Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of reward, punishment, and leadership style on employee performance at PT Plaza Auto Prima in the West Jakarta area. Based on the hypothesis testing results, it was found that, simultaneously, these three variables have a significant impact on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. Although punishment did not have a significant individual effect, the combination of reward, punishment, and leadership style collectively contributed positively to employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 58.8% indicates that other factors, such as job satisfaction and company culture, may also influence employee performance. Reward was found to have a significant positive effect, while punishment did not directly affect performance. Leadership style, particularly supportive and participative leadership, played a crucial role in enhancing employee performance. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the company focus more on well-targeted reward policies and the development of supportive leadership styles, while ensuring that punishment is applied proportionally and fairly. This study provides insights for PT Plaza Auto Prima in designing more effective policies to improve employee performance and create a more productive and innovative work environment.

Abstract

The global pharmaceutical industry has faced unprecedented disruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, exposing significant vulnerabilities in traditional supply chain models. This research, titled "Optimization of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Resilience in the Post-Pandemic Era," investigates strategic frameworks to enhance the agility and robustness of drug distribution networks. The primary objective is to identify critical success factors that allow pharmaceutical companies to maintain a steady supply of essential medicines during volatile periods. The study utilizes a qualitative descriptive methodology, integrating data from global energy and health reports with strategic management theories. Key areas of focus include the transition from "Just-in-Time" to "Just-in-Case" inventory strategies, the role of digital transformation, and the importance of regionalized manufacturing hubs. Findings suggest that resilience is not merely a technical attribute but a strategic capability driven by real-time data visibility and multi-stakeholder collaboration. The research provides a comprehensive roadmap for policymakers and pharmaceutical executives to build a supply chain that is not only efficient but also resilient against future systemic shocks. By adopting the proposed optimization strategies, organizations can ensure patient safety and maintain operational continuity in an increasingly unpredictable global landscape.

Abstract

The global urgency to mitigate climate change has pushed the power generation sector toward a rapid energy transition. This study, titled "A Strategic Evaluation of Clean Coal Technology as an Accelerator for Net Zero Emission Targets in the Electricity Sector," examines the pivotal role of Clean Coal Technology (CCT) in bridging the gap between current fossil fuel dependency and a future dominated by renewable energy. As many developing nations remain reliant on coal for energy security and affordability, the immediate abandonment of coal assets poses significant economic risks. This research explores how technologies such as High-Efficiency Low-Emission (HELE) systems, Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), and biomass co-firing can be strategically deployed to reduce carbon footprints without compromising grid stability. The study employs a qualitative strategic analysis, evaluating the technical feasibility, economic viability, and environmental impact of these innovations. The findings suggest that CCT should not be viewed as a long-term alternative to renewables, but rather as a critical strategic accelerator that allows for a "just transition." By modernizing existing infrastructure, countries can achieve significant emission reductions in the short to medium term while building the financial and technical capacity required for a full renewable shift. Ultimately, this research provides a framework for policymakers and utility managers to integrate CCT into their broader Net Zero Emission (NZE) roadmaps.

Abstract

In the high-pressure environment of modern healthcare, the ability to exchange critical information, clinical insights, and experiential wisdom is a fundamental determinant of patient safety and organizational resilience. Knowledge Sharing Behavior (KSB) within health care units is not merely a professional courtesy but a life-saving necessity. However, the hierarchical nature of medical institutions and the high stakes of clinical errors often create an atmosphere of silence, where staff members hesitate to share “half-baked” ideas or report “near-miss” incidents. This research investigates the mechanisms for nurturing KSB by focusing on the pivotal mediating role of Psychological Safety. Drawing upon Social Cognitive Theory and Social Exchange Theory, this study examines how organizational antecedents specifically inclusive leadership and organizational trust influence the willingness of healthcare professionals to engage in knowledge donating and collecting. A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing a structured survey administered to 400 healthcare practitioners, including doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals across various specialized units. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach to test the hypothesized mediating pathways. The empirical findings reveal that Psychological Safety acts as a potent mediator; while structural support and trust are necessary, they are insufficient to trigger consistent knowledge sharing unless staff members feel interpersonally safe to take risks. The results indicate that in units characterized by high psychological safety, there is a significantly higher frequency of informal knowledge exchange and collaborative problem-solving. This study contributes to healthcare management literature by highlighting that the path to a "learning health system" lies in reducing the perceived social risk of speaking up. Practically, the findings provide a strategic blueprint for hospital administrators to foster a culture of openness, ensuring that vital clinical knowledge flows freely to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving landscape of global higher education, characterized by digital disruption and shifting pedagogical paradigms, the ability of an institution to innovate has become a primary determinant of its long-term sustainability and academic excellence. At the center of this transformative process is Innovative Work Behavior (IWB), a multifaceted construct that encompasses the generation, promotion, and implementation of novel ideas by academic staff to enhance organizational effectiveness. Despite its critical importance, many higher education institutions (HEIs) struggle to move beyond traditional, bureaucratic management styles that often stifle individual creativity. This study aims to fill a significant gap in the literature by empirically investigating the influence of two key organizational determinants Job Autonomy and Perceived Organizational Support (POS) on the innovative work behavior of educators within the higher education sector. Drawing upon Job Characteristics Theory and Social Exchange Theory, this research utilizes a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through a structured online survey from a diverse sample of 350 full-time faculty members and academic staff across several prominent universities. The research instrument utilized validated scales to measure the latent constructs, and the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). This method was selected for its robustness in testing complex structural relationships and its high predictive power in organizational behavior studies.
