Abstract

The health sector has adopted Information Technology to help medical expert work easier, include ophthalmologists. An Ophthalmologists diagnoses red eyes with test series to determine diseases of the eye. It takes time and accuracy. Further searching, it turns out that red eyes have a pattern that indicates a certain disease. The research idea is to identify red eye patterns, which is done by identifying patterns in red eye disesase using the Histogram Oriented Gradient (HOG). As a sample, two cases of red eye disease were taken: conjunctival injection and ciliary injection. First step is preprocessing stage, which is specifying the image according to the needs, then converting the colored object to grayscale, then croped and resized it. Next step is calculated gradient of pixels. Result of the resaeGradients resulted classified using Support Vector Machine. The result obtained from the study, could be detected conjunctival injection and ciliary injection based on classification

Abstract

This research identified form of symbolic violence in Beartown novel written by Fredrik Backman. The novel displays a social phenomenon where social ideas and expectation constraint women’s life. Symbolic violence helps explaining the phenomenon by looking on how dominant people imposed their view over women for granted. In analyzing the object, the research is equipped with Bourdieu’s theory of symbolic violence. The research is designed in qualitative framework which allows an analysis of interactive variables. In collecting the data, the research applied close reading to the novel. Then, the data is analyzed with latent content analysis. The research found that symbolic violence is exerted mostly through censorship and then euphemism. On censorship, the community preserved desirable view from referring to biased psychological assumption, enforcing dominant view in social, limiting the women’s role, and limiting inclusion of women in sport. On euphemism, symbolic violence is rendered as gentle through gift-debt, familiarity, hospitality, concern, worries, obligation, confidence, and jokes. There is two interesting findings in the analysis. Both forms imposed dominant values which subordinated women in social, education, and sport fields. The second finding is the implication of censorship as frequent used. It displays and confirms the community’s attitude as defensive and protective towards threat on their dominance; including their dominant view

Abstract

The teaching and learning process in several kindergartens in the Gayungan area of Surabaya during this pandemic, students were given assignments from the books and assignment sheets were distributed every Monday. During the pandemic, because most children study independently at home, it would be better if the teaching materials provided varied. Making innovative teaching materials can increase children's interest in learning. One alternative teaching media is animation. This service program aims to carry out training in making animation teaching materials using Ms Power Point and help make some teaching materials for kindergartens. The training is carried out with a participatory approach, where each teacher is guided to practice the material being taught directly. The results of this service program are: (1) increasing teacher competence in making animated teaching materials, (2) creating interesting animated teaching materials

Abstract

This research the effect of corporate governance mechanisms and quality audit of the integrity of financial statements. The research population is 164 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. Based on the purposive sampling method, 26 manufacturing companies that listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2018 as a sample research and a total sample of 130. The data were selected from the company's annual report and analysed using multiple linear regression. Integrity measurement financial statements using conservatism. The results of the study show that managerial ownership and institutional ownership have a positive effect to the integrity of financial statements. Independent commissioners, audit committees, and audit quality has no effect on the integrity of the financial statements

Abstract

To meet the 23% renewable energy mix target by 2025, the Indonesian government continues to encourage the installation of on-grid rooftop solar power generator systems for PLN electricity customers. However, the results were not as expected. This was due to the high investment costs and there were still many public doubts about the effectiveness of solar energy results in an effort to save PLN electricity bill payments. In this study, an on-grid rooftop solar power generator system with 1000WP solar panel power was implemented on the customer of electricity PLN 900VA R1M to determine the energy gain produced by the system in an effort to reduce the amount of PLN electricity bill payments. The results of the research for 6 months show that the daily average power of the solar system was 300 watts, with an average daily energy gain of 1.8kWH. The average daily electricity consumption of PLN is 7.85 kWH. The energy efficiency of the solar power generator system installed by PLN 900VA electricity customers can reach 23% with savings in billing costs for 6 months of 8%

Abstract

This research aims (1) to find out how the price, promotion and product quality influences consumer satisfaction of Le Minerale bottled water Tabanan Bali in the new normal era, (2) to find out how the prices influences consumer satisfaction of Le Minerale bottled water Tabanan Bali in the new normal era, (3) to find out how the promotions influences consumer satisfaction of Le Minerale bottled water Tabanan Bali in the new normal era, and (4) to find out how the product qualities influences consumer satisfaction of Le Minerale bottled water Tabanan Bali in the new normal era. The population used in this study were people in Tabanan Regency who had consumed Le Minerale bottled water products at least 3 times. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The number of respondents is at least 100. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis using Microsoft Excel 2019 and SPSS version 25 program. From this research show that (1) price, promotion and product quality influences simultaneously consumer satisfaction of Le Minerale bottled Tabanan Bali in the new normal era, (2) price has no influences on consumer satisfaction of Le Minerale bottled Tabanan Bali in the new normal era, (3) promotion has influences on consumer satisfaction of Le Minerale bottled Tabanan Bali in the new normal era, and (4) product quality has influences on consumer satisfaction of Le Minerale bottled Tabanan Bali in the new normal era

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Human Resource Competence, Supporting Devices, Internal Control Systems and Organizational Support on the Successful Implementation of Accrual-Based Government Accounting Standards. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. This research was conducted on 20 Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) of Klaten Regency. The number of samples taken was 85 employees. This research uses purposive sampling. Data collected by the questionnaire method. Data analysis using Multiple Regression Analysis which includes descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing (multiple linear regression, simultaneous test, and partial test). Based on the test results in this study, it can be said that the competence of human resources and internal control systems affect the successful application of accrual-based government accounting standards. Meanwhile, supporting tools and organizational support have no effect on the success of implementing accrual-based government accounting standards

Abstract

TOM is a vegetable supplier to various Yogyakarta supermarkets. During this time, C. V. TOM was unable to meet market demand due to fluctuations in demand. CV. TOM needs time to extend the product in advance from partner farmers, so it is important that C.V. TOM in order to be able to estimate the demand for vegetables to be delivered in the future. These problems should be investigated using forcasting methods to ensure that C.V. TOM fully meets the needs of the market. The forecasting method used here is the multiplicative Holt-Winter method, as the processed data are not stationary or fluctuating product demand data. In the Holt-Winter algorithm, the parameters α, β, ɣ must be determined first. This determination is random and therefore does not necessarily lead to an accurate forecast. In this study, the parameter values α, β, ɣ ​​are searched using a genetic algorithm. Here we use genetic operators, namely single point crossing and reverse mutation. The fitness function used is the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE), the higher the value, the lower the fitness value. The result of this research α = 0.1119; β = 0.1884 and ɣ = 0.9186 at 5.0571% of MAPE, which means that the predictions are very accurate. This condition can be achieved using the parameters of the genetic algorithm, namely the probability of mutation/crossover = 0.013, the number of chromosomes = 10 and the number of generations is 500

Abstract

The Indonesian National Exams was a standard evaluation tool for students in junior high school to measure graduate competencies achievement on some subjects. It had been carried out for more than a decade based on government regulation number 19 of 2005 which was revised to number 19 of 2015. Additionally, it aimed to provide a quality map of Indonesian education. In accordance with the National Exam aim, the objectives of this research are for (1) knowing the result of visual analysis of National Exam average score (2) knowing which the most influential subjects to the National Exam average score (3) analyzing the National Exam score cluster. Data used in this research is National Exam average score from 2016 to 2019 taken from the Center for Educational Assessment of the Ministry of Education and Culture. The result shows that in general there is a statistical significant decrease on average score of National Exam of 2016 and the years after for all subjects. National Exam which was computer based and incorporated higher order thinking skill (hots) questions was suspected to contribute to the decline. Furthermore, after 2016 National Exam was no longer a vital factor to determine graduation so that its role was not as important as before. There are also differences in average National Exam score among regions. There were 7 provinces which their average score were below the national average score. The results of principle component analysis shows some subjects contribute most to the overall average score. Moreover, the result of cluster analysis confirms that there is still a disparity education quality between provinces in Indonesia. Therefore, the regular government policies to reduce this disparity are necessary.

Abstract

Rural economic restructuring needs to be done immediately by utilizing village resources optimally with the entrepreneurial movement. One of the entrepreneurial movements is through the development of Tourism Villages. From the development of tourist villages, it can create or increase the role of MSME groups in the surrounding area. Weak financial literacy and access to capital for MSMEs often hinder their performance progress. With good financial management in the MSME group, it will improve the progress of their business. The purpose of this study was to identify and assess the level of effectiveness of financial governance and management in MSME groups in tourist villages. The research method used is qualitative by conducting observations and interviews with key informants in the tourist village of Sekapuk, Gresik. The results showed that the governance and financial management of the Mbok Inggih MSME group was based on a joint venture capital system and profit sharing through PKK management. This system can be said to be effective because it meets the Empowerment index. The Empowerment index assesses the effectiveness of MSME empowerment from 7 indicators
