Abstract

The rapid expansion of e-commerce in Iran has significantly transformed consumer shopping behavior. This study examines the mediating effect of trust on the relationship between consumer consumption factors and online shopping behavior in Iran, applying the Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) framework. The DOI theory explains how consumers adopt new technologies and shopping platforms, influenced by factors such as perceived usefulness, ease of use, risk perception, and social influence. However, trust remains a crucial determinant in online transactions, acting as a bridge between consumer preferences and actual purchasing behavior. Using a quantitative approach, this study analyzes survey data from Iranian online shoppers to assess how trust influences their adoption of e-commerce platforms. Findings reveal that while consumer consumption factors significantly impact online shopping behavior, trust plays a pivotal mediating role, enhancing the adoption rate. This research contributes to both theoretical and practical discussions on digital commerce, providing insights for e-commerce businesses and policymakers aiming to foster trust and boost online retail adoption in Iran.

Abstract

The closure of the Bong Suwung localization in Yogyakarta City has proven to have a significant economic impact on the lives of the surrounding community who have been dependent on the economic ecosystem formed in the area. Many informal economic actors such as street vendors, parking attendants, stall owners, and other service providers have lost their main livelihoods. This impact not only leads to a direct decline in income, but also triggers a chain effect in the form of hidden unemployment, forced job transfers, and increased household economic vulnerability. In addition, the closure of this localization also resulted in the cessation of informal economic activities that were previously the backbone of the region's micro-economy. Communities' dependence on the existence of localization makes them particularly vulnerable when these key economic sources are abruptly shut down without adequate transition mechanisms or empowerment. Based on the results of field findings and strengthened by previous studies, it can be concluded that the policy of closing the Bong Suwung localization, if not accompanied by a structured economic assistance and empowerment strategy, has the potential to worsen the economic conditions of the affected residents and create new social inequality. Therefore, further policy interventions are urgently needed to restore and rebuild the economic resilience of communities post-localization closures.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, organizational values, and motivation on organizational culture within the Sri Tanjung MSME Association in Yogyakarta City. The main focus is to examine how these three factors contribute to shaping a solid organizational culture among MSME actors. A quantitative descriptive research design was employed. The population consisted of 90 members of the Sri Tanjung Association, with a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale. The data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.2.8. Validity was tested through convergent and discriminant validity, while reliability was measured using composite reliability and Cronbach’s Alpha. The findings indicate that organizational values exert the strongest influence on organizational culture, with a coefficient of 1.249 (p < 0.05). Motivation also shows a significant effect (p = 0.005), although the direction is negative (-0.962), suggesting the need for further investigation into the dominant type of motivation. Meanwhile, leadership does not significantly affect organizational culture (p = 0.260). Overall, the research model explains 66.5% of the variance in organizational culture (R² = 0.665). In conclusion, organizational values are the dominant factor shaping MSME organizational culture, followed by motivation and leadership. Strengthening organizational culture should prioritize the internalization of shared values, the adjustment of leadership styles to the organizational context, and the management of motivation to support collective values. Through this approach, the Sri Tanjung MSME Association can foster a more solid, adaptive, and sustainable organizational culture.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of inclusive leadership on innovative work behavior, emphasizing the mediating role of perceived organizational support. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 102 employees of through questionnaires distributed using a saturated sampling technique. Data were analyzed with version 4.1, employing validity and reliability tests (convergent validity, discriminant validity, average variance extracted, composite reliability, and Cronbach’s Alpha) as well as structural model assessments (R-square, goodness of fit, and P-Value). The results show that inclusive leadership positively influences both perceived organizational support and innovative work behavior, and that perceived organizational support also positively affects innovative work behavior. Furthermore, perceived organizational support mediates the relationship between inclusive leadership and innovative work behavior. However, the study is limited by its small sample size, focus on a single organization, reliance on self-reported data, and cross-sectional design, which constrain the generalizability and causal interpretation of the findings. Despite these limitations, the study suggests that fostering inclusive leadership and enhancing perceived organizational support can promote innovative work behavior. These findings offer valuable insights for human resource and leadership development strategies aiming to build more innovative and supportive workplace cultures.
