Abstract

This study aims to implement the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model with an Islamic values ​​approach to improve honesty and responsibility attitudes of grade 3 students of MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Sukorame Gandusari Trenggalek East Java. Honesty and responsibility are important characters that need to be developed early on, especially in an educational environment based on Islamic values. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles, involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and questionnaires which were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed that the application of the PBL model with an Islamic values ​​approach significantly improved students' honesty and responsibility attitudes. This can be seen from the increase in honesty and responsibility scores measured through behavioral observations and student questionnaires in each cycle. In addition, students are more active in the learning process, more open in expressing opinions, and more responsible in completing assignments. Thus, the PBL model based on Islamic values ​​is effective in instilling positive attitudes in students and can be an alternative learning strategy applied in Islamic elementary schools or Islamic-based elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning activity in the Fiqh subject of zakat fitrah material through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in class V of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Mekarsari. Students' learning activity is an important factor in the learning process that can affect the understanding of the material being taught. The CTL model was chosen because it can connect learning materials with everyday life, so that students can more easily understand and apply the material being taught. This study uses a qualitative approach with the classroom action method (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the application of the CTL model can improve students' learning activity, both in terms of involvement in discussions, questions and answers, and zakat fitrah practice activities. In addition, students' understanding of zakat fitrah material also increased significantly. Thus, the CTL model is proven to be effective in improving students' activity and understanding in the Fiqh subject, especially zakat fitrah material in class V of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Mekarsari. It is hoped that the results of this study can provide a positive contribution to the development of learning methods in madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using group discussion methods in increasing students' faith in the Messenger of Allah SWT in students of SDN 091567 Bah Jambi. This method is considered effective in helping students understand and internalize Islamic teachings, especially related to faith in the Messenger of Allah SWT. This study uses a qualitative approach with a classroom action research design. The results of the study indicate that group discussions have a positive impact on students' understanding and faith in the Messenger of Allah SWT, marked by an increase in students' enthusiasm and understanding of the material being taught. Group discussions also strengthen relationships between students and encourage collaboration in understanding religious teachings. These data were obtained through observations during open classes. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively, by describing the number and percentage of active, enthusiastic and enthusiastic students who increased their enthusiasm for learning. The results of observations on student activities were discussed during reflection, and used as a basis for determining the next learning model. Students were very active and enthusiastic in using the discussion method to achieve an increase of 10% in the pre-cycle and 15% in cycle 1 and cycle 2.

Abstract

Implementation of Role Playing Method to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Mathematics Subjects About Addition Story Problems for Class 2 of State Elementary School 3 Banjarnegara in the 2021-2022 academic year. The purpose of this study is as an effort to improve student learning outcomes that are still far from the learning success rate of at least 80%. In addition, this study was conducted as a Strengthening of Professional Skills as a Teacher. Based on the results achieved in the initial learning, only 63% of students were declared to have passed the learning process, while other students felt bored because the learning process with the lecture method turned out to be very monotonous and did not involve students, making them uninterested in understanding the lesson, which made the grades they achieved below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). In the process of improving learning in the first cycle with the classical demonstration method, there was an increase in success, although the increase was not optimal, reaching 74%, but in the second cycle learning process with the Role Playing method in groups, success increased sharply to 85%. Thus, it can be ascertained that the way to teach students is by involving students directly, namely through the Role Playing method, this makes students motivated to improve their understanding, so that the learning outcomes achieved by students are at a level that meets the KKM.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the Snowball Throwing type cooperative learning model to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes at MIS Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Tanjunganom. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles, involving sixth-grade students. The research procedure includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection in each cycle. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observations, and interviews to analyze the effectiveness of the Snowball Throwing model in mathematics learning. The results show that the implementation of the Snowball Throwing model can increase student engagement, communication among students, and understanding of mathematical concepts. Before the model was implemented, the average test score of students was 65, while after the implementation in the second cycle, the average test score increased to 85. Thus, it can be concluded that the Snowball Throwing model is effective in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes at MIS Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Tanjunganom.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the demonstration method can improve student learning achievement with ablution material for class II students of SDN 1403 Tiga Serangkai in 2025. This classroom action research uses a demonstration method by demonstrating or showing students a process, a situation being studied so that the process of student acceptance of the lesson will be more memorable in depth. This study is a PTK with 3 cycles through 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 32 students. The hypothesis proposed is that if the demonstration method can be used properly, it can improve student learning achievement in PAI subjects for class II students of SDN 1403 Tiga Serangkai in 2025. The success indicator is 75% with a KKM of 75. Data collection techniques with observation. Data analysis techniques with formulas to determine the average value and percentage. The results of the study showed that learning achievement in cycle I was 44% or 14 students with KKM 75, cycle II was 56% or 18 students with KKM 75 and in cycle III was 81% or 26 students for the material of the pillars of ablution and 87.5% or 28 students for the material of the sunnah of ablution with KKM 75. The increase in student learning achievement in cycle I to cycle II was 12% with KKM 75, the increase in achievement in cycle II to cycle III with the material of the pillars of ablution was 25% and in the material of the sunnah of ablution was 31.5%.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aimed to improve the ability of young children at TK ICCI Gurky Namu Terasi to memorize daily prayers using the singing method. The research was conducted in two cycles, where the first cycle focused on introducing simple, repetitive songs to teach prayers, while the second cycle increased the frequency of singing activities and included additional strategies like visual aids and rewards. The results showed significant improvements in the children's ability to memorize and recite daily prayers. The use of music engaged the children, making the learning process enjoyable and effective. By incorporating melody and rhythm, the children were able to retain prayers more easily. Additionally, the social and emotional benefits of group singing were observed, as the children developed better communication skills and increased confidence. The study concluded that the singing method is an effective tool for teaching young children daily prayers, making the learning process more interactive, engaging, and memorable. The findings suggest that this approach can be applied to other areas of early childhood education to enhance learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of the discovery method in improving the learning outcomes of grade 3 students of MI Al-Karomah on the material of plural and shortened prayers. The discovery method is a learning approach that encourages students to actively discover concepts and principles through the process of exploration, observation, and independent analysis. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experiment design. The sample used consisted of grade 3 students of MI Al-Karomah who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group that applied the discovery method and the control group that used conventional learning methods. Data collection was carried out through learning outcome tests, observations, and interviews. The results showed a significant increase in the learning outcomes of students taught using the discovery method compared to the traditional method. Students in the experimental group showed a deeper understanding of the concept of plural and shortened prayers and had higher learning motivation. Thus, the discovery method has proven effective in improving students' understanding and learning outcomes in this material. The implications of this study indicate that the discovery method can be an innovative learning strategy in Islamic Religious Education, especially in teaching fiqh material.

Abstract

his study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the scaffolding method in improving student learning outcomes on the material of respecting parents at SDN 101943 Bengkel, Perbaungan District. Scaffolding is a learning strategy that provides gradual guidance to students until they can understand the material independently. In this study, the method used was classroom action research (CAR) with a quantitative approach. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and interviews to assess the development of student understanding before and after the implementation of scaffolding. The results showed that the scaffolding method contributed positively to improving students' understanding of the material of respecting parents. The support provided by the teacher, such as guiding questions, concrete examples, and group discussions, helped students build better understanding. In addition, students became more active in the learning process and were able to internalize the moral values ​​taught. In conclusion, the systematic and sustainable application of the scaffolding method can improve student learning outcomes, especially in material related to moral values. Therefore, this method can be an effective learning alternative at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Scaffolding method in improving learning outcomes on respecting parents in class 1 of MI Muhammadiyah Sidamulya, Kemranjen, Banyumas, Central Java. The Scaffolding method is applied by providing gradual guidance according to the level of students' understanding, so that they can understand the material more deeply. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and learning outcome tests before and after the implementation of the Scaffolding method. The results showed that the Scaffolding method significantly improved students' understanding of the concept of respecting parents. Students became more active in the learning process, were able to internalize moral values, and showed more positive changes in attitudes in everyday life. The increase in the average value of learning outcomes after the implementation of this method showed the effectiveness of the learning strategy used. In addition to having an impact on academic results, the Scaffolding method also contributes to the formation of students' character. With gradual guidance and motivation from teachers, students become more confident in expressing opinions, interacting with peers, and implementing an attitude of respecting parents in their social lives. In conclusion, the Scaffolding method is an effective learning strategy to improve students' understanding and attitudes towards the material of respecting parents. Therefore, this method can be an alternative in learning Civic Education (PKN) in elementary schools to instill moral values ​​more deeply.
