Abstract

The significant increase in cases of depression and burnout makes the mental health of high school students a critical issue, fundamentally hindering their academic success and psychosocial well-being. The purpose of this study was to analyze and formulate an ideal model of collaboration between teachers and parents as a basis for comprehensive support. Data from five different scientific articles quantitative, qualitative, and editorial were synthesized to form a workable theoretical framework. The results of this review developed the Support Alliance model, which emphasizes that effective collaboration must be based on trust, competence, and two-way communication. Key findings emphasize that emotional support from the home environment is the most important factor, and this collaboration should include training in resilience and self-management skills to strengthen students' internal well-being. While the Support Alliance model has a strong conceptual foundation, this study identified significant shortcomings in its implementation, primarily due to the high resource requirements, the urgency of developing measurable operational guidelines, and the integration of professional clinical expertise in handling high-risk cases.

This study aims to explain and understand (1) the concept of teacher professional ethics in the use of technology, (2) the principles of professional responsibility and the moral values of teachers, and (3) challenges and solutions in applying teacher professional ethics in the use of technology. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data was collected from secondary sources, specifically journals published within the last five years (2021-2025) and digital books (e-books). The results show that teacher professional ethics in the use of technology is a set of values, norms, and moral principles that guide teachers in using technology professionally, responsibly, and with a goal-oriented mindset. The professional responsibilities of teachers are based on honesty, integrity, accountability, fairness, and concern for students’ development. The challenges include teachers’ limited digital literacy, minimal understanding of digital ethics, potential misuse of social media, etc. It is concluded that teachers’ professional ethics play a fundamental role in the use of technology in the digital era and serve as an ethical framework that requires teachers to act professionally, responsibly, and in accordance with moral values. Therefore, mastery of technology must be accompanied by ethical awareness so that educational goals can be achieved optimally and meaningfully.

The development of science and technology in the era of globalization and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 demands that Islamic education undergo a paradigm shift without losing its Islamic identity. This study aims to analyze the relevance of contemporary Islamic philosophy in the development of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), particularly in responding to the challenges of modernity, globalization, and the digitalization of education. Contemporary Islamic philosophy is understood as a framework of thought that seeks to harmoniously integrate reason, revelation, spiritual values, and social reality. Through a literature review approach, this study examines the thoughts of classical and contemporary Islamic educational philosophy figures, such as Ibn Khaldun, Ibn Sina, and K.H. Ahmad Dahlan, and their implications for curriculum, learning methods, and student character development. The study's findings demonstrate that contemporary Islamic philosophy has significantly contributed to strengthening the holistic, integrative, and contextual orientation of Islamic education. The integration of the values of monotheism, morality, and critical thinking serves as an essential foundation for developing a Muslim character that adapts to changing times without losing its Islamic identity. Therefore, contemporary Islamic philosophy is relevant as a conceptual foundation for the development of Islamic Religious Education in the modern era.

Abstract

Surah Al-Kautsar, although the shortest chapter in the Quran, contains profound theological and pedagogical messages regarding the essence of gratitude and the manifestation of worship. This study aims to analyze the dimensions of worship education contained in Surah Al-Kautsar verses 1-3 and their relevance in shaping Muslim character. The research method used was qualitative, with library research using a thematic interpretation (maudhu'i) approach. Primary data were sourced from the Quranic text and authoritative commentaries, while secondary data were obtained from relevant Islamic education literature. The results show that Surah Al-Kautsar integrates three main pillars of worship education: awareness of God's blessings (tawhid), consistency in ritual worship (salat), and social sacrifice through the act of sacrifice. The prominent educational value is the transformation of gratitude from mere verbal expression into concrete actions that impact individual and social piety. This study concludes that worship education based on Surah Al-Kautsar is highly effective in fostering steadfastness and social awareness amidst the challenges of modern materialism.

Abstract

Islamic universities in Indonesia have seen notable growth along with the demands of scientific development, technological progress, and the needs of modern society. The change from Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) to Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) is one way to update the system of higher Islamic education in Indonesia. This change is not just administrative; it also shows a shift in the scientific approach that emphasizes the integration between religious studies and general sciences. This paper aims to examine the developing ideas in the UIN environment, explain the process of its establishment and growth in Indonesia, and analyze the curriculum paradigm used in the educational system of UIN. This study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, which involves examining various sources such as books, academic journals, and relevant documents related to the research topic. The findings show that the thinking discourse at UIN is heavily influenced by the idea of integrating knowledge, which aims to eliminate the separation between religious science and general science. In addition, the establishment of UIN was also driven by the need to expand academic research and improve the quality of Islamic education so that it can compete in the development of higher education at both national and international levels. In terms of the curriculum, UIN develops an integrated and interconnected approach that combines Islamic values with various modern academic disciplines. So, Islamic universities in Indonesia are expected to produce graduates who not only have strong religious knowledge but also academic and professional skills that match the needs of the times.

Abstract

This research aims to comprehensively examine the significance of emotional regulation in stimulating academic success and forming strong resilience in students. The dynamics of modern education expose students to high cognitive loads and complex psychosocial pressures, both in the internal school and external family environments. Using the library research method (library study), this research collects, reduces, displays and analyzes data from various relevant scientific literature, textbooks and accredited journals. The results of in-depth studies show that there is a close biological and psychological correlation between emotional stability and cognitive performance. Neuroscientifically, the amygdala hijack phenomenon has been proven to be able to paralyze the function of the prefrontal cortex as the control center for logical thinking and executive memory, thereby hampering the process of absorbing teaching material. Other findings indicate that resilience functions as a crucial mediator that transforms the distress of academic failure into motivation for adaptive improvement. To optimize these two aspects, the role of educators in creating a psychologically safe classroom climate through the implementation of a humanist-dialogical teaching style is an absolute prerequisite. The recommendations of this research point to the importance of integrating socio-emotional curriculum in college and high school settings.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought about fundamental changes in the world of education, including Islamic education, which now faces both opportunities for innovation and moral challenges that cannot be ignored. This study aims to comprehensively examine the dynamics of Islamic education in the digital age, covering forms of technology-based learning innovations and the moral challenges posed by digital exposure to students. The method used is library research with a qualitative-descriptive approach through content analysis of various relevant and up-to-date scientific literature sources. The results indicate that innovations in Islamic education during the digital era include the use of e-learning platforms, blended learning, and interactive media based on information technology, which have been proven to enhance the effectiveness and engagement of students. However, on the other hand, the digital era also poses serious threats, such as moral degradation, exposure to negative content, and the weakening of Islamic character among the younger generation. This study concludes that the integration of Islamic values into every aspect of digital learning is a strategic solution that must be implemented systematically through the strengthening of the curriculum, teacher competencies, and the role of the family. The contribution of this study lies in offering an integrative conceptual framework between technological innovation and the strengthening of moral character in contemporary Islamic education.

This study examines the implementation of tabayyun in Islamic education and its role in enhancing digital literacy and student character. Findings indicate that tabayyun fosters critical thinking, ethical awareness, and responsibility in handling information, producing students who are digitally literate, responsible, and morally grounded in accordance with Islamic values.

Abstract

Moral education toward parents is one of the fundamental teachings in Islam that plays an important role in shaping children's character and personality. However, the development of modern lifestyles and social changes has led to a decline in the practice of respect and devotion toward parents. This study aims to analyze the concept of moral education toward parents from the perspective of the Qur’an through an examination of Surah Luqman verses 14–15, as well as to identify the educational values contained within these verses and their relevance to daily life. This study employed a qualitative library research method using the Qur’an, Qur’anic exegesis books, scholarly journals, and relevant literature as primary sources. The findings reveal that Surah Luqman verses 14–15 contain essential moral education values, including gratitude to Allah and parents, birr al-walidayn (devotion to parents), proportional obedience, patience, empathy, and maintaining good relationships with parents under all circumstances. Furthermore, these verses emphasize the importance of appreciating the sacrifices made by parents, particularly mothers, while affirming that obedience to parents must not contradict the principle of tawhid (the oneness of Allah). Therefore, the values embedded in Surah Luqman verses 14–15 remain highly relevant as a foundation for developing noble character and responsible behavior in family and social life.
