Abstract

Workplace safety remains a crucial concern in Indonesia's industrial sector. According to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, more than 315,000 occupational accidents were recorded in 2023, with 73% occurring in the manufacturing and construction sectors. This alarming number highlights the need for psychological and behavioral interventions rather than technical compliance alone. This study aims to examine how Safety Awareness Training at PT Barata Indonesia can improve employees' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral awareness toward safe practices. Using a pre–post test design involving 400 participants, the training program focused on risk perception, motivation, and safety-related self-efficacy. Results showed a significant improvement in participants' knowledge and engagement, with a 30% increase in post-test scores. Findings emphasize the role of psychological mechanisms such as motivation, reinforcement, and observational learning in developing a safety-oriented mindset. This study contributes to understanding how structured psychological interventions can create long-term behavioral change in workplace safety.

Abstract

This bibliometric study explored psychoeducational interventions targeting sexual risk behaviors among college students from 1990 to 2024. A total of 1,847 publications were analyzed from Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, PsycINFO, and ERIC. Temporal mapping revealed three developmental stages: emergence (1990–2005), rapid expansion (2006–2015), and consolidation (2016–2024), with an average annual growth rate of 8.4%. Most studies originated from North America, particularly the United States (68.3%). The Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills Model was the most frequently applied framework (16.9%), followed by the Theory of Planned Behavior (15.6%). Group-based psychoeducational workshops demonstrated the greatest impact (Cohen’s d = 0.67) and strong cost-effectiveness, while digital interventions expanded outreach but struggled with sustained engagement. The interventions were most effective in reducing sexual coercion (40.7%) and improving STI status discussions (40.8%). Over time, research evolved from disease prevention to holistic wellness promotion. Nevertheless, regional disparities and limited cultural adaptation remain key challenges for global implementation.

Abstract

Independence is an independent character trait instilled and developed in children from an early age; this habit will build a strong personality. The problem is that children with ASD are too dependent on special assistant teachers when they are going to carry out an activity at school. The method used by special assistant teachers is repeated, a regular habituation to help build children with ASD's independence. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of habituation methods to build independence in children with ASD at SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The informants in this study were two special assistant teachers selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used interviews and observations. The data validity method is a triangulation technique. Data analysis uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the habituation method for building independence in children with ASD at SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari is divided into preparation for the habituation method, its implementation, and its evaluation. With the implementation of the habituation method, children with ASD can engage in activities effectively in areas of emotional independence, behavior, and values.

Abstract

Business actors in the economic sector experienced difficulties in generating income during the Covid-19 pandemic, including angkringan traders, also known locally as Hik (Hidangan Istimewa Kampung). This study aims to describe the causal factors of stress and the coping strategies used by angkringan traders during the pandemic. The research population comprised angkringan traders in Sukoharjo, with a sample of 43 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The results show that the leading causes of stress were fear of contracting COVID-19 and concerns about declining income. Problem-focused coping strategies included seeking financial assistance through MSME aid programs, reminding buyers to follow health protocols, and continuing to trade while implementing strict safety measures. Emotion—focused coping strategies involved learning to save money, maintaining patience, and strengthening personal resilience. Overall, angkringan traders employed a combination of practical and emotional techniques to navigate the economic and health challenges posed by the pandemic.
