Abstract

The viral culinary trend, marked by limited food availability yet a delectable taste appeal, has become a distinctive phenomenon in Indonesia, prompting long queues of enthusiastic consumers. This study explores various factors influencing young consumers' purchase intention in viral culinary products, focusing on perceived scarcity, electronic word of mouth, and fear of missing out on products from one of viral local culinary vendor. The purposive sampling method was applied, with the criteria of young customers aged 18-26 residing in Yogyakarta or Semarang who have seen reviews about The Golden Geisha restaurant's product reviews on various social media. The study analyzed 600 valid responses with Partial Least Squares Path Modelling with SMART-PLS 4 software. Perceived scarcity alone cannot directly influence young consumers' purchase intention but needs to be mediated by perceived food value. EWOM and FOMO are the other essential factors to be considered to increase the purchase intention of young customers. This study highlights the need for the viral food culinary brand to maintain product quality to differentiate themselves from competitors, maintaining brand reputation on digital social environments and also considers the FOMO factor that can shape consumer behavior of young customers.

Abstract

This research aims to explore how servant leadership fosters thriving at work by testing the mediating role of perceived insider status and the moderating role of psychological climate for caring. Data were gathered with a cross-sectional survey. A total of 145 full-time employed respondents working in different industries involved in the research. The data analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that servant leadership increases thriving at work both directly and indirectly via perceived insider status. In addition, psychological climate for caring climate is shown to strengthen the relationship between servant leadership and thriving, implying that supportive organizational environment enhances leadership effectiveness. This study contributes to the existing literature on positive organizational behavior by identifying perceived insider status as a key psychological mechanism and demonstrating that a caring climate serves as an important boundary condition shaping the servant leadership and thriving relationship.

Abstract

As digital governance becomes integral to modern public service delivery, evaluating the effectiveness of e-government systems through the lens of user behavior is increasingly essential. This study explores the critical success factors influencing the effectiveness of e-government services provided by the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, using the DeLone and McLean Information System Success Model as the theoretical foundation. The model’s core dimensions : system quality, information quality, service quality, use, user satisfaction, and individual performance, are examined to understand how these interrelated constructs shape user experience and performance outcomes. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 384 valid respondents through structured questionnaires. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS was applied for data analysis. The results confirm that system quality, information quality, and service quality significantly influence both user satisfaction and usage intensity, which in turn have a positive impact on individual performance. The findings provide empirical validation of the DeLone and McLean model in the e-government context and offer practical insights for enhancing the design and delivery of digital public services based on user-centric performance indicators.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of profitability, investment decisions, and sales growth on stock prices, with capital structure as an intervening variable in food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. The analysis is based on secondary data obtained from annual financial reports published on the official IDX website. From a population of 55 companies, purposive sampling resulted in 32 firms that met the research criteria. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and path analysis. The results show that profitability and capital structure significantly affect stock prices, whereas investment decisions and sales growth do not have significant direct effects. When tested simultaneously, the three independent variables collectively influence stock prices. Path analysis further indicates that the direct effects are stronger than the indirect effects, suggesting that capital structure—measured by the debt-to-equity ratio (DER)—does not mediate the relationship between the independent variables and stock prices. Theoretically, these findings reinforce signaling theory by demonstrating that profitability provides strong market signals capable of influencing stock price movements. Practically, the study offers insights for investors to prioritize profitability indicators and for managers to maintain an optimal capital structure that supports firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing, Gen Z lifestyle, and Cafe atmosphere on purchasing decisions at Cafe Biji Kopi. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, with a questionnaire that was tested for validity during a pilot study involving 30 respondents and subsequently deemed valid. The research sample consists of 96 respondents who are Gen Z consumers of Cafe Biji Kopi. Data were analyzed using a multiple linear regression model with the assistance of SPSS version 27 software. The main findings indicate that digital marketing, lifestyle, and Cafe atmosphere have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously. The implications of this study emphasize that the success of modern Cafes is not solely determined by product quality, but also by the effective implementation of digital marketing strategies, alignment with the lifestyle of Gen Z, and the creation of a Cafe atmosphere that provides a positive consumer experience. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to serve as a practical reference for Cafe managers in formulating marketing strategies that are adaptive to the characteristics of Gen Z.
