Abstract

The implementation of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system aims to simplify business licensing procedures, enhance efficiency, and provide legal certainty. However, OSS implementation faces challenges, including regulatory disharmony, limited technological infrastructure, and low digital literacy. This study employs a normative juridical method with regulatory analysis, focusing on laws such as Law Number 11 of 2020 and Government Regulation Number 5 of 2021. The findings indicate that OSS effectively accelerates licensing processes through the Business Identification Number (NIB), but obstacles remain. To optimize the system, improvements in infrastructure, regulatory harmonization, and intensive education and outreach are necessary

Abstract

In the context of Indonesia, the mining industry, especially nickel, contributes greatly to the country's wealth. However, this activity often causes environmental and social problems, especially if environmental management is not in accordance with the Environmental Impact Analysis (Amdal). Amdal is important to identify negative impacts on the community and environment around the mine. The process includes evaluating water and air quality and their impacts on flora, fauna, and the socio-economic life of the local community. Many Amdal violations occur due to lack of supervision, inappropriate documents, and negligence of procedures. These violations have a major impact on people's lives and cause water pollution, deforestation, and the risk of natural disasters. This study aims to examine Amdal violations in the nickel industry and their impacts on local communities and ecosystems. The method used is normative juridical, with an analysis of laws and regulations related to Amdal, to provide recommendations for more sustainable nickel resource management

Abstract

Internships are crucial for developing human resources (HR) in Indonesia, bridging the gap between education and industry. This study examines the implementation of Regulation No. 6 of 2020 by the Ministry of Manpower concerning domestic internships in Karawang, West Java. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to explore policy execution, challenges, and success factors. The findings reveal that while many companies comply with the regulation, challenges persist, such as limited understanding of regulations, weak supervision, and inadequate training facilities. Additional obstacles include mismatches between educational curricula and industry needs and infrastructure constraints in small and medium enterprises. Recommendations include strengthening supervision, providing incentives to companies, and enhancing collaboration between education and industry. These improvements aim to make internship programs more effective in enhancing workforce skills and increasing Indonesia's competitiveness in the global market

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of giving bonuses to permanent workers and contract workers at PT Kemas Indah Maju based on Government Regulation (PP) No. 36 of 2021 and the Collective Labor Agreement (PKB). The method used in this research is empirical with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. In the context of intense industrial competition, employee welfare is an important factor to increase productivity and loyalty. However, this study found that since 2020, PT Kemas Indah Maju has not provided bonuses to its employees, even though this has been regulated in the PKB. Lack of transparency regarding company profits and worker dissatisfaction are the main issues faced. The labor union has played an active role in fighting for workers' rights regarding bonuses, but no agreement has been reached. This study concludes that companies need to comply with existing regulations and establish good communication with workers to improve welfare and productivity. It is suggested that companies provide clear and open financial reports to workers and conduct periodic evaluations of bonus policies

Abstract

In Indonesia, the implementation of internships is governed by Law No. 13 of 2003 on Manpower. Article 1 of the law defines internships as part of a work training system that is carried out in an integrated manner, combining education or training at institutions with hands-on work experience. This process is conducted under the guidance and supervision of instructors or experienced workers during the production of goods and/or services within a company, with the aim of developing specific skills or expertise. Internship programs play a crucial role in workforce development by bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. For individuals, internships offer practical experience, allowing them to gain insight into workplace culture, internalize professional ethics, and enhance both technical and interpersonal skills. For companies, internships serve as a strategic investment—providing opportunities to identify potential future employees, support skill development, and boost productivity. Ultimately, internships benefit both parties by cultivating a more prepared and competitive workforce

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of licensing violations committed by PT. Multistrada Arah Sarana.Tbk and to analyze the role of the Environmental Service in handling licensing violations of PT. Multistrada Arah Sarana.Tbk. This study uses an Empirical method, namely library materials, observations and interviews with related parties. The results found that environmental licensing violations committed by PT. Multistrada Arah Sarana.Tbk, there were several violations such as changes in production facilities that made the transformation of new environmental approvals and did not have a technical detail permit for storing B3 waste, did not carry out cooperation in managing non-B3 waste whose economic value was based on the agreed agreement letter, and did not have practices to fulfill air emission quality standards. The suggestion from this study is that the Environmental Service after this violation must increase supervision of companies that have the potential or have not met environmental licensing requirements, the novelty of this study emphasizes more on interviews with related parties.

Abstract

Social security is a system designed to protect individuals from social risks that could threaten their well-being. Introduced in the early 20th century, the concept is increasingly relevant in Indonesia along with social, economic and globalization changes. The National Social Security System (SJSN) is regulated by Law No. 40/2004 and Law No. 24/2011, covering various programs such as the National Health Insurance (JKN), Old Age Insurance (JHT), and Work Accident Insurance (JKK). While the system aims to provide protection against risks such as sickness, accidents, and retirement, challenges such as low public participation, especially in the informal sector, as well as problems in the quality of BPJS services have been obstacles. Improvements in regulations, services, and public awareness are needed to increase the effectiveness of the social security program. With good cooperation between the government, BPJS, and the community, it is hoped that social security can improve the overall welfare and quality of life of the Indonesian people

Abstract

The abstract contains the objectives, methods of analysis and conclusions. The Social security is a fundamental right of every worker, guaranteed by Indonesian legislation. Workers under Fixed-Term Employment Agreements (PKWT) are normatively entitled to the same rights as permanent workers in accessing social security programs administered by the BPJS for Employment (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan). These programs include the Old Age Security (JHT), Pension Security (JP), Work Accident Security (JKK), and Death Security (JKM). However, in practice, many PKWT workers do not receive these entitlements due to various obstacles. This research employs a normative juridical approach by reviewing legal provisions such as the 1945 Constitution, Law No. 40 of 2004, Law No. 24 of 2011, Law No. 13 of 2003, and Government Regulation No. 35 of 2021. The findings reveal that the main barriers include the low legal awareness of employers, weak labor supervision mechanisms, and limited legal literacy among workers. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen regulations, improve legal education, and optimize the role of BPJS in reaching all workers, including those with temporary employment status, in order to realize fair and inclusive social protection
