Jurnal Cakrawala Pendidikan dan Biologi, adalah jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Indonesia, Jurnal ini menyelidiki hubungan antara pendidikan dan ilmu biologi, menyoroti aplikasi ilmu biologi dalam konteks pendidikan. Setiap edisi membahas pengajaran biologi, inovasi kurikulum, teknologi dalam pendidikan biologi, dan penelitian tentang metode pengajaran. Abstract

This study seeks to evaluate the impact of the guided inquiry learning paradigm on the academic performance of seventh-grade students in biology at SMP Negeri 6 Tondano. This research used a quasi-experimental approach utilising a non-equivalent control group design. The study sample comprised class VII A with 25 students and class VII B with 25 students. This study's variables include the independent variable (X), which consists of users of the guided inquiry learning model, and the dependent variable (Y), which pertains to the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 6 Tondano. Data gathering methods encompass interviews, documentation such as activity reports and pertinent data, and written assessments, including multiple-choice examinations. The hypothesis test employed to assess the difference in student learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups utilises the t-test. The mean post-test learning results for Class VII B students (experimental group) utilising guided inquiry is 82.6. In contrast, the mean outcomes for Class VII A students (control group) employing direct instruction is 77. The hypothesis test findings indicate a t-test value of 2.826, which exceeds the t-table value of 2.010 at a significance level of 0.05. According to the criteria for hypothesis testing, H0 is rejected, and H1 is approved. Consequently, it can be inferred that the guided inquiry learning model positively impacts the learning results of Class VII students in biology at SMP Negeri 6 Tondano.

Abstract

Reproduction in plants from generative sex can occur with fertilization (amphimixis), or without fertilization (apomixis). Data were obtained through experimental experiments by observing under a microscope by observing the anatomical structure of the anthers and the structure of the flower ovary. Passiflora vitifolia is a species with bright red flowers that are between ten and fifteen centimeters in diameter when fully bloomed, the reproductive organs consist of stamens, pollen, pistils and ovaries. Gymnosperms are a group of open-seeded plants that do not have true flowers, and their reproductive organs consist of distinct male and female strobilus. This differentiates them from flowering plants (angiosperms). Male strobilus have microsporophylls which produce pollen, while female strobilus have macrosporophylls which function as a place for seed development.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and compare the morphological characteristics of spores in Thallophyta (lichens) and Bryophyta (mosses). The research was conducted at the Biology Laboratory of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung for one week. This study employed a descriptive method with macroscopic and microscopic observations. Samples of lichens and mosses were analyzed using a light microscope. The results showed that Thallophyta spores have asymmetrical morphology, are pale green, have a count of 15 spores, and are adaptive to extreme conditions. In contrast, Bryophyta spores are round and flat, with a reddish-brown capsule, and a larger number of spores, namely 67. These differences reflect the unique adaptation strategies of the two groups to their respective environments. Lichens, which are a symbiosis between fungi and algae, serve as indicators of environmental quality and grow on various substrates, including polluted areas. Meanwhile, mosses play an important role in maintaining soil moisture, preventing erosion, and supporting water and carbon cycles.

Abstract

The Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach effectively enhances meaningful and relevant biology learning while fostering critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. By aligning with sustainable education principles, CTL supports the achievement of SDGs and equips students to address global challenges. It is recommended that educators receive training to design CTL-based strategies, integrate local and global themes, and explore its application across diverse educational contexts and models.

Abstract

The short story "Mata yang Indah" by Budi Darma explores themes of guilt, and the human quest for redemption. This analysis examines the narrative structure, character development, and the symbolic significance of the "beautiful eyes" motif. Using a qualitative approach, this study finds that the story employs a complex interplay of memory and reality to evoke existential questions about human frailty and divine judgment. The findings contribute to understanding Indonesian literary narratives in exploring moral and spiritual conflicts. Abstract

One of the literary works "Dodolitdodolitdodolitbret" by Seno Gumira Ajidarma is a story about spirituality, which is told in an ironic way and balances the real and the sign. As a spiritual story experienced by a character named Guru Kiplik. He was very sure that "right prayer is the secret of happiness" But everything changed when he met the nine sons of the island-children. Teacher Kiplik always doesn't accept that their morals are not right, but they can walk on water. The background of this research is the depth of analysis of the intrinsic elements of short stories. Part of the background to the research provided is based on the need for in-depth analysis of the intrinsic elements in the short story so that researchers understand the moral message and social criticism conveyed by the author. The problem in this research is how the intrinsic elements, namely theme, character, plot, setting, point of view, language style and message, work together to produce the meaning of the story. This research uses a structural approach with qualitative descriptive methods. The data used is secondary data obtained through reading and note-taking techniques, then analyzed using the relevant theories. The research results show that this short story has a main theme regarding true belief and opposing principles in carrying out prayer. Kiplik's teaching figures as well as the island's inhabitants reflect the difference between formality and spiritual sincerity. The forward plot, reflective setting, omniscient point of view, and symbolic language style support the delivery of the moral message that sincerity is more important than technical mores. This research recommends further exploration of Seno Gumira Ajidarma's works in the context of social criticism and spirituality, and the use of these short stories as teaching material for understanding humanist values ​​in literature.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe language errors in writing speech scripts at SDN Talagasari, Cikupa District, Tangerang Regency in terms of spelling, affixes, reduplication, word waste and diction. The approach and type of research used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The data in this study is in the form of language errors in writing speech scripts at SDN Talagasari, Cikupa District, Tangerang Regency. The source of data for this research is the writing of speeches of grade VI students of SD Negeri Talagasari for the 2024/2025 school year. The data collection technique was carried out using the documentation method. After the speech script is read, the speech script is carefully scrutinized to find language errors that will be used as data. The researcher made a list of data variables then recorded each data found and grouped the data. in accordance with the aspects to be studied. The data analysis technique consists of three components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. This study uses a data validity check using a triangulation technique. In this case, the researcher uses data triangulation. In addition, this research is carried out through several stages, namely the pre-field stage, implementation, and research report. Based on the results of the research, several language errors were found in the writing of students' speeches. From the samples taken, the most common language errors found were spelling errors. In addition, affix errors, reduplication, word waste, and diction are also found in student essays. The results of the analysis of language errors in the writing of grade VI students of SD Negeri Talagasari, Cikupa District, Tangerang Regency for the 2024/2025 school year can be concluded as follows: (1) language errors that are often found in writing student speeches are spelling errors. Spelling errors occur due to improper writing of words, capital letters, italics, number symbols, and punctuation, (2) affix errors are found in the use of the prefix me-, prefix in-, confix se-, confix di--kan, and confix me- -kan (3) reduplication errors occur due to the use of incorrect reaffixes (4) word waste occurs because there are still many The use of words that actually do not need to be used (5) diction errors occur due to improper word selection

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' interest in learning Indonesian language subjects in class VII-I SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi in the 2024/2025 school year. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that students in class VII-I at SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi already had an interest in learning in Indonesian language subjects in class. Supporting factors for student interest in learning are student motivation, encouragement from Indonesian language teachers, a conducive learning environment and adequate facilities and infrastructure. The inhibiting factors of students' interest in learning in class VII-I SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi are the conduciveness of the classroom environment, the lack of complete learning facilities and infrastructure and the busyness of individual students when learning Indonesian subjects. Efforts made by Indonesian language teachers are providing motivation and encouragement before Indonesian language learning takes place and ensuring a conducive learning environment. The conclusion of this research is a) interest in learning plays an important role in the achievement of Indonesian language learning objectives in class VII-I SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi 2) Most students in class VII-I SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi already have the criteria for interest in learning in class 3) factors that support student interest in learning in class VII-I SMP Negeri 4 Cimahi are learning motivation, encouragement from Indonesian language subject teachers, conducive environment and adequate facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Indonesia cannot avoid the challenges of globalization, but the existence of Pancasila in Indonesia has become the principle and guideline for life to maintain its identity and existence. This research aims to describe the challenges of the younger generation in maintaining the moral and ethical values of Pancasila in the midst of globalization. Therefore, Pancasila education is very important to maintain Indonesia's identity with a young generation who is ready to face globalization at the same time. As for the problems found in field, namely 1. decreasing awareness of the value of Pancasila among citizens as a guide to life. 2. The younger generation focuses on globalization of foreign culture. 3. Increasing attitudes of individualism which tend to prioritize personal interests. Instilling Pancasila values through education, social media, and social activities is the key to maintaining the relevance of Pancasila amidst changing times. This research can provide an understanding of Pancasila values for the younger generation, as well as challenges faced in implementing Pancasila in their lives, in order to create an advanced Indonesian nation by prioritizing moral ethics in accordance with Pancasila values

Abstract

The social construction of celebrities in the world of politics has become a phenomenon that attracts attention, especially in relation to educational empowerment and media influence. Celebrity-driven voter campaigns often elicit positive responses from younger audiences, who may previously be less interested in political issues. Thus, collaboration between education and media not only increases political awareness but also encourages active community involvement. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach, analyzing previous research to understand the role of celebrities in influencing involvement in the realm of political society. The research results show that celebrities play an important role in increasing people's political awareness. Education contributes to the political understanding of celebrities, who often use their platforms to spread information about political issues. Media, especially social media, amplifies these messages and allows direct interaction with fans, encouraging political participation, especially among the younger generation. Voter campaigns promoted by celebrities often attract the attention of audiences previously less interested in politics. This research confirms that celebrities are not only entertainment figures, but also agents of social change who have the potential to influence political dynamics through education and the media.
