Abstract

Extreme climate change poses a significant challenge for the agricultural sector, especially in determining the ideal rice yield. This research develops a web-based information system to optimize rice planting scheduling using the Fuzzy Time Series - Markov Chain method with human judgment. A case study was conducted in Megaluh, Jombang Regency, where the majority of participants are farmers. The developed system successfully provides rainfall predictions with a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of around 90.74% and recommends planting schedules that can reduce the risk of crop failure. The survey results conducted in January 2023 showed a rainfall of 507.21 mm, which falls into the high rainfall category. The aim of this research is to develop a web-based information system that can optimize rice planting scheduling using the Fuzzy Time Series - Markov Chain method, through the implementation of rainfall data in Megaluh District, Jombang Regency. The research methodology includes problem identification, literature review, data collection, system requirements analysis, system penetration, coding, and testing. Rainfall data from 2018 to 2022 is used to predict rainfall for the next two years, which is then used to recommend the ideal planting time for farmers. This research not only helps practitioners reduce the risk of crop failure due to weather uncertainty, but also introduces new concepts in information technology. Additionally, this system has the potential to be further developed and applied to other case studies for more accurate and optimal results. Keywords: Scheduling, Fuzzy Time series, Forecasting.

Abstract

Technological developments have had a significant impact on the banking industry, especially in facilitating access to information and financial services. This research implements the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm for classification of loan applications at BMT Mu'amalah Syari'ah Tebuireng. This research focuses on efficiency and accuracy in the loan application evaluation process which was previously carried out manually. The data used includes customer information collected through interviews and observations. After going through the data preprocessing and normalization stages, the K-NN algorithm is applied to classify loan applications based on parameters such as age, employment, monthly income, dependents, collateral, residence, and credit status. The implementation of this algorithm has been proven to be able to speed up the evaluation process and reduce the risk of errors in decision making, thereby providing significant benefits in improving service quality and operational efficiency at BMT Mu'amalah Syari'ah Tebuireng. Abstract

This research seeks to create and implement a Decision Support System (DSS) for Employee Recruitment at CV Wahana Sejahtera Foods using the Multi Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method. This system is designed to address challenges in selecting employees due to a large number of applicants, which complicates the Human Resources Department's (HRD) ability to identify the best candidates according to company criteria. The MOORA method was chosen for its ability to optimize various conflicting criteria simultaneously, thereby producing more objective and efficient selection outcomes. The web-based SPK is developed for easy access, development, and usability across multiple platforms. The system outputs the final results of MOORA calculations, which can be used as recommendations by HRD in the employee recruitment decision-making process. With this MOORA-based DSS, CV Wahana Sejahtera Foods can expedite and improve accuracy in selecting candidates, thus optimizing selection process efficiency and reducing subjective decision-making factors. Abstract

Inheritance law in Islam is commonly referred to as Faraidh. In the Islamic community, Faraidh is the science that deals with the distribution of inheritance. This subject is rarely studied, resulting in a lack of understanding among the public about Faraidh. This research aims to develop an expert system that can distribute inheritance according to those entitled to receive it. The expert system is web-based, using PHP programming language and MySQL database, and employs forward chaining reasoning and production rules (if-then rules) as the procedure for solving inheritance distribution. The methodology used is the waterfall methodology. The result of this research is an expert system that can distribute inheritance according to who is entitled to receive it, the amount of each share, the percentage of the total inheritance received from the net estate after deducting wills, funeral expenses, and debts. Abstract

Attendance is often used as a consideration for a superior to assess employee performance. Attendance data is very influential in seeing and assessing employee absenteeism. Attendance that still uses paper tends to have many weaknesses, including data loss, data errors or damage to attendance data. Online attendance is attendance that uses web-based technology that can help employees with attendance and superiors can see and assess an employee's performance. This online attendance was built using Mysql as a database system and framework called Laravel. The system uses email and passwords as data security and this system is equipped with several menu features including an attendance menu, which displays employee entry and return data with the time and date the employee was absent, an attendance history menu for both users to avoid data errors as well as data backup material, the result is that employees do not need to worry about data loss, data errors or data damage. The system also applies a rating scalemethod, where the system can display employee attendance data in a display of the lowest scale value to the highest value, through this system superiors can make considerations regarding an employee's performance. Abstract

The lebak Indah waste bank server information system has several activities, including customer service, customer registration, queues as well as depositing and withdrawing balances. The purpose of creating a waste bank service information system is to help the performance of officers and customer queues at the beautiful waste bank. Queue can be interpreted as steps starting from the moment the customer arrives, waiting for service, and getting service. An unstructured queue system can interfere with the service well. However, together because of the current development of information technology, there have been many developments in the queue system. The purpose of this research is to design and develop data systems. Web-based beautiful lebak waste bank service with case studies found in Lebak Village garbage bank. The garbage bank service is on the object sometimes causing long and irregular queues, especially when the time of weighing waste causes customers to be crammed to queue. Based on the description of the problem, researchers are interested in developing and building a Web-Based Lebak Indah Waste Bank Service Information System with the Help of FIFO Algorithm (Case Study of Lebak Village Waste Bank). FIFO is a method to solve queue problems that may be applied as the first way to enter is considered as the first way to exit. Abstract

Every year the population of Sukomulyo village will increase so that the tasks and burdens of the Sukomulyo village government will also increase along with the increasing population, to overcome this the village government must be able to work optimally such as providing administrative services using an administration system so that services can be carried out quickly and efficiently. And with the existence of a village administration system, it can help the village government in managing population data that can be done independently so that it becomes information for village development and construction. to maximize system performance when searching for population data and letter data, researchers want to use a string search algorithm, namely the Boyer Moore algorithm, the Boyer Moore algorithm is one of the string search algorithms that is able to produce very good search performance because it has a large character matching jump. Based on the results of testing carried out from several stages of testing, the first test was carried out by entering a pattern with several input patterns that were searched for, the fastest search time was obtained, namely 363 milliseconds, in the second test carried out by classifying data based on the amount of data in the database, the results showed that the amount of data in the database did not greatly affect the performance of the Boyer Moore algorithm when searching. So, from several stages of testing that were carried out, it was proven that using the Boyer Moore algorithm provides fast and efficient data search performance. Abstract

In the current digital era, the use of information and communication technology is very important to support the development of the tourism industry. Utilization of web-based information systems can be an effective solution to overcoming the problem of lack of information. Web-based information system provides accurate, complete and up-todate tourist destination information and can be accessed by anyone, anytime, anywhere.to ensure the development of information systems that are appropriate and in accordance with user needs, a research and development (r&d) approach was chosen in this research. The r&d approach includes a series of systematic steps starting from initial research to understand needs and problems, to system design and development, to system evaluation and improvement. With this approach, it is hoped that the resulting information system can become an effective means of promoting and increasing the tourist attraction of sumber boto. Sumber boto is a natural tourist destination with unspoiled natural beauty, clear water flow and a calm and cool atmosphere. This natural beauty is a special attraction for tourists who want to enjoy natural beauty and seek tranquility, far from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city. Tourism is one of the industries that has a strategic role in encouraging economic growth in a region. Abstract

Teacher performance appraisal plays an important role in improving education standards and ensuring the efficiency of teaching and learning procedures.The research aims to design and develop a website-based teacher performance assessment application using the Graphic Rating Scale (GRS) method at MI Al-Hikmah Sidowarek. This method was chosen because of its effectiveness in providing an objective assessment of performance. The research is carried out with phases of needs analysis, system design based on UML, application implementation, and testing to ensure its functionality. The app developed provides a secure login system, teacher data management, setting evaluation criteria, as well as drawing up a printed evaluation report. Teacher performance evaluation results are evaluated using a scale that covers pedagogical, personal, social, and professional aspects. Using GRS, this application provides an in-depth understanding of each teacher's performance access, which was previously done manually or conventionally. Analysis of the evaluation results shows that the pedagogical and professional aspects often score higher than the personal and social aspects. Teachers who earn high scores can be recommended for career development and increased leadership responsibilities, while those who do not meet the standards can be given guidance for sustainable professional development. The application test results showed good performance and were well received by users, including administrators, evaluation teams, and the head of school. This application not only improves efficiency in assessing teacher performance, but also improves transparency and accuracy in the evaluation process. Abstract

Along with the development of information technology, various aspects of life have undergone significant changes, including in the field of healthcare. Healthcare services are crucial in society, yet they face challenges in patient queue management. Long and disorganized queues can cause discomfort and dissatisfaction among patients, as well as disrupt the workflow of medical staff. At the general practice of Dr. Pudji Umbaran, M.Kp in Peterongan District, Jombang Regency, queue management often encounters issues due to a manual and inefficient registration system. This study aims to design and implement a patient queue system based on a website using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method to enhance time efficiency and service fairness. This method prioritizes patients based on their Arrival time, significantly reducing Waiting times and improving patient satisfaction. The research findings demonstrate that implementing the FIFO method effectively manages patient queues at the general practice, resulting in a significant decrease in waiting and processing times. This system offers an efficient solution to enhance service quality and operational efficiency in the doctor's practice. Keywords: Queue, FIFO, Practice, Service.
