Abstract

The development of a religious society requires appropriate da'wah strategies to ensure that Islamic values are understood and practiced in everyday life. This study aims to analyze the da'wah strategies implemented by Tgh. Irham Fahmi in fostering a religious community in Batu Ngulik Village, Praya District. This study employed a qualitative approach with a field research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that Tgh. Irham Fahmi implemented three da'wah strategies, namely bil-lisan (verbal preaching), bil-hal (preaching through exemplary actions), and bil-mal (preaching through charitable giving). The bil-lisan strategy was carried out through regular religious gatherings held twice a week, covering topics such as Qur'anic interpretation, Islamic morals, and Islamic jurisprudence. The bil-hal strategy was demonstrated through exemplary conduct in worship, polite communication, and a modest lifestyle, which encouraged positive behavioral changes among community members, particularly young people, to become more active in worship and to exhibit better moral conduct. Meanwhile, the bil-mal strategy was implemented through monthly financial assistance for orphans and underprivileged families, house renovation support for low-income residents, and the provision of clean drinking water facilities for the local community. The findings indicate that the integrated implementation of these three strategies has enhanced religious understanding, strengthened religious values, and promoted positive behavioral changes toward a more religious society. These findings suggest that da'wah strategies integrating effective communication, exemplary conduct, and social concern are effective in fostering a religious community.

Abstract

This study wants to lift and to determine the extent of the element animisms confidence and dynamism, in the Islamic community in Aceh, from their daily practice and so as to provide an overview and fanatical form of the customs, traditions and culture of Hinduism. As if, they believe and assume that on the big stump, banyan tree and trees, as well as objects that can be believed to have supernatural animism and dynamism. So the results of research that has been carried out that the Islamic community in Aceh until today still cling to the dogma that has been left by the previous, in the form of heresy, superstition and superstition and has become a daily belief in which it is difficult to be abandoned and omitted. Although that brings the teaching is not from Islam, precisely indirect trust, can form in socializing everyday highly unethical so impressed negative.

Abstract

Digital literacy has become one of the most important competencies in the information technology era, especially for students as agents of change. The Communication and Information Agency (Diskominfo) of Banyumas Regency has a strategic role in improving digital literacy through various communication programmes. This study aims to analyse the communication strategies implemented by Diskominfo Banyumas in improving digital literacy among students. The research method used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that Diskominfo Banyumas implements communication strategies through three main approaches: (1) Education through Social Media and Websites, (2) Training and Workshops, and (3) Collaboration with Higher Education Institutions. Challenges faced include budget constraints, student participation, and dynamic technological adaptation. Recommendations from this study include strengthening collaboration with universities, improving creative content, and conducting continuous evaluation to ensure the effectiveness of the programme.

Abstract

This article examines the structural challenges of new media use among Muslim Alpha Generation children in Indonesia from an Islamic character education perspective. Alpha Generation, born after 2010 and raised entirely in a digital ecosystem, represents the most exposed yet most vulnerable cohort in Indonesia's digital landscape regarding Islamic character formation. Using a systematic literature review method that integrates Islamic character education theory, generational communication theory, digital literacy frameworks, and empirical findings on Alpha Generation's religious attitude formation, this study analyzes four interconnected dimensions of challenge: (1) the structural dominance of algorithmic agendas that displace Islamic values in children's content consumption; (2) multidimensional digital literacy deficits that hinder critical engagement with religious information on social media; (3) the weakening of family-based Islamic socialization amid digital distraction; and (4) the gap between the potential of digital media for Islamic education and its actual utilization. The article argues that effective solutions require an integrated tripartite architecture involving family, Islamic educational institutions (pesantren and madrasah), and community, positioned not as supplementary but as foundational infrastructure for Islamic character development. Findings from referenced studies confirm that structured digital accompaniment programs, parental digital literacy strengthening, and Islamic-values-integrated curricula produce measurable improvements in children's positive media behavior and religious attitude formation.

Abstract

Contemporary moral dynamics in Aceh indicate that the existence of regulations and law enforcement is not fully sufficient to foster moral awareness and character development in a sustainable manner. Issues such as sexual violence, drug abuse, harmful use of digital media, and other social problems have legal as well as educational, cultural, and ethical dimensions. This article aims to formulate a conceptual model of the Islamic Higher Education Ethical Ecosystem as a paradigm for developing academic community members in responding to contemporary moral dynamics in Aceh. The study employs a library research method with a qualitative-conceptual approach. Data were obtained from relevant regulations, books, scholarly articles, and official documents and were analyzed through content analysis and conceptual analysis. The findings indicate that the ethical ecosystem is constructed through the interrelationship of four main elements: character education, academic culture, da'wah as ethical praxis, and institutional collaboration. These four elements are oriented toward the realization of public welfare (maṣlaḥah) from the perspective of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. In this model, Islamic higher education institutions are not positioned as law-enforcement institutions, but as centers of value transformation through education, research, community engagement, and the development of academic culture. This article offers a conceptual contribution in the form of the Islamic Higher Education Ethical Ecosystem as a preventive paradigm that connects individual development, institutional culture, and social collaboration in fostering academic communities that are knowledgeable, virtuous, academically integrated, and socially responsible.
