Abstract

The implementation of 5G technology in Indonesia holds significant transformative potential across various sectors such as communication, education, healthcare, and industry. However, societal acceptance of this technology is still influenced by various factors, including understanding, needs, and concerns about its impact. This study aims to analyze public perceptions of the implementation of 5G technology in Indonesia through a qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with respondents from diverse social, economic, and geographical backgrounds. The analysis results indicate that the public generally appreciates the potential benefits of 5G, such as high-speed internet access and support for technological innovation. Nevertheless, concerns related to costs, data security, and health impacts remain major obstacles. This study emphasizes the importance of public education, inclusive policies, and effective communication strategies to support the optimal implementation of 5G technology. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers and industry players in designing implementation strategies that are responsive to societal needs.

Abstract

Fatty hydroxamic acids are chemical derivatives formed through the modification of the carboxyl group of fatty acids into a hydroxamate group, imparting unique and functional properties. The key chemical properties of these compounds include the ability to form strong complexes with metal ions, act as antioxidants, and possess high thermal and chemical stability. These combined properties make hydroxamate fatty acids relevant for various applications in the field of biotechnology. In waste treatment, these compounds serve as chelating agents to selectively bind heavy metals. In the pharmaceutical and food industries, hydroxamate fatty acids show potential as antimicrobial agents and natural preservatives. Furthermore, these compounds are used in enzymatic engineering to enhance the efficiency of biocatalytic reactions. Recent research also explores their use in microbial metabolic engineering to produce bioactive compounds with high added value. This article provides an in-depth review of the chemical properties, mechanisms of action, and diverse innovative applications of hydroxamate fatty acids, as well as discusses the technical challenges and opportunities for further development in the modern biotechnology era.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the factors influencing the acceptance of blockchain technology among entrepreneurs of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Blockchain technology offers various advantages, such as transparency, efficiency, and transaction security, which have the potential to enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs. However, the adoption rate remains relatively low, particularly in developing countries, including Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, this research involves in-depth interviews with MSME entrepreneurs from various sectors to understand their perceptions, barriers, and potential applications of blockchain in their business activities. The findings indicate that the main factors influencing blockchain acceptance include technological understanding, trust in the system, infrastructure readiness, regulatory support, and perceived benefits and costs. This study provides insights on how MSMEs can be encouraged to adopt blockchain technology through education, assistance, and policy reinforcement. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers, technology providers, and academics in designing strategies that support the implementation of blockchain in the MSME sector.

Abstract

Estimasi harga rumah merupakan salah satu tantangan utama dalam bidang properti, terutama karena banyaknya faktor yang memengaruhi nilai suatu rumah, seperti lokasi, luas bangunan, jumlah kamar, dan fasilitas. Artikel ini membahas pendekatan machine learning menggunakan regresi linier untuk memprediksi harga rumah berdasarkan berbagai parameter tersebut. Regresi linier dipilih karena kesederhanaannya, interpretabilitasnya, dan kemampuannya untuk menangani hubungan linier antara variabel. Data yang digunakan berasal dari dataset publik, yang mencakup berbagai fitur terkait properti. Dalam penelitian ini, data dibagi menjadi set pelatihan dan pengujian untuk mengevaluasi performa model. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa regresi linier mampu memberikan estimasi harga rumah yang cukup akurat, terutama dalam dataset dengan distribusi data yang merata. Selain itu, analisis dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi fitur yang paling berpengaruh terhadap harga rumah, seperti lokasi dan ukuran properti. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa regresi linier dapat menjadi solusi awal yang efektif untuk estimasi harga rumah, meskipun model yang lebih kompleks mungkin diperlukan untuk menangani data yang lebih besar dan variabel yang lebih dinamis. Abstract

The microbiome, a collection of microorganisms living within the human body, plays a crucial role in maintaining health and physiological balance. Recent research indicates that the microbiome not only acts as a defense mechanism against pathogens but also contributes to metabolism, the immune system, and neurological functions. This article explores the role of the microbiome in various aspects of human health, including its relationship with chronic diseases such as diabetes, obesity, autoimmune disorders, and neuropsychiatric conditions. Additionally, microbiome-based therapeutic approaches, such as fecal microbiota transplantation and probiotics, have demonstrated significant potential in disease treatment. With an increasingly deep understanding of the microbiome, personalized medicine approaches are becoming more feasible, paving the way for more effective and targeted treatments. This article highlights the importance of the microbiome as a new perspective in modern medicine and the need for further research to optimize its application in clinical practice.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of hydroxamic fatty acids in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, with a focus on their biological activities, product formulations, and compound stability in practical applications. Biological activity assays demonstrated that hydroxamic fatty acids exhibit significant antimicrobial effects against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, as well as effective anti-inflammatory activity by reducing the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in RAW 264.7 cells. Furthermore, anticancer tests on human breast cancer cells (MCF-7) showed that these compounds can inhibit cancer cell proliferation. In terms of product formulation, hydroxamic fatty acids were found to be stable in cosmetic products (facial serums and hair masks) and pharmaceutical products (topical ointments), with results indicating improvements in skin elasticity and hair quality, along with a reduction in inflammation symptoms in patients. However, a major challenge in the application of hydroxamic fatty acids lies in their complex synthesis process, which requires hazardous chemicals, thereby increasing production costs and impacting environmental sustainability. Therefore, further research is needed to develop more efficient and environmentally friendly synthesis methods. Overall, the findings of this study suggest that hydroxamic fatty acids hold significant potential for development as effective and safe active ingredients in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

Abstract

One of the primary sources of water for human needs is groundwater. Groundwater serves various household purposes, such as bathing, cooking, drinking, and washing. The presence of iron and manganese in groundwater has long been a serious concern, as these elements can impart an unpleasant taste and odor to the water. This study aims to determine the reduction levels of dissolved iron and manganese concentrations in groundwater using powdered water fern (Salvinia molesta) as an adsorbent. The reduction of iron and manganese concentrations was carried out by adsorbing these elements from groundwater using activated powdered water fern. The results showed that the concentrations of iron and manganese in the groundwater were reduced by 64.77% and 77.67%, respectively.

Abstract

The digital transformation in education has become a key pillar in addressing the challenges of 21st-century learning. The integration of educational technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), online learning applications, artificial intelligence (AI), as well as virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), has fundamentally reshaped teaching and learning paradigms across various educational levels. This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital technologies in educational settings and examine their impact on the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. The research employs a literature review and surveys conducted among educators and students across several educational institutions in Indonesia. The findings indicate that the use of educational technologies significantly enhances student engagement, broadens access to learning resources, and enables more personalized and adaptive learning approaches. However, this transformation also faces several challenges, including limited infrastructure, the readiness of human resources, and the digital divide across regions. Therefore, a comprehensive strategy involving the government, educational institutions, and other stakeholders is necessary to ensure equitable and sustainable digital transformation in education. This study provides strategic recommendations for policy development and the enhancement of digital capacity within the national education sector.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of densely populated urban settlements poses significant challenges in managing domestic wastewater. Traditional treatment systems often operate inefficiently, resulting in environmental pollution and heightened public health risks. This study seeks to evaluate and optimize a domestic wastewater treatment system utilizing an anaerobic-aerobic biofilter, offering an effective and sustainable solution for high-density residential areas. The methodology involves designing and implementing a two-stage biofilter reactor: the first stage facilitates the anaerobic decomposition of complex organic compounds, while the second stage employs aerobic processes to oxidize residual organic matter. The results demonstrate that the system effectively reduces BOD, COD, and TSS levels by approximately 80%, 75%, and 85%, respectively, while maintaining stable performance under varying organic load conditions. Moreover, the system presents notable advantages, including space efficiency, low operational costs, and ease of maintenance, making it particularly well-suited for densely populated environments. Optimization efforts focused on adjusting the hydraulic retention time, refining the distribution of biofilter media, and incorporating passive aeration systems to enhance energy efficiency. In conclusion, the anaerobic-aerobic biofilter system represents an effective, environmentally sustainable, and practical alternative for community-scale wastewater treatment in urban areas.

Abstract

The photoelectric effect is a physical phenomenon in which electrons are emitted from a metal surface as a result of exposure to light of a specific frequency. This phenomenon not only challenged the paradigms of classical physics but also laid the foundation for the development of modern technology, particularly in the field of renewable energy. This article provides a comprehensive discussion of the fundamental principles of the photoelectric effect, beginning with the quantum theory of light and moving to the classical experiments conducted by Albert Einstein, which refined our understanding of the dual nature of light. The primary focus of this study is to explore the application of the photoelectric effect in solar technology, particularly in the design and efficiency of next-generation solar cells. Photovoltaic technology utilizes this effect to directly convert light energy into electrical energy. Additionally, the article highlights recent innovations in semiconductor materials and nanostructures that enhance the performance of solar devices. Recent data show that the use of materials such as perovskite and multi-junction silicon can significantly improve energy conversion efficiency. The analysis was conducted using a qualitative approach based on a review of the latest literature from various scientific journals. The findings indicate that a deep understanding of the photoelectric effect is crucial for the development of sustainable, efficient, and environmentally friendly solar technologies. Thus, the integration of fundamental physics with technological innovation can drive the advancement of clean energy for the future.
