Abstract

The selection of laboratory assistants is a crucial process that requires decision-making based on various criteria, such as academic performance, activeness, technical skills, and communication abilities. However, manual processes often face challenges such as subjectivity and inefficiency. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to optimize the selection of laboratory assistants. We utilize the SAW method because it can integrate criterion weights and normalize data to produce objective preference values. We conducted a simulation using dummy data from 10 students and four criteria, applying weights determined through discussions with laboratory managers. The results show that student A5 achieved the highest preference score (1.000), reflecting optimal performance across all criteria. The developed system also demonstrated its ability to enhance the transparency, efficiency, and accuracy of the selection process. The implementation of this system offers a practical solution for managing student data and making fairer decisions, with potential applications in other selection contexts, such as scholarships or academic awards

Abstract

Climate change is a worldwide concern that impacts several facets of existence, necessitating active community involvement in mitigation and adaptation initiatives. The Climate Village Program (Proklim), launched by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, seeks to promote sustainable environmental management in communities. Nonetheless, the existing manual data management for Proklim frequently encounters obstacles including diminished productivity, insufficient transparency, and possible recording inaccuracies. This study seeks to create a web-based information system to facilitate Proklim data administration at the Kolaka District Environmental Office. The system employs the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, utilizing the PHP programming language, Laravel framework, and MySQL database. Black Box testing findings demonstrate that the system can execute essential operations, such as user administration, data recording, and report production, with considerable accuracy. This system's installation improves the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of Proklim data administration. This study enhances the utilization of information technology in environmental program management, specifically in promoting the sustainability of the Climate Village Program

Abstract

Ambulance services are an essential component of the healthcare system that necessitate rapid and effective administration. At Puskesmas Tanggetada, ambulance service management is conducted manually, frequently encountering issues such as inadequate coordination, delayed responses, and restricted public access to information. This study is to create and implement a web-based information system to facilitate the management of ambulance services at Puskesmas Tanggetada. The study technique encompasses requirements analysis, system design, system development utilizing web-based technologies, and functionality and user acceptance testing. The findings indicate that the built system includes essential functionality such as online ambulance service registration, real-time tracking of ambulance status, automatic user notifications, and the compilation of reports and statistics for service assessment. System testing demonstrates that these functionalities function as intended and can enhance service efficiency. Notwithstanding the system's beneficial effects, issues such as inadequate internet infrastructure and the community's digital literacy persist as significant problems necessitating smart remedies. This web-based information system provides an innovative technology solution and contributes significantly to the digitalization of local healthcare services

Abstract

The evaluation procedure for Student Creativity Program (PKM) projects necessitates an objective and efficient methodology to analyze several aspects. This project seeks to establish an evaluation system utilizing the Weighted Product (WP) approach to deliver transparent and quantifiable rankings of proposals. The review utilized five primary criteria: thematic relevance, innovation and creativity, technological feasibility, potential impact, and program sustainability, each assigned predetermined weights. Data from ten proposals were evaluated utilizing the WP approach, encompassing the phases of decision matrix normalization, preference value computation, and ranking. The findings indicated that Proposal 4 garnered the highest preference value (4.939), succeeded by Proposal 5 (4.889) and Proposal 2 (4.876), establishing them as the foremost recommendations for funding. The WP technique shown efficacy in improving the efficiency and impartiality of the PKM proposal selection process. This method's implementation can be utilized in other programs with comparable assessment difficulties

Abstract

Efficient asset management constitutes a principal challenge in administrative governance, particularly in Laloeha Village. The web-based Asset Management Information System (SIPEOT) was created to resolve problems associated with manual recording, which frequently results in data discrepancies and delays in decision-making. This study utilized the Waterfall methodology, which includes phases of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed utilizing UML diagrams and executed with PHP alongside a MySQL database. Principal features encompass asset data management, item reports, and loan reports. The testing results indicate that the system satisfactorily meets user needs. SIPEOT's integrated features are anticipated to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed in asset management for Laloeha Village. This system can be enhanced in the future with supplementary security measures and more sophisticated asset management capabilities

Abstract

Blood pressure is a vital health metric affected by multiple factors, such as age and Body Mass Index (BMI). This research seeks to forecast blood pressure utilizing age and BMI through the multiple linear regression technique. The dataset comprises 74 samples, processed with SPSS software to develop the predictive model. The study yielded the regression equation Y = 106.635 + 0.076X₁ + 0.069X₂, with X₁ denoting age and X₂ indicating BMI. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.229 signifies that the model accounts for only 22.9% of the variability in blood pressure, with the remaining proportion affected by extraneous factors not addressed in this study. According to the derived model, a 27-year-old individual with a BMI of 75 is anticipated to have a blood pressure of 113.86 mmHg. The results indicate that while age and BMI affect blood pressure, other variables like food, physical activity, stress, and medical history must be taken into account to enhance predictive precision. Consequently, additional study with more sophisticated models is advised to yield more precise and representative outcomes

Abstract

Prediksi adalah upaya meramalkan sesuatu yang akan terjadi di masa depan dengan menggunakan berbagai informasi yang relevan pada waktu sebelumnya dengan menggunakan metode ilmiah. Data mining adalah pengumpulan berbagai data atau informasi yang memiliki berbagai kegunaan dan manfaat selama periode pengumpulan data. Pemanfaatan Data Mining tidak terbatas pada teknologi saja; itu juga dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kesehatan dalam satu cara, seperti mendiagnosis diabetes menggunakan metode Naive Bayes, yang merupakan algoritma yang mengurangi risiko kesehatan dari semua metode lainnya. Diabetes melitus juga dikenal sebagai gangguan metabolisme yang ditandai dengan tingginya kadar gula darah yang berkepanjangan Diabetes dapat mengakibatkan masalah kesehatan yang serius, seperti kondisi penyakit ginjal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan dan menurunkan ambang batas gejala diabetes. Untuk melakukan penelitian ini, dataset yang digunakan adalah Diabetes Prediction Dataset yang diambil dari website Kaggle. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan algoritma Naive Bayes untuk memprediksi penyakit diabetes berdasarkan gejala-gejala awal menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 70.00% dengan pengujian menggunakan Excel dan RapidMiner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerimaan teknologi telekonferensi terhadap kepuasan pengguna di berbagai institusi. Meskipun teknologi ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah komunikasi jarak jauh, sering kali ditemukan keluhan terkait kompleksitas penggunaan dan efektivitasnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), yang mengukur persepsi kegunaan (perceived usefulness) dan kemudahan penggunaan (perceived ease of use) teknologi telekonferensi. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pengguna layanan telekonferensi dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier untuk menentukan hubungan antara variabel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa baik persepsi kegunaan maupun kemudahan penggunaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap pengguna dalam menerima teknologi ini. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa faktor kenyamanan dan dukungan teknis juga memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna. Berdasarkan temuan ini, direkomendasikan peningkatan fitur antarmuka yang lebih intuitif serta pelatihan bagi pengguna untuk memaksimalkan pemanfaatan layanan telekonferensi. Kesimpulannya, meskipun teknologi telekonferensi memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan efisiensi komunikasi, keberhasilannya sangat bergantung pada persepsi pengguna terhadap kegunaan dan kemudahan penggunaannya.

The progression of information technology offers prospects for MSME participants to improve their competitiveness via digital marketing. This study seeks to create a web-based platform to promote MSMEs focused on Toraja souvenir crafts. The approach aims to tackle the limitations of traditional promotional strategies commonly employed by business proprietors, including word-of-mouth marketing and the utilization of social media without efficient inventory management. The system development adheres to the Waterfall methodology, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing phases. The primary features developed encompass product management, internet ordering, and a payment system. The system underwent evaluation through the black-box testing methodology to verify that all functionalities perform in accordance with specifications. The results demonstrate that the established system can enhance marketing efficacy and broaden the digital market presence of MSMEs. This technology enables business owners to handle their products more effectively and access a wider consumer base without geographical constraints

Abstract

Regional asset data management is essential for government financial management to guarantee openness, accountability, and efficiency in the use of public assets. The Regional Financial and Asset Agency (BKAD) of Kolaka Regency formerly utilized manual procedures with Microsoft Excel, which presented numerous restrictions, including the potential for recording errors, data duplication, and delays in report generation. This project seeks to create a Digital Information System for Regional Asset Data Management in Kolaka Regency utilizing a web-based platform to tackle these difficulties. The system development adheres to the Waterfall process, which includes requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. The technology stack comprises PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. The system underwent Black Box Testing, which confirmed its efficacy in enhancing data accuracy, accelerating information retrieval, and facilitating automatic report preparation based on asset acquisition years. The evaluation results demonstrate that the created system improves asset management efficiency and facilitates superior decision-making processes.
