Water requirements are an important factor in plant growth. Manual watering systems are often ineffective and time consuming. IoT-based garden watering automation systems can be a solution to overcome these problems. The Internet of Things (IoT)-based garden watering automation system uses soil moisture sensors and integrates with telegram chat applications that have been developed to maintain soil moisture efficiently. System development methods involve hardware and software design steps, component integration testing, and system performance evaluation. Soil moisture sensors are used to accurately measure soil moisture as well as to detect soil moisture and automatically activate watering only when needed, while the ESP32 microcontroller module acts as the brain of the system that connects the soil moisture sensor with the Telegram app via a Wi-Fi network. Telegram chat app is used as an intuitive user interface to monitor and control the garden watering system. Through this integration, users can monitor and control the garden watering process practically and effectively. Therefore, Garden Warden has the potential to support modern agriculture by increasing water use efficiency and optimal plant growth.

The research in our project illustrates the application of hydroponic technology in Indonesia with a focus on nutrient control systems using the Internet of Things (IoT) and fuzzy logic for kale plants. Hydroponic methods such as Deep Flow Technic (DFT) are used to optimize plant growth in confined spaces, utilizing nutrient solutions that are controlled by pH and PPM. The system supports the efficiency and effectiveness of modern agriculture by monitoring environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and TDS values. This study shows that the system developed has an average error of 11.755% with an accuracy level of 88.65%. In addition, the system also managed to control the output of the nutrient pump with an error of 1.12% and an accuracy of 98.89%, as well as a water faucet with an average error of 0.47% and an accuracy of 99.75%. These results show the potential of IoT technology applications in increasing the productivity and sustainability of hydroponic agriculture in the future

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the food sector play a crucial role in supporting food security and local economic growth. A common challenge faced by these businesses is the lack of implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices for Household Industry (CPPB-IRT) that This hinders their ability to obtain the SPP-IRT (Household Industry Food Production Certificate), which is essential for ensuring food safety and quality. MN Sambal, an MSME producing chili sauce as a food product susceptible to spoilage and poses a significant risk to consumers if not handled properly. To assess MN Sambal's compliance with CPPB-IRT standards, research data was collected through observation, interviews, checklists, and literature review. The gap analysis based on BPOM regulation No. HK.03.1.23.04.12.2206 2012 revealed that MN Sambal achieved a high level of compliance are 83.8% conformity aspect and 16.2% non-conformity aspect. These non-conformities were identified in six aspects: Hygiene and Sanitation Facilities and Activities, Process Control, Food Labelling, Supervision by Responsible Parties, and Employee Training. Based on these nonconformities, it is recommended that MN Sambal undertake corrective actions to enhance CPPB-IRT implementation and increase its chances of obtaining the SPP-IRT certification, which will ultimately lead to increased product value and market expansion.

This study aims to evaluate the application of the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach in designing the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the CarbonArea website, which provides information on the impact of carbon dioxide (CO2) on food security. The research methodology included interviews with potential users, a literature review, as well as iterative stages of UCD, including understanding the context of use, identifying user needs, designing a solution, and conducting a design evaluation. The interview results revealed that users wanted interactive features such as maps and graphs for real-time monitoring of CO2 levels. The application of UCD proved effective in creating a design that meets user needs, while improving user experience and website attractiveness.

Tempeh is a typical Indonesian food that is consumed by almost all people. In the industrial world, companies are required to increase productivity because many competitors are increasingly competitive. The increase in raw material prices makes companies reluctant to buy materials in large quantities, so companies tend to maintain stock or supply of materials in order to meet increasing demand. This research aims to estimate the amount of tempe production using the Mamdani fuzzy logic approach with consideration factors in the form of supply and consumer demand. The research method uses literature reviews, testing with Matlab, and manual calculations to analyze demand and supply of tempeh in the industry. The test results using Matlab and manual calculations on tempe demand and supply obtained data that is in accordance with existing history, where if there is a demand for 6006 units of tempeh with a raw material supply of 6945, then it is predicted that the company will produce 6569 units of tempeh. It is hoped that this research can help the tempe industry in preparing production plans.

This research investigates the application of the Mamdani fuzzy logic method for predicting palm oil production based on consumer demand and supply data. The purpose is to enhance the accuracy of production forecasts critical for optimizing the palm oil industry in Indonesia. The methodology involves data collection on consumer demand and supply, formation of fuzzy sets, rule definition, and inference processing. Results indicate that the Mamdani method effectively correlates demand and supply levels with production outcomes, yielding consistent predictions when compared to manual calculations. The findings conclude that implementing fuzzy logic can significantly improve decision-making in palm oil production, leading to more efficient and sustainable practices within the industry. This study highlights the potential of fuzzy logic applications in agricultural production systems for better resource management.
