Abstract

This study examines the role of teacher personality competence in enhancing students' resilience and character at SMP Al-Wasliyah 31 Medan. Teacher personality competence is an essential factor in shaping students' emotional and psychological development. The research focuses on how teachers' personal qualities, including empathy, communication skills, and emotional intelligence, contribute to fostering a positive learning environment and improving students' resilience. The study employed a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and observations involving teachers, students, and school management. The findings highlight that teacher personality competence significantly influences students' resilience, self-confidence, and moral development, ultimately contributing to a better learning atmosphere and stronger character formation. This research emphasizes the need for schools to invest in teacher development programs that enhance personal competencies to better support students’ holistic growth.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of using audiovisual media on students' learning interest in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. The research aims to determine whether the integration of audiovisual media in IRE lessons can enhance students' motivation and engagement in learning. The study employs a quantitative approach with a pre-test and post-test design, involving 100 students as participants. The data collected through questionnaires and tests were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results show a significant increase in students' learning interest after the implementation of audiovisual media in the classroom. The findings suggest that audiovisual media effectively captures students' attention and stimulates their interest in IRE, leading to improved learning outcomes. This study highlights the importance of incorporating innovative teaching methods, such as audiovisual media, in enhancing the quality of education and fostering greater student engagement.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) plays a crucial role in shaping students' emotional intelligence, particularly at the junior high school level. Emotional intelligence includes the ability to recognize, understand, and manage one's own emotions as well as those of others, which significantly impacts students' social interactions and academic success. This study aims to analyze the urgency of IRE in shaping students' emotional intelligence at SMP Al-Wasliyah 31 Medan. The research employs a qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that IRE significantly contributes to enhancing students' self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, and social skills. Therefore, integrating religious values into education is a crucial aspect of developing students' character and emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi anak melalui media buku digital di TK Ameera Naufal Kota Tebing Tinggi. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian lapangan kualitatif yang berfokus pada investigasi dan deskripsi kondisi atau fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan tanpa memanipulasi variable. Dalam konteks ini pendekatan deskriptif digunakan untuk menyoroti manfaat dari media buku digital berbasis artificial intelegency dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi anak usia dini. Penelitian ini dilakukan di awal tahun ajaran baru yaitu bulan Agustus sampai September 2024.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Sampel penelitian ini melibatkan pendidik dan peserta didik di TK Ameera Naufal Kota Tebing Tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media buku digital memudahkan pendidik dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran dan kemampuan literasi anak semakin meningkat. Kata Kunci: Buku Digital, Artificial Intelegency, Literasi Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of students' religious character development activities through Aqidah Akhlak learning. This research uses observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. The research results show that the implementation of Aqidah Akhlak learning consists of opening activities, core activities and closing activities. The teacher uses a combination method consisting of lecture, question and answer, assignment and discussion methods. Religious character development through learning Aqidah Akhlak at MIN 4 Asahan is carried out using the example method, habituation and advice methods.

Abstract

This study explores the strategies employed by teachers in overcoming student discipline issues at SMP M 57 Medan. Discipline problems in schools are common and can affect the learning environment, making it essential for teachers to apply effective strategies to manage and reduce disruptive behavior. This research aims to identify the approaches and methods teachers use to maintain discipline, create a positive classroom environment, and improve student behavior. Through interviews and observations, the study reveals that teachers at SMP M 57 Medan utilize a combination of preventive measures, consistent enforcement of rules, and restorative practices to address discipline issues. The results suggest that teacher-student relationships, clear expectations, and active involvement in the students’ social-emotional development are crucial components of an effective discipline strategy.
