Abstract

The increasing number of dock needs is a business opportunity that is being utilized by a company engaged in the Modular Float System or floating cubes in East Java. The company uses a Modular Float System or floating cubes made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) to be structured into an environmentally friendly floating dock. However, the floating dock business based on the Modular Float System or floating cubes is still experiencing several obstacles. The constraints experienced can cause losses for the company. This research uses the ISO 31000:2018 framework to identify potential risks and determine priority risks. Then design a strategy to mitigate the risk based on the root causes of the risk. The results of the analysis using the ISO 31000: 2018 framework found 33 sub risks from 4 risk categories. Based on the Risk Assessment, there are 4 priority sub-risks. The priority sub risks from external risk category are analyzed in order to get the root causes of their occurrence to obtain the right risk management strategy for the floating dock project.

Abstract

This research contains the coating repair process and costs required for a fishing boat with a hull length of 11 meters, starting from docking and cleaning old paint, with the aim of finding out the amount of materials neededand coating costs needed for a wooden boat. To determine how much paint should be used for wooden ship repairs. Qualitative description method, which is included in the qualitative research category. This writer aims to reveal events, phenomena, variables, situations and circumstances, facts that occur. Because almost all ship building materials are wood. In order for paint to meet the specified requirements, it must comply with the specified painting process, pre-inspection, surface preparation, paint preparation, and paint application. For thisreason, it is necessary to know the various types of painting techniques that must be prepared before carrying outthe process of painting the ship's hull. The coating process on the ship's hull uses 2 different types of paint, namely the Avian brand for base paint and the Avian moustrial and marine coating brand for color paint. Where each part of the ship is covered with 2 parts. i.e. base paint, the result is 10 liters with a hull area of 48m2. With a totalcost of Rp740,000, the yield of color paint was 9.6 liters, namely Rp816,000. So from this research it can be concluded that using base paint and anti-fouling paint is more profitable because it has been calculated and you can buy the right paint without having to have any leftovers. And the usage time is longer because the paint thickness is according to the specified one.

Abstract

This research contains an analysis of fishermen's boat maintenance starting from the availability of resources, repair methods, maintenance, costs and duration of the maintenance process. This is an issue that must be properly understood by boat owners and prospective fishermen. To determine the ideal type of wooden ship or FRP ship for use, the qualitative description method, which is included in the qualitative research category. To reveal actual events during research, the author's goal is to reveal events, phenomena, variables, situations and circumstances. This will allow us to present factual events as they unfold. The wooden boats and fiber boats studied on Jalan Ujungpangkah experienced different types of damage, so the repair and maintenance techniques or methods were not the same. On wooden ships, the damage that occurs is engine damage, hull damage, deck damage and keel damage. Whereas fiber boats include engine damage and propeller damage, the damage experienced by wooden and fiberglass boats is different and the repair techniques are also different. It can be seen from the calculation results that the cost of repairing a wooden boat is much more expensive than a fiberglass boat. Due to the strengthof the material, wooden boats have maintenance intervals of 5 years, more often than fiberglass boats, which is 20 to 12 years.

Currently, there are many websites that have been widely used as promotion media of a product to find out the problems in the marketing management information system that has been implemented in the company. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out further analysis using PIECES (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency and Service). The PIECES method is used to analyze marketing management information systems that have been implemented previously. After analyzing the existing marketing management information system, it is necessary to optimize it using the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) method to increase website visitor traffic. From the results of the analysis and application of the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) method, it was found that there were 892 visitor traffic in 1 month, 729 users obtained from Direct, 245 Referral users, 31 Organic Social users, and 17 Organic Search users. The impact of this SEO method can only be felt after 4 to 6 months ormore with the implementation of SEO methods and activities carried out continuously as long as the website still exists so that the traffic continuously increases. Based on the results obtained, sites with SEOimplementation have a much higher amount of traffic and have great potential to be used as marketing websites with a wider customer reach compared to sites that do not implement the SEO method

Abstract

For more than 20 years, one of the shipyard companies in Surabaya (PGS) has experienced the ups and downsof the shipyard business. Based on the number of ships repaired and the number of plates used by PGS per month in 2022, it is still fluctuating, indicating an inconsistency in the process of ship repair or input. The purpose of this study is to analyze the productivity value of the production division and analyze the factors that cause changes in productivity per month. From the results of calculating 4 productivity ratios using the objective matrix (OMAX) method and analyzing them with a traffic light system (TLS), with a total of 2 greenindicators, yellow with 22 and 24 with more red indicators indicating the need for improvement. In a comparison of productivity with the productivity index (IP), there were negative final results for six months (February (-5.7), March (-10.3), April (-2.0), May (-12.0) , September (-10.3), and November (-22.3)), a negative result means below standard or average. Then look for the root of the problem related to the cause of the ratio notreaching the target with a fishbone diagram.

Abstract

Surabaya State Shipbuilding Polytechnic is a polytechnic engaged in shipping. The status of PPNS which was originally a Work Unit (Satker) changed to a Public Service Agency (BLU). The recording of PPNS into BLU aims to improve services to the community. In this case, some facilities at PPNS can be used or rented by the general public, one of which is Graha Dewaruci. At this time, the determination of the rental rate has not been calculated properly, so an accurate rate calculation is needed by considering and paying attention to other variable indicators to produce an appropriate rate. To calculate the rental rate in this study, using the Cost Plus Pricing method of the Full Costing approach and the policies related to this calculation are decided by the PPNS asset manager who is an educational institution under the auspices of the government, so in the process of calculating the rental rate, it still uses the policies stipulated in government regulations to produce the Graha Dewaruci Building rental rate of IDR 16,320,000.
