Abstract

The present work proposes a model of responsible digitalization in the Democratic Republic of Congo, by implementing an eco-optimized network based on VLANs while reducing the carbon footprint, the technologies to be adopted and the energy and ecological efficiency measurement indicators to minimize the greenhouse gas emissions in DRC. The goals of such an architecture are to simplify the infrastructure, increase virtualization, save hardware and software, rationalize the use of the information system, reduce energy consumption and finally reduce the carbon footprint of the information system. With regard to the design of an optimal local network within the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI), we opted to set up a virtual local network (VLAN) that will be adapted to all DGI services. The architecture for the implementation of the optimal network within the DGI is composed of the following elements Seven VLANs for the Central Directorates; One VLAN for the operational services; One core switch (Cisco manageable switch), which enabled us to manage our network; One router with firewall for managing inter-VLAN traffic, and incoming and outgoing traffic for Internet access; Eight distribution switches that can connect equipment in the same VLAN.

Abstract

Information technology plays a crucial role in enhancing company performance and driving business growth. Maintaining good customer relationships is essential, and Customer Relationship Management focuses on building customer commitment. Sales Force Automation systems automate sales processes and manage customer interactions. PT. Maju Jaya Kreasindo, a furniture company in East Jakarta, aims to automate its sales force and centralize operational information through a web-based Sales Force Automation system using Electronic Customer Relationship Management. The research adopts the "Prototyping" method, offering a shorter development duration and flexible implementation. Visual Studio Code and Xampp, along with PHP and MySQL, are utilized as development tools. The result is a Sales Force Automation system based on Electronic Customer Relationship Management that assists PT. Maju Jaya Kreasindo in automating its sales force. The design successfully automates tasks, supported by Electronic Customer Relationships and the prototyping method. The Sales Force Automation system passed the functionality evaluation, achieving high user acceptance test scores, and indicating its effectiveness in meeting user requirements.

Abstract

KueMbaWati is a small business that is engaged in selling cakes at this time. The sales system in the Cake Shop MbaWati in sales and purchases is still manual or the customer comes directly to the location. Meanwhile, in promoting its products to customers, KueMbaWati still uses brochures. Such a promotion system is felt to be less than optimal, due to the lack of information provided regarding the product details offered. The development of E-Commerce Applications in the MbaWati Cake Shop is a step to increase sales and facilitate product promotion, so that it can provide benefits for business owners. With this E-Commerce application, customers can order products online. E-Commerce at the MbaWati Cake Shop designed using modeling with the SDLC method (Systems Development Life Cycle) is expected to increase sales and facilitate the making of its implementation.E-Commerce, MbaWati Cake Sho

Abstract

Indonesia is a country located between three tectonic plates, namely Eurasia, the Pacific and Indo-Australia, which is one of the active plates, so that there is the potential for earthquakes, which are sometimes followed by tsunami disasters. The latest accurate, precise, and trusted earthquake information is needed by all parties. For this reason, a system is needed to inform the latest earthquake so that the impact can be minimized. Departing from open data published by BMKG, which is an earthquake in real time, a push notification system for earthquake information was designed to the Android application using Google Firebase. Push notifications are adjusted for specific areas based on user wishes. When the user is in the vicinity of an earthquake-affected or surrounding area, or the location of an earthquake is in a city that is monitored by the user, the notifications that appear can be alerts. Whereas when the user is in a location that is not affected by an earthquake, the notification that appears is only as information that there is an earthquake in a certain area. After analyzing, designing, implementing and testing using the black box testing method, push notification system functionally produces results that are as expected.

Abstract

There are several methods that can be used in evaluating the management of IT Governance in a business organization. Some of them are able to use the IT Balanced Scorecard and COBIT 5.0 framework. The Information Technology Balanced Scorecard has four perspectives, including corporate contribution, customer orientation, operational excellence and future orientation. With the implementation of the IT Balance Scorecard, the performance of business organizations such as life insurance companies is not only measured by the financial benefits, as has often been done, but also considers internal processes. In addition, the implementation of the COBIT 5.0 framework provides a comprehensive framework that helps companies achieve their goals for IT Governance. The purpose of the results of this study is a strategic recommendation for companies to be able to provide improvements in the governance and management environment of information technology in the company as one of the enablers in achieving business goals during the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of the IT governance design are in the form of a roadmap for the implementation of IT governance along with recommendations for 25 COBIT 5 processes which are the evaluation points based on the prioritization of the combination of impact and urgency.

Abstract

The development of technology and increasing human needs are two things that influence each other. As one example is the need to purchase art performance ticket using the internet. At present, most printed tickets allow misuse by irresponsible parties, but it also takes longer to get tickets. Therefore a solution is needed to purchase tickets with the website. In addition to making it easy for buyers and organizers, tickets will be accepted quickly. E-Ticketing is a way to document the sales process of a business activity without having to physically issue valuable documents or paper tickets. A website-based ticket art purchase application is needed to make purchasing process easier. The making of this application uses HTML as client-side development, PHP as server-side development, and MySQL as a database. With this application it is expected to help the organizers and buyers in making it easier to get tickets. In the testing phase this application starts from creating an account to getting a ticket going well. Then from the conclusions of the application made with this application, the buyer will get the convenience of getting tickets and buying tickets for events held at school by opening the website that has been provided.

Abstract

The current hype of quantum computing has necessitated the need for computer security stakeholders to call for the design of security algorithms that will be quantum efficient when quantum computers finally grace our computing sphere. Recent advancements in quantum computing have made cryptographic schemes more vulnerable to quantum attacks like Shor’s algorithm and Grove’s algorithm. Therefore NIST call for a new set of algorithms known as Post-Quantum cryptography that would be quantum proof is imminent.  Many Post quantum algorithms have been designed and tested. But only few of them made it to the round 3 (the final round). This paper reviewed these post quantum candidates. Literatures highlighting their scheme, properties, implementation and areas of security coverage was reviewed. Recommendations on future research areas in this field was itemized for this novel security paradigm as we await the final standardization of this cryptosystems.

Abstract

The paper intends to discuss the status of data mining applications in the normal and critical healthcare system of Bangladesh.  The paper also focuses on the data mining strategies and processes in the current healthcare system in Bangladesh. This is a secondary source-based review paper. The methodology chosen for the study is a literature review and document analysis. The literature review was done through the analysis of book chapters, research-based articles, review-based journal articles, organizational reports, and conference papers. The key findings of the study indicate that as Bangladesh is not a developed country and is a developing one, the country’s healthcare system is not up to the required standard, and the application of data mining techniques is very limited and in most cases, it is at the policy level. The implementation and practice of data-mining techniques is available in internationally recognized organizations and institutions. In these circumstances, the country’s healthcare policymakers and administrators should employ experts in data mining in healthcare services and facilities and standard technologies should be included in their administering the data mining in healthcare facilities. Besides, data mining should be incorporated with other related concepts and strategies to make the highest outcomes in health care systems.
