Abdi Humaniora: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Bidang Humaniora adalah jurnal yang memuat implementasi hasil penelitian dalam bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang mencakup kajian pengembangan dan penerapan IPTEKS dalam bidang humaniora. Fokus dan Skop jurnal mencakup hasil penelitian dan implementasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang mencakup konsep, model dan implementasinya sebagai upaya peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan. Abdi Humaniora akan menerbitkan Artikel terpilih dalam hasil penelitian dan sosialisasi dan implementasi pengembangan IPTEKS di bidang humaniora, pendidikan, pengajaran.

Abstract

Nagari Maninjau merupakan salah satu nagari yang memiliki beberapa objek wisata yang terletak di Kabupaten Agam.Salah satunya adalah Danau Maninjau. Objek wisata tersebut merupakan objek wisata yang sedang dikembangkan oleh pemerintah di Kabupaten Agam karena keindahan alamnya. Nagari Maninjau masih terdapat kekurangan dalam pengelolaan paket wisata dan fasilitas promosi. Ini dapat dikembangkan dengan mengidentifikasi daya tarik wisata yang ada di kawasan objek wisata. Namun masyarakat lokal belum memahami bagaimana cara menyusun dan mengelola paket wisata yang memenuhi standar. Masalah yang dialami mitra tentu akan menghambat proses perkembangan pariwisata di dearah mitra tersebut dan perekonomian Nagari Maninjau pada umumnya. Adanya kerjasama Perguruan Tinggi dengan masyarakat diharapkan memberikan solusi terhadap pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat lokal dalam penyusunan paket wisata di Nagari Maninjau. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memfasilitasi masyarakat dari segi pengetahuan dan keterampilan menyusun paket wisata. Adapun bentuk kegiatan yang akan dilakukan adalah memberikan pelatihan tentang penyusunan paket wisata, membantu mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis daya tarik wisata, dan promosi paket wisata melalui website dan media social.

Abstract

The implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka supports student-centered and flexible learning methods as reflected in Differentiated Learning (DL). Through this learning method, teachers would prepare learning materials, delivery, as well as evaluations by referring to students’ readiness, willingness, and preferences in learning. Therefore, teachers’ roles are essential in identifying and supporting the students’ needs to make sure that the learning processeswould run smoothly to reach maximum results. So far, the implementation of DL is delayed due to teachers’ unreadiness to apply the new curriculum and their preference to continue teaching based on the previous curriculum. For that reason, the current curriculum could not be implemented well. Due to this matter, a training to encourage teachers’ competences in preparing English lessons based on DL is proposed. In this activity, Junior High School/Madrasa English teachers in Padang Panjang were gathered in a training of Differentiated Learning to improve the teachers’ understanding about DL and help with the necessary preparation to implement the DL-based lessons in their classrooms. During the training, teachers were asked to participate in workshops, discussions, and being involved in a special project where participants were asked to create lesson plans in line with concepts of differentiated learning.

Abstract

Tourism is an important sector in the economy of Jatiluwih Village, and visits by Japanese tourists have become a potential market that has been increasing in recent years. However, to improve the quality of service for Japanese tourists which indirectly can expand market share, tourism actors need to have adequate knowledge of the culture, customs and habits of Japanese people as well as the ability to communicate using basic Japanese, with the aim of providing the best service. Post-pandemic, the world of tourism has revived. To revive work enthusiasm and service attitude to Japanese tourists, the role of the university is needed to help provide knowledge and skills to tourism actors when communicating with tourists of different cultures, therefore misunderstandings can be avoided in communication. One of the efforts to increase the knowledge and skills of tourism actors in Jatiluwih Village, required hospitality and Japanese culture training. This training involved experts who have experience in the tourism industry and expertise in Japanese culture. Through this training, it was hoped that tourism actors will gain in-depth knowledge of Japanese culture, including language, customs, and the ethics of interacting with Japanese tourists. They were also trained in hospitality skills which include communication, hospitality, service skills, and understanding of Japanese guest preferences.

Abstract

Perancangan promosi dirancang sedemikian rupa untuk menghasilkan media alternatif bagi konsumen dari Viel Beauty And Glow untuk lebih mengetahui produk yang dijual dan merchandise apa yang disediakan Viel Beauty And Glow serta dapat menjadi promosi digital audio video. Masalah yang diidentifikasi adalah persaingan pasar dan tidak efektif-nya media promosi sehingga audience dan konsumen yang belum mengetahui produk dari Viel Beauty And Glow. Dalam menyelesaikan masalah tersebut, digunakan metode analisis 4D, dimana metode ini diawali mendefenisikan masalah Viel Beauty And Glow, menentukan serta merancang media video, mengembangakn promosi dan hasil perancangan yang sudah final disebarkan melalui beberapa platform digital. Perancangan ini akan menghasilkan sebuah output yaitu video promosi berdurasi satu menit yang berisi kegunaan produk. Berdasarkan uji Kelayakan, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa Video merupakan media yang efektif, dan komunikatif untuk menyampaikan sebuah informasi dan menarik minat target pasar dengan menyajikan tampilan secara audio dan visual sehingga pesan mudah dimengerti dan dipahami. Selain itu, perancangan media video promosi dinilai memiliki visual yang sangat baik, dan kemudahan audience dalam memahami informasi terbilang baik. Setelah perancangan media utama, dirancang juga beberapa media pendukung seperti: Instagram reels, tiktok, poster, sticker, iklan televisi, feed Instagram, dan postingan story.

Abstract

Art performances in schools can be carried out as an intracurricular part of cultural arts learning. On the other hand, art performances are also a forum for student creativity in various multi-event extracurricular activities with various targets. Of the many art performances that have been performed by students of SMA Negeri 1 Harau, both in music, dance, theater, and so on, the results of the performances achieved also vary in quality. However, the discussion of the quality of the performance results is more concentrated on the material issues of music, dance, theater, and so on. Even though the problem of the absence of performance room arrangement and audio equipment systems that meet the acoustic standards of art performances, is also a determining factor for the quality or not of art performances in schools. The results of monitoring since the survey, it is suspected that teachers do not have knowledge and technical skills about this problem, so the burden of the risk of art performances that are of low audio and acoustic quality, and have damaged the performance material itself, ultimately falls on students and audio/soundsystem equipment providers. The implication is that the quality of art performances in schools is not comparable to the waste of school budgets that have been provided for the procurement of an art performance.
