Journal of Humanities, Community Service, and Empowerment (JHCSE) is a peer-reviewed journal published by Global World Scientific. It is at the national and international level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to humanities, community services, development, strengthening, and empowerment. This journal accepts articles on research results in growth, empowerment, and community strengthening and the consequences of activities or practical implementations of community service, empowerment, or strengthening that are problem-solving, comprehensive, meaningful, and sustainable, with clear goals. Various community service and empowerment activities must have novelty (innovation and creativity) so that they do not just replicate the same actions in different places, have measurable results and impacts on society, and support achieving the goals outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SDGs are a global action plan agreed by world leaders to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect the environment. The SDGs contain 17 Goals and 169 Targets, so each article must be linked to these goals and targets (as stated in the contribution statement). Therefore, the Journal of Humanities, Community Service and Empowerment accepts articles from Indonesian authors and other countries that have not been offered for publication elsewhere. The first issued in January 2024, the Journal of Humanities, Community Service and Empowerment publishes new editions fourth a year. Journal of Humanities, Community Service and Empowerment has published electronic (PDF) versions.

Abstract

People's Business Credit (KUR) is one of the government programs that aims to support the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector in Indonesia. This program offers access to capital at low interest rates for MSMEs that require assistance in developing their businesses. This study examines the procedures and requirements for submitting KUR at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) KCP Batanghari, as well as an evaluation of its implementation and impact on the development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The primary focus of this study is to identify factors that influence the eligibility of MSMEs to receive KUR, as well as how this program supports the growth of the small business sector in Indonesia. The study's results show that, although the KUR program has made a significant contribution to supporting the development of MSMEs, challenges remain in its implementation. Several factors, including a complicated application process, a lack of understanding of the requirements, and limited information about the program, are the main obstacles. However, the success of payment restructuring and training for KUR recipients has shown a positive impact on the ability of MSMEs to develop. Therefore, evaluation and improvement of procedures, as well as further counseling, are needed for MSME actors to optimize the benefits of KUR for the MSME sector.

Abstract

This study focuses on the implementation of digital marketing carried out by PT Banua Mentor Pratama through the social media platforms WhatsApp Business, Instagram, and TikTok to increase the number of customers using private tutoring services. The results of the study show that although digital marketing has a positive effect on increasing the number of customers, the impact is not significant. However, companies that are active in digital marketing tend to experience an increase in the number of customers, which indicates a positive correlation between the level of online interaction and customer base growth. The increase in customers is more visible in the use of Instagram Ads and WhatsApp Business, while TikTok plays a greater role in expanding the market by increasing profile visits. This study suggests that although digital marketing provides good results, PT Banua Mentor needs to improve and enhance the quality of the content posted, and focus more on the distribution of educational content. Digital marketing opens up great opportunities for business development and needs to be maximized, considering the transformation from conventional marketing to digital which is very important in facing increasingly tight economic competition. To achieve more significant results, companies must develop more targeted strategies and utilize the features available on social media platforms more optimally.
