analyzed, after which the findings will be presented in written form to provide a comprehensive depiction of the uslub al-Amr form in Surah Yasin. Abstract

Kajian penelitian ini adalah berfokus pada bagaimana upaya menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri berbicara bahasa Arab mahasiswa melalui grup Whatsapp di Prodi Bahasa dan Sastra Arab STAIN Mandailing Natal. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan upaya menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri pada mahasiswa Bahasa dan Sastra Arab STAIN Mandailing Natal dalam berbicara bahasa Arab melalui grup Whatsapp. Hasil positif yang menjadi kontribusi dari penelitian ini adalah hal positif yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh para pendidik dalam penggunaan grup Whatsapp sebagai salah satu upaya menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri bagi para mahasiswa untuk berbicara bahasa Arab, melatih mahasiswa untuk berani berbicara dengan bahasa Arab, dan menjadi salah satu sumber pemikiran strategi pembelajaran Muhadatsah di Prodi Bahasa dan Sastra Arab STAIN Mandailing Natal.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara merupakan salah satu dari empat keterampilan bahasa dan merupakan kemampuan untuk menuturkan suara artikulatif atau kata-kata yang bertujuan untuk mengekspresikan pikiran dalam bentuk ide, pendapat, keinginan, atau perasaan kepada orang lain. Kesulitan yang sering terjadi dalam mempraktekkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab tentu memiliki banyak alasan. Tetapi, alasan yang sering kita jumpai yaitu kurangnya penguasaan kosakata yang digunakan untuk berbicara dan pembelajaran yang membosankan. Dalam mempelajari keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab, diperlukan berbagai variasi media untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dan mengurangi rasa bosan siswa dalam belajar. Oleh sebab itu peneliti melaksanakan penelitian dengan menggunakan media audio visual untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara dan menjadikan proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang mudah dan menyenangkan. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas VIII di SMP IT Bukit Quran Nusantara Mataram. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan jenis desain Non-Equivalent Control Group Design dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP IT Bukit Quran Nusantara Mataram, sedangkan yang menjadi sampelnya adalah siswa kelas VIII A yang berjumlah 26 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIII B yang berjumlah 25 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen. Dalam mengumpulkan data peneliti menggunakan tiga instrumen penelitian yaitu angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah dari hasil uji-t diperoleh bahwa hasil perhitungan diperoleh = 6.401 dan = 2.009. Dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Karena > maka Ho ditolak. Karena Ho ditolak maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima, artinya rata-rata hasil belajar kelas ekperimen yang menggunakan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara siswa lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol yang tanpa menggunakan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara. Dari kesimpulan tersebut dapat diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas VIII di SMP IT Bukit Quran Nusantara Mataram Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023.

Abstrack The presence of Islam did not necessarily eradicate Arabic literature, which had become a tradition of the Arab people. Through the Qur'an and Hadith, literary stylistics has become a scientific treasure preserved by the presence of prophetic rhetoric with the characteristics of jawami' al-kalam as the prerogative of Prophet Muhammad. This research, using the literature review method, aims to identify the integration of hadith and Arabic literature contained in the book "Amtsal al-Hadith" by ar-Ramahurmuzi, with his role as a writer and hadith expert in his time. The results can be observed from the copy of the book edited by Ahmad 'Abd al-Fattah Tamam, which found 137 hadiths among the 140 narrations written by Ramahurmuzy with isnad. The integration of Hadith and literature in the book is explicitly reflected in the themes that Ramahurmuzi compiled, incorporating literary elements such as amtsal, kinayah, tasybih, na't, mutsanna, and nawadir.
