<![CDATA[Development evaluates the effectiveness of the leadership training program "Developing Your Leadership" at the Christian Student Association of POLNES Samarinda. Using lecture methods, the program conveys basic leadership concepts and theories. The results indicate that the lecture method is effective in enhancing participants' understanding, confidence, and readiness to lead. Participants responded positively, noting that the material was delivered clearly and interactively. However, challenges such as limited time and resources were identified, indicating the need for a combination of other methods to provide a more comprehensive practical experience. This training emphasizes the importance of a holistic and flexible program design, as well as ongoing evaluation for the program's success. The program has significant potential in developing students' leadership skills with recommendations for future improvements.]]>

<![CDATA[Spiritual education for children at the Beth-El Tabernacle Church in Ngaliyan, Semarang aims to shape Christ-like character in them, encouraging children to know and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Children are taught to understand and practice God's Word in their daily lives, grow in faith, and participate in church services. To support this goal, the PkM team conducted community service activities during the odd semester of 2023/2024 at GBT Ngaliyan, Semarang. This activity, titled "Sunday School Children's Spiritual Education," employed creative and innovative teaching methods, such as Bible stories with props and puppet shows, to create an engaging and enjoyable Sunday school environment. The results of the PkM activities showed high enthusiasm from the children, which helped build their spirituality. The church felt supported and motivated to continue and develop similar activities in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[This Community Service activity is motivated by the fact that the lives of Christians are always faced with difficulties and are required to choose the right things according to God's Word in facing them. In order to choose the right thing, Christians often experience struggles, both struggles in choosing and in bearing the consequences or risks of their choices. Therefore, the aim of this activity is: First, to explain the principles that must be adhered to in choosing the right thing, even if it is difficult, both difficult in choosing and difficult in facing the risks of that choice. Second, to measure the level of respondent satisfaction with the material and delivery of the material for this activity. The method used to present this article is the descriptive method, while the method used in the activity is the lecture method. The results of this activity were: There were no (0%) people who said they were dissatisfied, there were no people (0%) who said they were dissatisfied, there were 1.25 people (1.09%) who said they were neutral, there were 78.3 people (66 .2%) said they were satisfied and 33.25 people (32.71%) said they were very satisfied. It can be concluded that the level of satisfaction of the audience or participants in this community service activity is at a high level.]]>

<![CDATA[Evangelism through holistic smart home services is very effective. Because in the process children are blessed and parents are also blessed. The Smart House in Tamanrejo Village in December 2023-February 2024 involves more than 10 members from STT Christ Alfa Omega Semarang. Coordinated by one person to organize the teaching planning. Before the implementation began, one of the representatives met with the head of the local RT to coordinate with the residents regarding the implementation of the smart home. Then after it is agreed. The coordinator divides tasks for the teaching team in teaching. In teaching in a smart home, the place used is one of the homes of residents who are willing to use it. It was agreed that the study house would be held once a week on Fridays at 16.00-17.00 WIB. In implementing the learning house, the teaching team provides teaching in accordance with the curriculum that has been created. Then after carrying out these activities, the teaching team also visited the children's parents. In this case, pre-evangelism can be carried out through curriculum studies in the home learning about character building. <![CDATA[Adolescence is a crucial period in determining the future. Career is the most important thing to think about and plan. A teenager not only needs to have careful calculations but also receive guidance from more senior people in planning his future. This research focuses on educational efforts for future planning based on James 4:13-15 for PPA Efrata ID0524 students in Loa Kulu, Kutai Kertanegara. This activity aims to provide a biblical understanding of future planning so that PPA Efrata ID0524 students get encouragement to plan well for the future. Reporting of PkM results is carried out using a qualitative approach, presented descriptively, and supported by literature studies and activity documentation. As a result, the participants who were still teenagers gained an understanding of the encouragement to plan for the future in accordance with the principles contained in James 4:13-15, namely: first, future plans need to be prepared in detail (v. 13); second, planning for the future requires awareness of one's limitations (v. 14); third, planning for the future must be according to divine will (v. 15).]]>

<![CDATA[Several members of the GKB Bahtera Hayat Semarang congregation felt injustice both in their families and at work because of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is against this background that the Pastor initiated faith training activities for the local congregation. This faith training activity is entitled: remaining comfortable in the midst of injustice based on Psalm 7 which will be held on Sunday, 14 July 2024 at GKB Bahtera Hayat, Jl. Ketileng Asri VII/E.106 Semarang. In preparing this faith training, the service uses a literature study method to carry out an exposition of Psalm 7. Meanwhile, in carrying out the service, the service uses an interactive lecture method. The results of the exposition of psalm chapter 7 show three things about how God's people remain comfortable in injustice. First, continue to take refuge in the just God (vv. 2-11). Second, continue to hope in God's justice alone (vv. 12-17). And third, remain grateful for God's justice because His justice will definitely be revealed (v. 18). The results of this PkM evaluation show that the congregation is satisfied and very satisfied with the faith training material, presentation, and exposition results of Psalm 7.]]>

<![CDATA[Adolescence, the period currently being experienced by college students, is the most important and dynamic period in the development of human emotions. Individuals who have emotional intelligence are individuals who can adapt in various situations and are able to establish good relationships with other humans. Realizing the importance of this, an education program entitled "Recognizing and Managing Emotions" at STAK PESAT Salatiga was held on Monday, August 5th 2024. Using a collaboration of lecture, discussion and practice methods, the training was held for two sessions with two focus topics in each session, namely recognizing emotions and managing emotions. The positive responses given by each participant at the end of the program stated that this provision made them aware to the emotions they felt and helped them respond to every emotion they experienced.]]>

<![CDATA[Researchers intend to understand the reasons behind the phenomenon of teenagers experiencing early pregnancy outside of official marriage and provide assistance. How teenagers struggle with self-acceptance and what efforts they make to overcome the tension: between discomfort on the one hand and the urgent need to adapt to environmental demands. Assistance is carried out by means of observation and interviews. There were 10 Christian teenagers who were accompanied, aged 12-19 years, unmarried, pregnant, and domiciled in the city of Semarang, as well as several cities in Central Java. The results of the assistance showed that the ten teenagers had gone through a period known as a chaotic period, where they felt embarrassed, afraid, confused, and even had the desire to abort their pregnancies. This can be overcome with the support provided by family and close friends. On the other hand, this activity emphasizes the importance of measurable and sustainable assistance so that teenagers have a better perspective and attitude in life than before.]]>

<![CDATA[This research arises from the urgent need to develop a comprehensive coaching model for children in vulnerable situations. Through an integrative approach based on biblical values, this research aims to transform the paradigm of coaching children in social institutions, focusing on the formation of a whole and dignified character. The research team used a qualitative method with a participatory descriptive approach, which places lectures and active discussions as the main instruments of data collection and processing. The research design was designed to explore the dynamics of character development at LKSA Sekar Pengharapan through direct and reflective interactions. The research proved the effectiveness of the Bible-based character development approach in transforming the lives of children at LKSA Sekar Pengharapan. The model developed is not merely theoretical, but has practical significance in breaking the chain of social problems and building a generation of character.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia initiated the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045 with an optimistic tone, but there are major challenges that are also present, such as increasing social complexity and moral decline that encourage cultural and spiritual values. The same anxiety was also felt by the mentors of the Efrata ID0524 Child Development Project (PPA) in Samarinda. One solution is to provide training on the basic principles for forming a generation that is able to be a light in the midst of the darkness of the times based on Matthew 5:16. The purpose of this activity is to equip PPA Efrata ID0524 students to become a 'Shining Generation' who are ready to contribute to Indonesia Emas 2045. The activity was held on November 4, 2024 at GBT Yesus Alfa Omega, Bukuan Village, Palaran District, Samarinda City. The number of attendees was 158 people consisting of mentors, students fostered by PPA ID0524 Samarinda aged 5-20 years, and parents of students. The method of briefing is through lectures interspersed with interactions. The briefing material is based on Matthew 5:16. The method of writing this PkM article is literature study and exegesis. The results of the briefing showed positive things, both in terms of enthusiasm and commitment from the participants.]]>
