Abstract

  This research is entitled Analysis of Controversial Issues of the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict on the Deddy Corbuzier Podcast with Buya Arazy (Ferdinand de Saussure Semiotics Analysis). The purpose of this research is to find out how the controversial issues that Buya Arazy views on the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict through a podcast on Deddy Corbuzier's Youtube channel entitled Behind the Palestinian Genocide, There is an Invisible Mastermind, Israel and ....’. This research uses Ferdinand de Saussure's Semiotics Analysis model which divides the sign into two, namely signifier and signified. then the results of the study were found including: Not pro Hamas and Fatah, the Palestinian State has an internal conflict that is the cause of their war and many bad people take advantage of the donations of the Indonesian people.

Abstract

The slogan ‘Al-Aqsa Haqquna’ which means ‘Al-Aqsa Mosque belongs to us’ has become a symbol of struggle in the solidarity campaign for Palestine. Introduced by the Aqsa Working Group (AWG) since 2006, the slogan asserts the right of Muslims to Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli occupation. In this study, Roland Barthes' semiotic theory is used to analyse the meaning of the slogan in various forms, such as chants in solidarity rallies and visual media such as posters.This study uses qualitative and quantitative methods, with descriptive analysis techniques to illustrate how this slogan shapes the collective consciousness of Muslims. The meaning of ‘Haqquna’ (our right) in this slogan reflects absolute ownership that cannot be taken away, emphasising the urgency of the struggle for the liberation of Al-Aqsa.The results show that this slogan is not only a unifier in solidarity actions, but also strengthens the identity of the struggle for the Palestinian people. The sound of this slogan in various countries, including Indonesia, builds the spirit of togetherness and provides moral support for the Palestinians. As a recommendation, this slogan should be patented as an intellectual right and designed in a uniform typography and colour to make it easier to identify. This research is useful for humanitarian organisations and Muslim movements in strengthening solidarity communication strategies for Palestine.

Abstract

Happy communication is a crucial aspect of building harmonious interpersonal relationships, where emotional transfer plays a role in effectively conveying and receiving emotions. This study employs a literature review method to analyze how emotional transfer in communication enhances social connectedness and individual psychological well-being. The findings reveal that happiness-infused communication contributes to improved relationship quality across various contexts, including family, workplace, and education. The emotional contagion phenomenon explains how emotions spread from one individual to another, fostering a more positive social environment. However, challenges such as differences in emotional perception and cultural factors can affect the effectiveness of happy communication. Therefore, increasing emotional awareness and communication skills is essential to optimize emotional transfer in communication.

Abstract

Instagram is so familiar with the daily activities of students, in fact, many of them must open Instagram every day. The purpose of this study is to find out how KPI STAI Al-Fatah Cileungsi Bogor students use Instagram as a medium for da'wah. This study is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. The research sample was Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Students at STAI Al-Fatah Cileungsi Bogor who use Instagram and access Islamic messages on Instagram. The research sample was determined by random sampling. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that Instagram provides many benefits as a medium of da'wah. In utilizing Instagram as a medium of da'wah for KPI students, there are two types of utilization: 1) Utilization of Instagram as a medium of communication, 2) Utilization of Instagram as a medium of da'wah. The conclusion of this study is that students use it as a medium to convey da'wah messages and as access to the da'wah messages themselves.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital, khususnya media sosial, telah membawa dampak signifikan dalam penyebaran dakwah Islam. Media sosial seperti YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, dan TikTok memberikan kesempatan bagi dakwah untuk mencapai audiens yang lebih luas dan beragam, dari kalangan muda hingga orang tua, tanpa terbatas oleh ruang dan waktu. Namun, meskipun menawarkan peluang besar, penggunaan media sosial dalam dakwah juga menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk penyebaran informasi yang tidak valid dan potensi penyalahgunaan platform untuk tujuan ekstremis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran media sosial dalam dakwah Islam di era digital, mengeksplorasi peluang yang dapat dimanfaatkan, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang ada. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif, melalui analisis berbagai literatur terkait dakwah digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial menawarkan peluang seperti jangkauan luas, kemudahan akses, serta variasi konten menarik untuk dakwah. Namun, tantangan seperti kesenjangan digital, perubahan algoritma platform, dan ketidakakuratan informasi perlu diperhatikan agar dakwah dapat disampaikan secara efektif. Penelitian ini diharapkan bisa memberikan wawasan bagi pendakwah dalam mengoptimalkan media sosial sebagai sarana dakwah yang lebih efektif dan relevan dengan perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

The film "God Allows Me to Sin" is a film directed by Hanung Bramantyo and in it raises an unusual religious story and the issue of sexual harassment experienced by a female student who is intelligent and grew up in a family with strong religious beliefs. The religious story in it is what makes the researcher interested in studying more deeply from the perspective of da'wah. Therefore, the researcher reviewed 4 journals that reviewed this film. The method chosen in this study is a qualitative approach with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) design which is carried out in several stages including; 1) Asking questions 2) Study findings 3) Critical evaluation of study findings 4) Data collection 5) Data analysis and reporting. This research results that in the film "God Allows Me to Sin" effectively represents the message of da'wah and Islamic values through the narrative of inner conflict, criticism of hypocrisy, and the challenge of da'wah in the modern era. Through a strong visual approach and complex main characters, this film proves that film media can be a means of communicative, inspiring, and relevant da'wah to convey moral messages and religious reflections to the wider community, especially the younger generation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah cara penyebaran pesan keagamaan, termasuk dakwah Islam, ke dalam ruang-ruang virtual seperti media sosial. YouTube menjadi salah satu platform utama dalam menyampaikan pesan dakwah yang menjangkau audiens lintas budaya dan latar belakang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pluralisme direpresentasikan dalam konten dakwah Ustadz Fakhruddin Faiz di kanal YouTube-nya. Ustadz Faiz dikenal sebagai pendakwah yang menggunakan pendekatan filosofis, dialogis, dan terbuka terhadap keragaman budaya, agama, dan cara berpikir.Studi ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi untuk menelaah beberapa video yang dipilih secara purposif dari kanal YouTube Ustadz Fakhruddin Faiz. Fokus utama terletak pada narasi-narasi dakwah yang menunjukkan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman, penggunaan istilah-istilah lintas disiplin (agama, filsafat, dan budaya), serta bagaimana audiens merespons pesan-pesan tersebut melalui kolom komentar.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pluralisme dalam dakwah Ustadz Faiz direpresentasikan melalui ajakan berpikir kritis, empati terhadap perbedaan, serta reinterpretasi ajaran Islam dalam konteks kemanusiaan universal. Strategi dakwah yang digunakan cenderung menghindari polarisasi dan mengedepankan pemahaman lintas perspektif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa media sosial dapat menjadi ruang produktif untuk menyebarkan dakwah Islam yang inklusif dan humanis di tengah realitas masyarakat global yang majemuk.

Abstract

This study is a content analysis of YouTube videos depicting the feud between Nikita Mirzani and her daughter, Lolly. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of cyberbullying on students (adolescents) in the context of education in Indonesia. Cyberbullying is a form of bullying carried out through digital media and is prevalent among teenagers. This behaviour is influenced by various factors, both internal and external, including family, school, and community environments.The method used is a qualitative approach through content analysis and literature review, referencing various sources such as journals, books, and relevant documents. The research findings indicate that cyberbullying has a serious impact on students' learning processes, causing psychological disturbances such as stress, depression, and even suicidal tendencies.In the cases of Nikita Mirzani and Lolly, it is evident that children tend to imitate their mothers' controversial behaviour. This phenomenon indicates the exploitation of fantasy and public image for economic gain through digital platforms. However, such actions indirectly foster negative character traits among viewers, particularly teenagers, and have the potential to undermine educational, moral, and religious values of the nation.Therefore, such digital content requires serious attention as it negatively impacts children's development and the education system in Indonesia.

Abstract

Preaching through local wisdom of earthly charity is a tradition that integrates religious values and cultural traditions, which is key to building effective relationships with the community. This study focuses on how this strategy of preaching through earth-wise local wisdom in Linggoasri village works. Methodology This study used qualitative method with data collection being done in the form of observation and interviews. The results of the research show that the strategy of Sedekah Bumi or legenonan in Linggoasri is with a cultural and socio-cultural approach as a form of gratitude to God, not only the Muslim community participates, but the Hindu, Buddhist and Christian community also participate actively in the activities of sedekah bumi. Thus, earthly charity can be an effective preaching in Linggoasri in its various diversities.

Abstract

The world of education plays a very important role in shaping the character and personality of students, where the importance of involving the role of Islamic communication ethics in the world of education carried out by educators is often overlooked and not applied. However, this is necessary to create harmonious interactions between educators and students. Therefore, Islamic communication ethics are very important for educators in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. This study will discuss the urgency of Islamic communication ethics for educators in education, using a research method that involves reviewing books, journals, and related references on Islamic communication ethics in education. The application of Islamic communication ethics in education will enhance the quality of Islamic educational interactions between educators and students by adhering to the principles and ethics of Islamic communication. This will ultimately create a harmonious, inclusive, and Islamic learning environment.
