INOVATE: Jurnal Ilmiah Inovasi Teknologi Informasi adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Teknologi Informasi, yang bertujuan untuk menampung dan mempublikasikan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa dari program studi Teknik Informatika, Sistem Informasi, serta Ilmu Komputer. Jurnal ini berfungsi sebagai wadah untuk pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang teknologi informasi, dengan penekanan pada inovasi serta penerapan teknologi terbaru dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada di masyarakat dan industri. Fokus utama jurnal ini meliputi penelitian yang berkaitan dengan bidang teknologi informasi, sistem informasi, rekayasa perangkat lunak, serta ilmu komputer. Setiap artikel yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal ini melalui proses review yang ketat, dengan tujuan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pengembangan teori, konsep, serta aplikasi dalam dunia teknologi informasi. Selain itu, jurnal ini juga bertujuan untuk memfasilitasi kolaborasi antara akademisi dan praktisi guna mendorong implementasi solusi teknologi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri serta perkembangan sosial yang dinamis. INOVATE diterbitkan secara berkala dengan frekuensi dua kali setahun dan terbuka untuk publikasi berbagai jenis artikel, termasuk penelitian dasar, pengembangan teknologi, serta studi kasus yang mengangkat inovasi di bidang sistem informasi, kecerdasan buatan, dan teknologi berbasis web maupun mobile.

Abstract

The selection of the best student is a routine agenda carried out by educational institutions as a form of appreciation for students who have superior achievements in various aspects. As applied at EEC Jombang, the best student selection process has been done manually by referring to the test score results. Therefore, it is necessary to have a web-based decision support system so that it can facilitate the selection of the best students in a more objective and structured manner. This research designs the system by applying the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method, because this method is able to handle various criteria and produce utility values for each alternative. The criteria in using the system include test scores, activeness, discipline, and attendance. The system is developed with the PHP programming language and utilizes MySQL as its database. The results of the application of the MAUT method show that the system is able to automatically calculate student preference scores based on predetermined criteria weights, as well as compile rankings to determine the students who are most deserving of the best title. The presence of this system makes the best student selection process more efficient, transparent, and accountable. Keywords: Decision Support System, Multi-Attribute Utility Theory, Top Students.

Abstract

Choosing the top educator serves as a recognition of the efforts of teachers who play a vital role in enhancing educational standards. The purpose of selecting the best teacher is to encourage motivation, dedication, responsibility, and professionalism among teachers. At SDN Blimbing, the process of selecting the best teacher is still done manually and uses only one assessment criterion, namely discipline. This causes the teacher selection process to be less objective and unstructured. As a solution to this problem, a web-based system for selecting the best teacher was designed by applying the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) and BORDA methods. The SMART method is used to calculate the final score based on predetermined criteria, while the BORDA method is used to determine the teacher's ranking based on the voting results from several evaluators. The criteria used in this study include attendance, discipline, administrative completeness, teaching practice, and teaching obligations. The results of this study show that the developed system can simplify the teacher selection process automatically and produce objective teacher rankings. This system has also proven to improve accuracy and efficiency in decision-making. Based on data testing, the teacher with the highest ranking is Fitri Dwi Rahayu with a final score of 30.88, while the teacher with the lowest ranking is Hijrah Pua with a final score of 0.25.

Abstract

Abstract High-quality yet less popular anime recommendations are a need for users on MyAnimeList.net, a platform containing thousands of anime titles with varying ratings and viewership numbers. This study aims to apply the Apriori algorithm to determine anime recommendations with high ratings but low viewership, using data from MyAnimeList.net. In the growing anime industry, many high-quality anime titles receive little attention from viewers. Therefore, it is essential to develop a recommendation system that can help users discover anime they may have missed. The dataset used consists of rating and viewership data from MyAnimeList.net. Through filtering and analysis, the Apriori algorithm successfully identified relationships among anime titles that meet the criteria of high ratings and low viewership, resulting in more targeted recommendations. This research is expected to contribute to the development of data mining-based recommendation systems, especially for recommending content that is rarely viewed yet has high quality. The use of the Apriori algorithm in content recommendations also shows potential in helping users find preferences that are more diverse and relevant to their interests.

Abstract

An information system for managing sales and inventory data is highly needed by business owners, especially for Broto Store, which operates at a mid-to-upper sales scale. Manual data processing is highly ineffective and can complicate record-keeping, leading to inaccuracies in reporting and ultimately affecting business decisions, particularly in inventory management. This study aims to develop a computerized sales and inventory information system equipped with a clustering feature using the K-Means algorithm to identify consumer buying interest in the products sold. The K-Means algorithm is utilized in this system by using total stock and total sales data as variables to determine the cluster results: less popular, popular, and very popular. The system is designed as a web-based application to simplify operations, transaction recording, inventory management, and consumer buying interest analysis. The implementation results of the clustering process performed by the system showed an accuracy of 94.44% when calculated using the clustering match ratio compared to manual calculations.

Abstract

The implementation of school regulations plays an important role in shaping students' character and discipline. However, at SMP Negeri 2 Tembelang, the recording of student violations is still done manually by the guidance and counseling (BK) teacher, which makes the data prone to being lost, difficult to trace, and slow in supporting decision-making. This study aims to design and develop a web-based student violation scoring information system using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method, which can assist the school in evaluating and classifying the level of violations objectively, quickly, and accurately. The SAW method is used to calculate violation scores based on several predetermined criteria, such as attitude and behavior, neatness, diligence, and the type of violation committed by the student. The system development process consists of the phases of requirements analysis, system design with UML, website implementation with PHP and MySQL and system testing with the black box method. The result of this research is a web-based information system application that can be used by administrators, BK teachers, classroom teachers, and guardians to record violations, calculate points, and display the results of classifying students' violation levels (mild, moderate, serious). The system is also equipped with an internal communication feature between school parties. System tests show that all functions work as expected. This system is intended to increase the efficiency of recording student violations and support the ongoing process of character development.

Abstract

Beasiswa adalah dukungan finansial dalam bidang pendidikan yang sangat penting bagi mahasiswa dari keluarga dengan keterbatasan ekonomi. Namun, pelaksanaan seleksi penerimanya kerap menghadapi hambatan terkait keadilan, keterbukaan, dan efektivitas sebuah proses. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem berbasis web untuk menunjang proses seleksi di Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari secara objektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun sistem berbasis web yang berfungsi sebagai alat bantu dalam proses pengambilan keputusan guna menentukan calon penerima beasiswa kurang mampu di Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah proses seleksi yang masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga menimbulkan potensi ketidaktepatan dan ketidakadilan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Profile Matching, dengan membandingkan profil calon dengan profil ideal berdasarkan kriteria akademik, ekonomi, keluarga, dan kepemilikan kartu bantuan sosial (KIP, PKH, KKS). Sistem dibangun menggunakan PHP dan MySQL dengan model pengembangan Waterfall. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menghasilkan peringkat calon penerima beasiswa dengan akurasi 100% dibandingkan seleksi manual, serta mempercepat proses seleksi hingga 70%. Dengan sistem ini, proses seleksi menjadi lebih efisien, objektif, dan transparan.
