Abstract

Real-time systems are extensively used in many applications, especially critical systems. A real-time system is considered to be reliable and safe if it is able to execute all its tasks accurately within given time constraints. A requirement might need the real-time systems to execute several tasks. The system must be able to assign processors and necessary resources to ensure smooth and timely execution. In this paper, we give an overview of existing scheduling algorithms for static and dynamic systems. This paper also presents a comparative study of these scheduling algorithms.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) has revolutionized the way we collect and analyze data, particularly in the field of environmental monitoring. By using sensors and other IoT devices, it is possible to collect real-time data on a variety of environmental factors, such as temperature, air quality, water quality, and more. This data can then be analyzed to identify patterns and trends, and to make more informed decisions about how to manage and protect our environment. In this abstract, we explore the applications and benefits of environmental monitoring using IoT, including improved decision-making, increased efficiency, and reduced costs. We also discuss some of the challenges associated with IoT-based environmental monitoring, such as data security and privacy concerns, and the need for standardized protocols and frameworks. Overall, IoT-based environmental monitoring represents a promising new frontier in environmental management, with the potential to transform the way we understand and protect our planet.

Abstract

Indonesia has great potential for the development of Solar Power Plants (PLTS) thanks to its geographical condition which is located in a tropical area with sunshine all year round Average Daily Irradiation: Around 5-6 kWh/m² per day. This research aims to design and build an Off Grid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) that can meet electrical energy needs in underdeveloped, frontier and outermost areas (3T) in the Gangga Murmas Tree House tourist area, Lombok Utara. This area is known to have limited access to electricity from the main network, so the implementation of an Off Grid PLTS system is considered an effective and sustainable solution. The research method involves field surveys to identify environmental characteristics, energy needs, and electricity consumption patterns in the area. Next, an Off Grid PLTS system design analysis was carried out which included the selection of main components such as solar panels, energy storage batteries and charging controllers. System testing and evaluation is carried out to ensure optimal performance under local environmental conditions. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a significant contribution to the development of renewable energy in the 3T area, increase electricity accessibility, and support the sustainability of the Gangga Murmas Tree House tourist area. This PLTS is designed to meet electricity needs related to lighting at night in this tourist area, where currently there is no lighting at night. The power generated is 600 Wph with an electricity requirement of 120 Wh for 12 hours.

Abstract

Solar energy is very important because it is a renewable and environmentally friendly source of energy. The demand for solar energy is increasing every year because people are increasingly aware of the importance of using clean and sustainable energy sources. This study aims to analyze the performance of solar panels using a solar irradiation forecasting model developed by the Fuzzy Time Series and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) methods. Solar irradiation data obtained from measurement of solar irradiation by means of IoT is used as input in the forecasting model. The forecasting model is then tested to see its accuracy in predicting solar panel performance. The test results show that the developed forecasting model has high accuracy in predicting solar panel performance. Therefore, the Fuzzy Time Series and ANN methods can be used as an effective tool in analyzing the performance of solar panels by taking into account environmental factors that have an impact on electricity production from solar panels. This research can be a reference for solar panel developers to improve solar panel performance by utilizing solar irradiation forecasting information.

Abstract

The selection of participants in the student competency competition (LKS) of SMK Swasta Tritech Informatika Medan is done manually by collecting students, calculating and comparing with supporting data such as the average competency score in the report by productive teachers.
