Abstract

Abstract: In the 2022 National K3 Profile, there is still a high number of PAK and KK based on global data released by the International Labor Organization (ILO), that the number of KK and PAK cases in the world reached 430 million per year, consisting of 270 million (62.8% ) KK cases and 160 million (37.2%) PAK cases, and caused the death of 2.78 million workers. every year. industries in 49 countries include occupational health physicians, occupational health nurses, occupational hygienists, safety engineers, ergonomists/physiotherapists, and psychologists to provide comprehensive K3 services. This research method is qualitative research with a phenomenological research design and uses exploratory descriptive analysis. Data collection used interview and observation methods, carried out at oil and gas and plantation companies. The results achieved in this research concluded that OHN or company nursing staff have a very important role in supporting occupational health programs and occupational welfare programs. As in interviews conducted with 3 participants, it was revealed that the role of OHN is very comprehensive. All worker activities in the company must be supervised by OHN. Apart from that, by empowering OHN within the company, management only needs to facilitate training and knowledge upgrades for the Occupational Health and Safety team for the company's financial efficiency. Abstract

Coping stress adalah cara individu untuk menyelesaikan sebuah masalah atau mengatasi permasalahannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana gambaran langsung coping stress pada perawat wanita yang sudah menikah. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang perawat wanita berprestasi yang bekerja di Rumah Sakit daerah Sumatera Barat. Subjek memiliki suami yang lumpuh dan menjadi tulang punggung tunggal dalam keluarganya. Subjek memiliki 4 orang anak yang berhasil dia sekolahkan hingga sarjana. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan interpretative phenomenological analisis (IPA). Teknik pengambilan data yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah wawancara terhadap satu subjek dan satu Significant other (orang terdekat partisipan). Pertanyaan yang diberikan kepada subjek dan Significant other telah disusun menggunakan aspek coping stress. Terdapat 3 (tiga) tema induk yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu penyebab stress kerja, upaya dalam menanggulangi stress kerja dan dampak stress kerja dan coping stress.

Abstract

Gel hand sanitizer is a gel-based hand cleaner used to cleanse or eliminate microorganisms on the hands. The white mangrove plant (Avicennia alba Blume) is a type of mangrove widely distributed throughout Indonesia and is abundant in nature. White mangrove has also been reported to be non-cytotoxic and can be used as a medicinal ingredient. The active compounds responsible for antibacterial properties in white mangrove plants include flavonoids, saponins, and tannins. Hand sanitizer can be made from the leaves of the white mangrove plant. This study aims to formulate a gel hand sanitizer from white mangrove leaf extract and evaluate the gel hand sanitizer formulation using concentrations of 30%, 20%, and 10%. The analysis method used in this research is descriptive. The study results show that the extract can be formulated into a gel preparation, and some formulations meet the evaluation criteria. The formula that meets all the evaluation criteria is F1, while F2 meets the criteria for organoleptic tests, pH tests, viscosity tests, adhesion tests, and homogeneity tests but does not meet the criteria for the spreadability test. On the other hand, F3 meets the criteria for organoleptic tests, pH tests, viscosity tests, and adhesion tests but does not meet the criteria for homogeneity and spreadability tests.

Abstract

Cases of medical negligence represent a critical issue in healthcare law, often causing significant harm to patients as victims. Such negligence not only leads to physical and psychological damages but also raises concerns about the adequacy of legal protections afforded to victims. This study aims to analyze the legal protections for victims of medical negligence by examining the decision of the Surabaya District Court, Case Number 840/Pid.B/2020/PN Sby, dated January 28, 2021. Employing a normative juridical method with a case-based approach, the research integrates document analysis and a review of relevant legal literature. The findings reveal that the court considered elements of negligence, legal consequences, and the fulfillment of victims' rights in its judgment. However, challenges persist in implementing comprehensive legal protections, particularly concerning compensation and victim rehabilitation. This article recommends strengthening regulations and healthcare policies to better safeguard victims’ rights while enhancing medical professionals’ understanding of legal obligations to prevent similar negligence in the future.
